Well everyone...wanted to let you know I earned my Donald WDW half marathon medal this weekend. I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life. The pure accomplishment of finishing 13.1 miles, with a smile, and standing up! DH and I are planning on a trip to Disneyland in September to do the Disneyland half marathon.

DH-Peter, ran the half marathon in 2:20:47, my time was 3:19:07. I will post a picture of us with our medals soon.

We are also booked at CI & S the night before our cruise. We have stayed there and enjoyed it immensly. The shuttle service is great. The breakfast is enjoyable. The staff is great. We live near Orlando, so we may opt to drive over day of, but we will see as we get closer.

Tonight is the game So far I havnt found it listed on our guide. GRR!! Hopefully one of the ESPN stations that said To be announced will be carrying it. I will check soon.

Janel just called me and said she's at the Cardinal stadium enjoying the pregame show. Most of her family is there and it's sounds like their seats are in row 12 in the corner right next to where the players will come out onto the field!

Greg and Kathy, good luck to your Ducks and thanks a ton for the snow coming my way tonight. DD just might have a 4 day weekend if we get enough tonight. She was sick yesterday and so couldn't go to school today.

I'm up for doing the scrap booking trade! I'm just now starting to get into scrap booking, so I don't know too much about it.

Kathy, I didn't get to get off the ship in Freeport, DH was too sick and didn't want to get off the ship. I'm kinda sad that we didn't, but we had a lot of fun on the ship also. Also, Feast meetings start again on next Wednesday, I think I might actually be ready to start planning again.

Shaping up to have a busy week this week. Hopefully things will settle down a little in February, but I am really doubting it. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!!

That is awesome congrats on doing the race a friend of mine from my job did it actually a few. I work at a gym in our area and a few people were prepping for it and I heard amazing things about it she is going to do the princess one next yr and invited me I havent completely decided if i am going to or not but i may think about it.

Hey Greg, if you are going to make it snow, will you please make it snow enough to get a 2 hour delay? lol Although it's supposed to snow and blow and be nasty all day so they might get out early and have a 2 hour delay in the morning.


Nothing going on today as DD was so nice and shared her sickness with mommy... Wonder what the chances of DS not getting it are... At least my dishes are done and the mountain of laundry isn't unbearable today, so maybe I can afford a day off.

Dreams83, I haven't even bought my first album yet. I was kinda planning on buying my first one on the ship... I was going to do DH and I's last cruise, but he refuses to let me get the pics printed off... something about my Christmas gift...

WOW that was a lot of posting sinxce yesterday.
GOOD JOB !!!

Congrats on the race, glad you had a good time Terry and I iwll be watching for the photo.


Greg we may of lost the game but i still think the Ducks did one heck of a job! All odds said they would not even score and loose by a huge amount. That of course didnt happen.
I wont complain they lost due to 2 bad ref calls but if they showed you the replays like we saw, they did get 2 really bad calls which made it possible for the other team to score. One he was in bounds and they said he wasnt so they lost the ball, the other was when the guy went down and then stopped thinking the whistle blew because he was down then hearing everyone yell he kept running. He was down and should have ended the play.

I know thats the breaks of the game but still not fair. I also saw one call against the other team that wasnt correct either. I understand how they can call it wrong but once its reviewed I dont understand how they wont correct it sometimes. That happens alot i know.
Many times i saw Auburns #90 pull face masks to get the guys down where they never caught it, plus the one guy knee'd the guy.

I also wouldnt want to win under those circumstances if it were reversed.
But over all I think the Ducks really shocked them all by playing so well against them.
We'll get'em next year!!!


Looks like we have a warming front coming tomorrow and looks like our snow tonight may just be a few flurries then be gone immediately. Highs in the 50's the rest of the week and 40's at night so we have escaped the storm.

Minnie is whimper in the other room, Pixie is probably on the bed where minnie cant get up so I have to go and take care of it. I swear my dogs are worse than kids sometimes!! Pixie does it on purpose!!

The way it's going, it's going to be at LEAST a 2 hour delay tomorrow. Supposedly we are getting the blizzard of the century here. Last time it snowed like this with these conditions was in the 1860's... I'm good though, we have the gas station and a small grocery store with in walking distance. Might cancel the last family Christmas we have on the 15th though.

Denise, are you getting hit hard also?

STILL snowing here. The kids and I and my girlfriend went out to play in it though. Crossing fingers for a 2 hour delay for tomorrow though! No early dismissal today either, which was rather shocking considering how nasty the roads are around here.

we had snow but we didnt have school some schools are closed tomarrow but the roads seem fine im thinking its cause its colder tomarrow then it was today. I am ready for some warm weather. Boo to cold weather

Good morning everyone,
well we didnt get any snow or sleet that was predicted, it all hit up north of us. But our warming trend has come so it will be 50 today so anything that is on the ground will melt this morning.

I was looking forward to a little white stuff. Sometimes down in the valley we can go 4 0r 5 years and never see a snow flakes, so its a treat to get a little. NOT a lot though

I really dont have anything to do today accept read the paper and play on the computer and of course take care of the pups.

I just heard an interesting fact on TV.
Right now there is snow in every state accept Florida.
Even Hawaii has it in the mountains.
