Afternoon:

Well week one has come to a close. Things are going well....altho Izzy is keeping me very busy. She is a real little sweetie tho....Daycare is going well....I had her at my office yesterday and she got her flu shot. So she is all set.

I cant belive that we are just about 1 year out....

Sue and I are planning a cruise on Allure of the sea...we are going March 6th...so Christine, you have to let me know how Oasis was. looking forward to that cruise.

Nothing much else is going on. worked today so when Izzy gets up we are going grocery shopping. and thats my exciting plans for the rest of the day.

I don't know why I am subscribed to this thread, I think Bobby was originally going on this cruise and wanted me to go with him, then changed, maybe that's why. But it seems all my past fellow cruisers are here.

Nice interview with your BIL but he didnt say hello to me?? Whats up with that??

Saw the score last night on the news but also saw the injuries. Hope the guy who got knocked out is ok. Didnt catch his name but will watch news tonight to get an update. He really got hit hard and twisted hsi neck badly from what I saw.

Had a good visit with mom and mil and pups did well at the sitter too. So accept for the rain it was a good weekend.

Got the first coat of paint on the girls room Looking good, may not need a second coat. Can'y wait to get the princess boarder up, it will make the room look great. Got the headboards on order, so now I just need to get thew bedding, and hang the curtains. Then on to the boys room They have colored on the ceiling(thank you bunk beds) so time to repaint.
Beautiful fall weekend in store for us this weekend. Hope to spend so time outside enjoying the weather.
Thinking of making another trip to Haiti late November. I volunteer, this will be my third trip down. Hope to see some progress.

Hope you will take pictures to share with us when your all done. It sounds like it will be awesome when your all done.

We went to an Oktoberfest celebration in Minneapolis tonight. It made me think about Biergarten. We had a great time doing the chicken dance and polka-ing all evening. The other couple we went with loves WDW too, so we were comparing trip stories. My friend even told me she took a Disney Cruise with her family when she was in college. She loved it and got me even more excited.

Hope everyone is set to enjoy their weekend.

sounds like you had a great time.

I use to do the chicken dance with the grandkids. I loved it.
They actually did it on deck 90 by the family pool a couple of cruises we went on. Of course Donald was leading the group.

Well, I may venture out to my first non-dcl cruise. A friend of mine has asked about me and her going together on a cruise out of galveston. Has anyone been on Carnival Ecstasy? I really am not up to carnival but she wants to go and she cannot swing RC. Any info would be great on this ship!

A couple of the other players (Duck players) were really shook up by their actions and faces. One guy actually looked like he had tears he was so scared for the injured guy.

The other injury was a knee i think? Anyway it looked really bad, hoping he is ok today.

Sorry, we have only been On the Carnival Glory. Ship was beautiful but the rest of the cruise was terrible as far as the crew and events go. Ports were great. Food was great too. Too much of a party ship for me. But that was the Glory, dont know about the Ectasy.

We sailed on the Ecstasy several years ago and had a fun time. We went with several of our friends and neighbors. Carnival tends to be more neon lights and bright colors then most cruise lines. Like Kathy says....they're more of a party ship.

We'd sail with Carnival again....as long as the price was right.

Just heard the less injured player was a shoulder not a leg injury and he is fine.

The worst player is still in the hospital but for observation only at this time. He is doing great. No serious injury but if you see the video look at how his neck snaps, no wonder he was unconscious.

I am just happy everyone is ok.

I just read on Monday October 18th at noon EDT time Disney cruise line will be announcing the itenary of The Fantasy, video from Germany about both ships being build, changes at Castaway Cay too.


I am not to excited about the Fantasy's itenary because I think it will be the same as the Magic has now, but i am hoping for a new port or two now and then on a special cruise at least.

But would love to see some of the finished things on CC.
Anyway on the 28th we should all learn a few things about a few things, at least i hope we will.

Just thought I would share that date and time with everyone. It will be pod cast and on facebook and twitter too.

I can't believe I was the last and first to post.

Well its a cool, dark ,cloudy morning here. Not too cold, around 50.

Not much else happening here, but I am still dropping by to say hello.
Now lets see everyone else drop by too.

Just because you might think you have nothing to say, dont let that stop you from posting .
I never have much to say but can whip out 3 or 4 paragraph easily. My mouth never seems to stop so my fingers follow along even if it makes no sense.
