Hello to all the new cruisers and those who've been on here for awhile. I was just curious if anyone has heard from Woogal about the FE's? I have a 10 year old daughter that keeps asking me everyday are we doing it? We're so much looking forward to this trip. First time we've been on a big vacation with just the 5 of us. It's always so easy to have plenty of guests when you go to WDW, but we wanted this one to be just for us. Looking forward to keeping up with everyone and hopefully we'll have a meet on board.

We will be doing the FE's. The bananaheads always do.:goodvibes
Of course it will be awhile before we will know exactly how many will be particiapting because the cruise is so far away still.

When the cruisemates list is sent out, if Shell does as she has in the past each person on it will have something by their names to say if they are participating. As long as you have sent your information to Shell (woogal) or to me to forward to her then you'll be on the list ok. If you havnt done it yet, then go for it right now.:thumbsup2

We have always had a meet the first afternoon so I am sure we will this cruise too. I am not sure exactly where on the Dream would be a good place to meet. On the other ships we have used the Promenade lounge. We will figure out something.:goodvibes

So tell your daughter not to worry. We will have all the fun things promised.:cool1:

A few places I would suggest:
  • Outlook (top of middle stack, nice big and quiet since not many people go there yet)
  • District Lounge (was the Promenade, and like it can be loud and busy)
  • Vista Cafe (Deck 4 midship across from Shutters, nice but can also be noisy and busy)

Outlook is the one place I haven't seen pictures of yet. Is it open for everyone or only special events?

They have an Outlook Cafe on the Wonder, it was my favorite place on the entire ship. I was hoping Outlook was set up the same.

Afternoon,

Just a quick hello.....its 60 out today, but overcast and misty out.....oh well
spring is getting closer:woohoo:

There is at least one pic on the DCL site and probably more on the passporter site.

Yes, it is open for all unless reserved for a party. It is not a Cafe, more like a private room (maybe 50 standing people) with a bar. There was a piano in the corner if needed. One can access it it by one midship elevator or one stairwell from deck 12 (Deck 13 is the Teen Edge. Outlook is above that on Deck 14 so, I would recommend the elevator.

Outlook looks forward from Deck 14, The view is a little blocked as the front buildings towers get in the way and the side walls block the side views, still a nice quiet place to go sit relax and see the view.

Found them thanks. I had seen them before just didn't realize what they were. Yeah it's nothing like the Wonder, too bad.

I have to say I feel like SUCH a slacker! Everyone is so planned and I have not really got anything rolling out! I think I will start tomorrow by trying to decide our reservations and possibly next month by your park hoppers for when we go to Disney after the cruise.

I have been so busy planning the wedding that I totally forgot to be on my A game for the "Disneymoon" lol

Lisa, the only thing I have done is book the cruises, lol. DM now wants a couple of park days, so have to look at hotels for Tuesday/Wednesday at WDW, Dinning plan?, tickets, transport, FE projects for three cruises, oh my! Oh yeah, and airfare to get to Florida.

Just checking in and catching up. We had a gorgeous day here in the Boston area yesterday....but last night WHOA! Strong winds and rain but short lived. I'm noticing this morning seems windy too...I guess it's March coming in like a lion a little early :goodvibes

I have such a busy spring/summer that I'm hoping all the activity helps October seem not so far away. We have a trip to Seattle next week, Passover in April, a big wedding end of May, a trip to the Grand Canyon in June, another big wedding in July..August is quiet right now..Sept are the High Holy days which means lots of family to feed  and then YAY the DREAM cruise.
So I have a very busy calendar and hate to push through to October because that means facing another cold winter after the cruise but still I can't wait.

We just booked!!!! This will be our 5th cruise on DCL (our 6th will be the Mexican Riveria one in January 2012). We are so excited and can't wait!!

Haven't been on in a couple weeks as I've had sick kids and then was sick myself, but we are all better now and so I thought I'd check in... Hope everyone is doing well! I'm going to go back and read from the last time I was on here. :goodvibes

Went to the indoor water park last night with the kids and DH. We had a ball! If I didn't think too much, I could almost pretend it was October already!:rotfl: Kids had sooo much fun swimming and riding the water slides and pretending we were on vacation. I'll post pics of them at the water park later.

Have a great weekend everyone!:banana::banana::banana:
