Greg, as long as the stitches are truly ready to come out, it shouldnt be painful. Just a quick little tug and BINGO its out!! Just dont look at what the doctor is doing and it will be much better.

I'm just worried about the stitches that are in the palm of my hand. It's very sensitive and the stitches and sutchers are quite large, so I'll probably feel it!

I just got Brayden and Holly down for their naps....I think maybe I'll take one myself.

Evening all:

We actually had a really nice day here also. I got off work at noon today, hung around at work and had lunch then left....sunny and in the mid 30's and it felt pretty darn nice. I got home and took a nice nap and watched some tv then cleaned up in the kitchen some, cooked dinner and now playing around on here. I have to work saturday till noon then going out and looking for furniture for the family room.....I am really getting tired of looking for furniutre....I just never thought it would be this hard.....I would love to get it before summer gets here

Nothing else going on here, gonna just watch some tv and then off to bed for another fun filled day at work tomorrow......gee I cant wait

Watched the ships video, One of the ladies I work with her son and family were on the wonder....they didnt get to go to castaway on saturday....this was their frist cruise....I felt bad that they missed it. but they said they still had a good time and want to go again.

I've asked her 3 times how her knee is doing and if she's going to Colorado next week and I haven't gotten an answer on either?

Maybe those bifocals just aren't strong enough and she really is seeing lines in between everything?

gosh watching these olymipics is really making me want to go on the Disney Cruise to Vancouver. I might have to look into it.

OUCH!!! I didnt know the stitches were in the palm of your hand. That is tender. I dont think it should be real painful, maybe tender?? So alittle painful perhaps? I prefer to think NO pain!!

Greg i have asked Denise about her knee too but she didnt answer me either. I think we should all go together and get her trifocals for Christmas this year. She is just concentrating on seeing her grand daughter so she doesnt notice anything else.

Well I have been up since 2 a.m.
Thats when Greg made his first run for the bathroom and has been living in ever since. I sure hope I dont catch what ever he has

He has just fallen asleep so hopefully that will help.
When he wakes up I need to get something down him so his blood sugar doesnt get too low. Even if he looses it again, he will retain some of it.

So it will be a long fun day around here today!!

Sorry to hear Greg isn't feeling well. I hope your able to keep something in him today, so his blood sugar stays up.

Not much going on today. I bought tickets to go see Michael Bolton in concert on April 12 after we get back from our cruise. Janel really likes his music.

Looks like we're in for another gorgeous day today. It got so warm in the house yesterday that I turned the furnace off and forgot to turn it back on last night.

We woke up this morning to get the kids off to school and the temp. inside the house was only 60 degrees!

The kids got dressed and ready for school in record time though!

My knee was feeling much better the majority of the week, now its starting acting up again. so I have been limping around here again and I am not really happy about it.........since I am leaving tuesday for colorado......(2nd part of your question) but thank you for asking and sorry for not answering you...... Sorry to hear your knee is acting up again. Is there anything other then the cortisone shots to help it?

We hope you enjoy your time in Colorado. If their weather is anything like ours it should be great!

Kathy - Sorry to hear that Greg is still sick but i know you are taking good care of him!

No swim meet this weekend but a busy one nonetheless. Today Emily has 3 hours of dance, Lizzie has a private dance lesson for her solo, I'm heading to the gym, Emily has a playdate this afternoon with 2 friends, I'm heading to the Pitt-Villanova hoops game tomorrow and we are watching the snow finally start to melt a bit as the temps have gotten into the upper 30s the last couple of days with lots of sunshine. Now the bad news is another storm is coming and originally was predicated to dump another six inches of snow but now they are saying it may come in as "mixed" precipitation - which is even worse . Maybe it can just pass us by. Please.

sounds very busy at your place this weekend. I iwll keep fingers crossed the new storm will just drizzle on you, nothing to add to what you already have.

We got down to 30 last night, only 33 right now. Very foggy too.

Greg is still sick, so he must have picked up something?
I was hoping he just had something bad to eat but I dont believe that to be the case. I made some jello for him today and hope he will eat it. Soup stayed down yesterday so may give that a try again today

Hello everyone.

Just got back from Nicole's basketball game. She really did good making 16 points! Her team won!

Chayce has been up at the resort snow boarding since school got out yesterday. I think he'd live up there if we'd let him.

Not much else going on today. I'm kinda wishing I could go in and take a power nap, but I know the kids will never let me sleep.

I hope Greg gets to feeling better soon.

Nicole is on cloud 9 today!

Yeah, our teenager can eat like there's no tomorrow, but he knows if he wants to do or buy something he has to earn the money himself. (I know I'm a mean dad)

Ya we were terrible too. When they wanted something extra we always told then the cars needed to be washed, waxed,vacuumed or the lawn needs mowing or shrubs to be trimmed, garden some extra weeding, gutter cleaned. There was always something.

At least that way we knew if they really want it bad enough they will work for it and take better care of the item.

They would grip and complain but now that 2 of them have kids, guess what they do when the kids want extra money Mom and dad wernt so mean and selfish as they thought

Not much going on here today. Both Nicole and Holly woke up sick, so I'm staying home with them while Janel takes the other kids to church. I think I maybe trying to come down with something myself?

I'm getting a little excited....another 23 hours and I get my stitches out!

I'm planning on taking a hydrocodone 2 hours before I go in, because I tell this isn't going to be pleasant.

Maybe you can request some lidocane cream to rub on it before he takes them out. It only takes a couple of minutes to numb things and will wear off in 5 minutes. I use it for changing out my g-tube and it really helps.

Let me know how it goes. I know it is always a relief to have them out. Then you know your healing up ok.

Sun is out but chilly here still.

Need to figure out a light dinner for Greg.
