Oct. or end of aug

so we were thinking about going to Disney in October or end of aug. I'm leaning toward October, but I'm thinking it will be more crowded. Anyone been during that time in past couple of years... week of Columbus Day or middle of October? We really wanted to go to Halloween party. I did see some people think there might be Halloween party at end of aug.

We love going in October, but it has gotten more crowded each year. Lots of fall breaks occur in October. That being said, the weather is generally lovely. And the Halloween party is so much fun. I'd pick October over August.

I would go in October over August as well. August is still summer time which means people are taking last minute vacations. Also the Halloween party is so so so fun and has the BEST parade and fireworks! I wanna say the Halloween parties do start pretty early but you'd have to look back at years past and compare. I think like 2nd week of September they start.

Weather will be slightly less humid, crowds should be better, and you'll have a guaranteed chance at a MNSSHP. If they happen to have a Halloween party in august that will be really early
