no, I havent started packing yet......however, I am wondering what to pack for a 4 day cruise.....do they have formal nite? do I pack dress clothes or not.....see the obsessing has begun!!!
I thought our count for the trip was something like 655...I'm gonnna have to re-count

Wow! This cruise you're planning sure sounds good to me! Never been on a back to back before. Greg may not think it's so great though..he's kinda out on Disney right now We went three times in 2009, so now he's banning it for awhile, but maybe he'll agree to 2011! That's far enough away. We would probably only do the 4 day, then stay several days at Disney afterwards or before. Wyatt will be 5 then...times sure does fly by!

Well Pixies appt didnt go so good. It seems she has a very agressive type of tumor. It will be removed next tuesday. We will know friday if it is cancer or not. Dr. will remove some good tissue around it in case of cancer. So she will have a rather large incision. It is right in the tendons of her front leg so its going to be very painful recovery for her.

For now he said the tissue is they type that itches so we have pills for that.

Keeping fingers crossed for good test results.


We actually had some sun today It didnt last long but it was nice while it lasted. Now its back to rain.

From what I've read the short cruise aren't as dressy as the 7-night. I will probably wear just a cocktail dress on the 4-night and might not even get dressed up for the 2nd one

Wow, I cant belive that Wyatt will be 5 if you come along....he was such a good boy at dinner the few night he ate with you. I think that Greg with our coaxing may come along.....I'm just doing the 4 day. but looking forward to seeing the new ship.

lvstitch- thanks! My step-daughter is the one who is hurt the most, I just wish her mom would wake up and realize that (she has an addiction).

637 days! woot woot - I cannot wait. I've never been to CC and really looking forward to being on the Dream.

Happy almost Friday- tomorrow is a furlough day for me, hopefully it doesn't rain too much and I can get some outside things done while the kids are at school.

Happy friday everyone

Melissa, you'll love CC. Many just go to the family beach and never explore the rest of the island. So be sure to walk the sidewalk farther sometime during the day to check out the Grouper Game room, the little shops with handmade things for sale from locals.

We love to rent bikes and ride both bike paths for a good view of the island.
One path has an observation tower you can go up and look over the entire island. Makes for some good photos. If you do that be sure and look down around the ground from the tower. Disney has some cute whimsical things for you to see there too. Many people get so involved looking out for the view they dont look down, so they miss them.

Greg has gone to his moms for the weekend to work on the porch he built her, so its me and the pups this weekend. Hope they sleep alot. I am feeling lazy today, of course I am always feeling lazy


Where is my cruise son at????
He is suppose to be posting everyday and he isnt .

Maybe the monkeys got the best of him lately or Shell has him back in the dog house again and wont let him out to post

Sorry to hear about Pixie....I'll put a call in to St. Francis and we'll get things squared away for the pup so everything works out well.

I'm not sure that any of us have been on CC at this point. At least not the new and improved island, that is. I guess they're making some pretty big changes to accomodate the new ships and the volume of visitors but I'm not sure when they'll be finished with these changes.

Anyone have info on that?

Gee whiz that was easy, I yell and my son appears

I have been to CC mutt,last november and Jeff has been too.

i saw new cabanas being built where the end of the teen beach use to be.There are new tram stop buildings being built.
I saw a double slde being installed near the end of the teen beach closest to the main beach area. It will no longer be the teen beach.

They are moving the grouper game room and have already moved the bike rental place but it may be temporary until they finish remodeling the place.
Lots of construction near the dock too but you cant ell what it will be yet.

Thisis really hard to see butif youlook on the left side way to the far back you can see a few roofs. Those are cabanas.Itsa ctually a tiny roof to the left of the larger roof you see. Its in the trees and hard to see.

Here is the slide being installed.

This is across from where you dock. They are laying large pipes underground, but I dont know why?

Afternoon:

Actually I really dont care much what improvements they are making at castaway.....I just want to lay in a hammock with a drink in my and looking out at the sea.......ahhhhhhhh now thats all I need........and I cant wait!!!!

Well I have painters coming next Saturday....they are going to paint my family room & bathroom thats in the family room....my son thinks its a little outdated....so he got me on a roll to do this.....right now its 2 tone with a border top half beigh and bottom hunter green with a wolf border....I like it but we are now going to pull off the border and do one color which I havent fully decided upon yet....going to get paint samples tonite. Then I am also having my son's empty bedroom painted. When he lived there, he painted 3 walls a light blue and the one a really dark royal blue....I never liked the dark blue...but it was "his" room but thats getting a change now to...

Then I get to buy new family room furniture so I am looking forward to that....but then that will lead into getting new carpeting for that room too....
Oh well its only money!!!

Denise can get into the hamock just fine.
But after she has Pablo bring her 5 or 6 Bahama Mamas or other tropical beverages she wont be able to get out of the hammock Thats when the fun begins and the cameras come out!!

yes, it takes a lot of coordination and dexterity.......which I really dont have....add to that...a drink or two and forget it!!!! But I have to say, even tho I almost fell out.....with a drink in my hand.....I did not spill a drop of that drink! I think that counts for something....not exactly sure what that something is.....but something none the less!!

Sue on the other hand.....not sure what the heck happended or how she fell off the hammock....all I know is she was on it on minute and then under it....and I didnt have my camera ready. But it was really funny.

Oh well.....better go...have to get up for work tomorrow.
