Hi Greg, well your probably to blame for this but I am sitting here watching it snow like crazy!! Suppose to be 40% chance of rain/snow showers today. So far all snow and it is now sticking. Hope it sticks enough for the dogs to play in today. They love the snow. Minnie had white polka dots on her when I took her out this morning. She looks so cute starring out the window trying to figure out what that white stuff is

Today is laundry day so soon I will be happily carrying across the way to the rec room for drying clothes. Great way to spend my sunday huh

Hi Everyone,

I sent woogal all our information and then forgot to include my sign-on name for this site. LOL

We're very excited about this cruise and who woulda thought I would be. We have been on 7 cruises prior to this one and it started out like this... 3 day, 5 day, 7 day, 12 day, 15 day, then dropped to 7 day and another 7 day. Now a 4 night. But the kicker this time is with all the newbies in our group plus all the family members going, it's very affordable and it'll be a great cruise and time together.

And it's a Disney cruise. So far, I've found Celebrity and Disney to be among the best crusing experiences hubby and I've had to date. I love the family atmosphere and overall experience that is on this particular company to be a HUGE added bonus.

I mentioned to woogal about the possiblility or feasability of adding a SE to the already full FE that is popular on this site. An SE is simply a sticker exchange. I explained to woogal that I and many in our group do scrapbooking and I asked her if it could be possible to have a one time SE for those that wanted to participate. What are your thoughts? Or am I delving into something that would just be a way too much added expense?

my last cruise we did something similar to what your proposing. Each person who wanted to participate made a page for a scrapbook for each of the other peolel in the group, only 7 or 8 of us. Each person picked a theme for their page such as Sailaway party, pirate party, Welcome aboard,ports of call, shows we saw, pool fun, trivia , FE's etc. That way there were no duplicates.
They made up one master page for you to see and then gave you everything to make the page. Others actually made the page for you.
It was a lot of fun. Just ask who does scrapbooking here and then see if they are interested. I know Morgan and I both do. I'm sure there are others too.

I loved it.

Sounds like fun to me! Especially since I'm going to be doing 2 scrap books, one for my family and one for MIL... I'm just getting into the whole scrapbooking thing, but I'm up to try anything! Just let me know what we are going to be doing. There are TONS of Disney things at our local Jo Ann Fabric store, so I could go pick up whatever.

Hope everyone is having a Happy Sunday. Enjoyed seeing the amazing pictures posted by some of you. Was wondering if there has been a facebook page created for this trip yet. I know when we went on a 7day cruise in october someone created a notsoscary facebook page for the people in our boards so we can keep up here and there.

Maybe we can also do a meet and greet somewhere before we board so we can all get to know each other. I know our last trip some met at a resterant and some met at their hotel pool. Really excited to meet everyone. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

No FB page that i know of. I have one for my last cruise and i still keep in touch with people there. Its private so only thos eof us who took the cruise can view it.

Usually anybody who stays in the same hotel will meet up or if some are going to WDW before the cruise they try to meet up. Many of the Cocoa beach hotels are walking distance from each other which is nice for a meet.
We always have a meet on board the first day for everyone to meet up although it seems we all find each other in the terminal before we even board.
Usually Mutt designs a siort that people have the option of buying on line so we match up and can find each other the first day too.

We also have a ladies only meet usually around the adult pool area one day. All tha tinfo will come out in the cruise mates list when Shell sends it out. We add to it throughout the months to come but before the cruise everything will have a place and time.

ALL ideas and suggestions are GREAT!! So everyone speak up with all your ideas. It really adds to the cruise to have these extra fun things to look forward to.

I am Christine and will be traveling with DH Joey. This will be our 6th and 7th Disney cruise (going on our 5th in two weeks.) I have been on RCCL twice, the most recent one being the Oasis on November.

Just the stickers and some had cut our shapes of perhaps an anchor, the ship or a pirates sillouette for putting on the page. They left room for people to add their own photos.
I think I have a couple of pictures f the pages they made. I will go look and be back soon.

Oj, here are what my pages looked like that were given to me or some of them anyway. You can see how some are complete accept the picture i needed to add, others have extra stickers and cut out laying beside them.
There are more stickers than shown in the photos.

When we met to exchange what we had made we all had one page for each person so we all got one of every design that was there. Those that were left for you to finish up had written instructions on how you could finish it and a small photo showing a completed page.

Feel free to give ideas on how to improve on this anybody! We decided to do this right before the cruise so we didnt have alot of time for details.

Who else is interested in Scrapbooking here?? Speak up.

We can ask as new people join to. It may be large group by the time we set sail.

Hope the photos help some for you to understand what I was trying to say.

Nice pics Morgan.
Been to both of those places before. So that berings back memories. I liked Freeport accept that you have to ride for 20 minutes or longer to get anywhere there, including shopping. It was the first port I was ever at on my first cruise. It was decorated up for Christmas around the shopping area which made it exra fun.

Thanks Kathy for providing a sample of our scrapbook pages. It gave me a very concrete idea of what it would look like. I'm a visual person and will do much better if I can see a sample than to imagine it in my head.

I wrote to woogal about the FE. As I said to her, this is our first cruise to be able to participate in it. Our first Disney cruise, we didn't discover the disboards until about a month before we sailed so we didn't know anything really about them. When we were on the ship, we discovered all these stateroom doors decorated so cute and initially we didn't know what or why the doors were that way until we had that "aha" moment. Then we got excited for the people who were doing it. (and wished we were doing it too). LOL We really realized also at that time that we just wouldn't have been able to have swung into action with so little time left before we left.

About the scrapbooking exchange, I think it's a great idea and I would love, love, love to have something in place for it on this cruise IF we can get enough people who would like to do it as well. I'm good for either doing just stickers or working on a sample page and include supplies w/stickers, etc. I also think that could be something we could work on in the next coming weeks.

My daughter Angela (ajaysmom825), DIL Ahlam (deams83), and I are into scrapbooking so we're definitely on board (hehe) for this kind of thing.

As far as the cruise, we're super excited about it in all aspects. We have in our group 5 people who have never cruised before (well, 6 if you include Drew who will be 1 at time of sailing), and the fact that we have basically two family groups should make for an awesome time together. LOL
