We're staying in a Family Oceanview with Veranda for the 2nd one and just an Oceanview with Veranda the first time (6A for 2nd and 5 something the 1st). We did this backwards. I should have booked both the other day and not done the Family one for the 2nd cruise. For three days, I just didn't want to spend the extra for the Family room (as it's only three of us - would rather spend the money doing things on the cruise), 3 day cruise we're paying cash for, 4 day on points. The room we have for the 4 day isn't available for the 3 day and the only other option that could have left us in the same room wasn't a room we wanted. I'm the seasick person of the family and prefer as close to the middle of the boat as I can get. I could have lowered the category for the points cruise, but I would have had to pay another $95 to do so and I just hate to do that if I don't need to.

Honestly, the way I pack, it's not a big deal for us (I pack all three in each suitcase for X number of days so we only have to open one suitcase at a time), so I'm going to pack accordingly. I'm hoping too that DCL will see that we're not in the same room and maybe give us some extra Pixie Dust and fix it for us. A girl can hope!!!! :)

Morning everyone

It's been cold her all weekend...ok cold for Vegas :teeth: It was only in the 30s this morning but will get up to the 60s by the afternoon. Although we are expecting snow on Sunday.

Not much else going on, had a great 4 day weekend, so hard going back to work after that.

eveing all......so the question of the day......is Winter ever going to end????

nothing much going on here....just workin and thats about it.

stay warm

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

We had awesome weather here yesterday - sunny and 70's. Today has been gray and 50s. I'm ready for Spring!!! Although, North Carolina usually skips Spring and heads straight to Summer and I'm not quite ready for the heat!

Hope everyone had a great day!

Spring is around the corner, right? I keep thinking April is when the grass turns green, the flowering trees begin to bud, and the weather does inch up. And everyday is one day closer. :cool1:

Which ultimately means The CRUISE is also that much closer, too!! :woohoo:

Life is good. Can hardly wait.

We were teased with fine weather on Friday, then snow on Saturday. It has been bitterly cold since, most of our winter has been nose freezing cold, no breaks for warmth at all.

Good morning all,

well as you are all waiting and talking about spring and summer we are going to get hit with our first accumulation of snow this year. We had showers on 2 days but it never stuck.
Now we have a storm from Canada meeting a storm from Alaska and its heading our way.

It is 100 miles north of us and snowing like crazy. It will hit us just about dinner time tonight. They say up to 8 inches and it will snow until saturday. The hills around me they expect 16 inches or more.:sad2:
Our lows will be in the teens for a few nights too.

Can I join you guys for dreaming of summer, I am going to need it;)

If I dont post this weekend it means we have lost power. I am way out in the country with the cows, horses and sheep. So when power goes out we are the last to get it back.

Have a good day everyone,

Kathy

Well, this morning it was in the low 50 degrees, calm, sunny, no rain in the forecast for the day with highs in the low 60s. Our fruit trees are either budding, flowering or producing citrus (we have 28 fruits trees in our front/backyards).

The Pom puppies went out with me to pick up the paper and had a ball running around the front yard. While our bigger dog checked all the pmail left by the other dogs that walk by. A great normal Northern California morning.

Sorry, just had to post a non-snow related item at least once. And as nice as it was this morning, I would still rather be on Disney Cruise.....

Morning all,

Its snowing here right now. I love watching it come down.
This is our first and probably last accumutaion of snow this year.:goodvibes
Bad thing is tonight everyone will freeze and the roads will be icy tomorrow. Low 16 tonight.:sad2:

Love all the doggie pictures you guys have been posting.

Going to take the dogs out to play in the snow in a few minutes.
I will try and take some photos and share them with everyone.

Morning all,

IGoing to take the dogs out to play in the snow in a few minutes.

I know our Poms would love to dig in the snow.. they enjoy digging in my garden and the blankets on the bed. Sabrina (the Italian Greyhound) would definitely NOT like the snow or cold. She buries herself under blankets in the middle of summer to keep warm, but she feels nice and warm next to us in bed during the winter (kinda like our own personal bed warmer).

Well we had a good play in the snow. The dogs were so excited and ran everywhere jumping on each other. I threw a snow ball and Pixie went to catch it but it disappeared when i hit the ground. She couldnt figure that out.

My dogs love to be under their blankets too. Especially Minnie. She loves the heat. She will lay on a hot sidewalk in the sunlight until she cant stand it anymore. She gets up to cool off, has a drink then heads right back to the sun again.:lmao:
Minnie is short haired, half Boston Terrier and half Boxer. She is so out of proportion its funny. She is a rescue dog having been badly abuse.

Pixie's dad was a grey hound, her mom a golden lab. We rescued her too from living in filth. Got her medicaly fixed up and she is a great dog now.

Later I will share a photo of them like the rest of you have done with your dogs.

The sun is out and the snow is melting now. They say more to come tonight.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Kathy

well we are supposed to get another few inches of snow tonite and tomorrow....I was really hoping we would get snow this weekend....I kinda was missing all that mess:rolleyes1 :scared1:

Hi Denise,
Our snow came this morning and left by noon. Tomorrow is suppose to be ice.

16 for our low tonight.
Jack still looks great for his age.:thumbsup2

Here are a few photos of my dogs.

First is Minnie. She thinks she is a person and often sits up straight as she can on the couch or chair like we do.:lmao:

Here she is standing up on the couch in the RV. You can see she is out of proportion and has no butt on her.
