Wow, very slow here today.....I dont understand that....I mean we only have 650 days until this trip......lets go people and see how may threads we can get before we leave.

Yeah, we had construction guys here refinishing our hard wood floors in the kitchen, dinning room and hallway, so I took the kids up to our condo in Yellowstone so they wouldn't get in the way.

I think your rain is coming my way. The weatherman says its suppose to start snowing on Monday.

Greg I have buckets of water to send your way and I'm sure it will be snow when it gets to you.

Tomorrow will be even worse because of the wind storm suppose to blow through.

It rained so hard from noon until 6:45 Minnie wouldnt even go out to go to the bathroom. She waited until she was bursting then made a run for it

For some reason we have 5 people pulled in here tonight. That is rare this time of the year. I feel like it's a convention here tonight.

Our wind storm will soon be here but for now we still have tons of rain.


If there is anyone here who has never been to Nassau and are curious about an excursion, please ask if you have questions.
I think we have been 10 times, and have done many excursions there. I might be able to help answer a few questions.

Its been a crazy weekend here.

Drove into Chicago to see my dad this morning, then when I got home I had to clean out my family room for the painters on saturday...so my son came over and helped me move things out...had dinner and now on the computer...why dosnt time go this fast when your at work???? the day can drag on and on....

Sorry, I've been trying to limit how much I use my hands to see if that will ease the pain a little.

Put a pencil in your mouth and tap the keyboard. We will forgive some spelling errors. Or try the toes? I have seen people type
with their toes before. Surely you have some hidden typing talents???


Sorry to hear your not improving. hope you find some kind of pain releif soon that works for you.

My old desk top computer had a program that as you spoke it would type what you said. It didnt cost much and was fun to play around with. It takes a bit to set it up. You must read sentences they give you for it to recognise your voice and words. It was really accurate if you spoke slowly and clearly.

You might give that a try, it couldnt hurt???

Well I didnt blow away in the wind storm last night, but it was some big gusts all night long.
The coast is still getting high winds and they will move inward to us over the next 24 hours. One gust on the coast yesterday was 84 MPH. Thats more than a cat 1 hurricane.

I will call my son today to see if they lost power or not.

Well the pups wouldnt let Greg out of their sight last night after he got home. They followed him everywhere including bumping the bathroom door open. They even got half his dinner due to sad puppy eyes looking up at him.

Tonight Pixie will get washed up pretty good before going in tomorrow for surgery. Plus no food after 8 p.m., just water. She is a breakfast eater so she will be an unhappy girl tomorrow morning, when there's no food in her bowl. Of course she will be even more unhappy when she realises she is at the Vets office again.

At least she goes early and then spends the entire day. I will be a nervous mom tomorrow.

Well it is another quiet day today. I hope some people drop by here today.

Yeah, I've been looking into those voice recognition programs. Almost all of my work is done on a computer, so I need to find something to help me continue working.

I'm going to see another doctor that specializes in hands/arms in a couple of weeks....I'm not ready to give up yet.

I hope Pixie's surgery goes well tomorrow!

Good for you! NEVER GIVE UP!!
There are many specialists out there and each one has his own ideas about what to do or not do for your problem. Just keep going until you find one that tries something that helps.
There is always a new Dr. to get an opinion from.

I have found sometimes they dont want to go against the last doctors disgnosis or treatment. So sometimes it's nice to not send your records along until after he examins you and gives his opinion.

Good luck with the voice recognition programs. They to take some work, but they can really help you. We did it just for the fun of it.

Happy Monday folks

Still busy busy around here. I have been meaning to post pics forever but haven't gotten things uploaded to Photobucket yet. I have a lot of catching up to do with my pix - getting some prints, making some photo books, etc. It's like a part time job.

Emily's birthday party was fun but exhausting. 18 five and six year olds bowling and eating cake. You can only imagine.

Lizzie and I are heading to WDW on Friday for a daddy-daughter weekend. Looking very forward to it - and to the warmer weather.

Lots of new business coming in these days which is great so long as I figure out a way to manage it all.

Well I have carpet people coming tomorrow nite for an estimate on my family room about getting new carpet....so will see how that goes.....

went to see my doctor last week...my knee has been really acting up and painful....took an xray and not to much showed up on that....but today I am in such pain.....this really needs to clear up.....I'm to young to be getting this old...

Greg, hope your wrists feel better.....we need to pick on someone....!!

good luck with the estimate for carpeting. It will depend on they style and brand what it will cost. Hope you get a good estimate. New carpeting makes the entire room look new again

will update you tomorrow after pixie get out of surgery. I know one fact for sure.
When Pixie gets to go for a ride in the morning and Minnie doesnt Minnie will be yapping and bouncing off the walls here for a couple of hours. She will not be a happy doggie. Then when Pixie comes home in the evening Minnie will want to jump on her to play and Pixie wont want anything to do with her and that will upset Minnie again. It will be a very interesting day
