Morning all,

Dont worry if your doing the 3 or 4 day or the B to B cruise here. Shell (woogal) is making a cruisemates list of everyone here and I know she is very good at making the list. So I know she will have it marked who is doing which cruise.
Once she sends it out to everyone you know.

If Shell Hasnt contacted you yet about this or you havnt sent me your information then you need to PM woogal.
The info we usually have on the list is the following:

Photo
room number
city and state your from
If you want to do the FE
dining time
e-mail address
First names of everyone and ages of kids.
How many times you've cruise and which lines
Which cruise your doing this time, 3 or 4 or B to B
Any special occassions you are celebrating on board
The sooner everyone gets their info to Shell (woogal) the sooner she can finish the list and get it sent out to everyone.

Terry you can ask Shell to put on the list about a scrapbooking meet.
Then people who are interested can be added to the list. From those names someone needs to volunteer to organise it.

Or
You can be the leader
Then you can keep track of who is interested and each time we get someone new you can invite them to join the group. Plus from time to time post about it so people who havnt read past posts will know about it.

I will be out of town this weekend. But the hotel does have free internet so I will take my laptop. So I may still post. If not have a great weekend everyone,

What I learned about the posts. There are quite a bit of new cruisers...those that have never cruised before coming on this particular trip. There are two couples who getting married. One on Castaway Cay, the other on the ship. Another couple is renewing their vows while onboard.

There were quite a few people who only posted one time and didn't really say whether they are coming on the cruise or not, just that they were interested. So I guess BECAUSE of that, they probably decided NOT to do the trip.

And the most interesting thing I learned was there are many people coming that are not primarily east coast. We have a wide spectrum of individuals from the mid-west like Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, and Indianna. The western states also surprised me. One would think California, but not this group so far...it's more like Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Nevada, and Idaho, which is AWESOME!

The Canadians...well, Canada is a huge country, but there are a lot of cruisers from there, too. But whether they are from the eastern side like Quebec, Toronto or from the western side like Vancouver...don't know.

Why I found this all so interesting was this ship will be well represented with people from all over the US, which I think is really, really cool. Our last cruise I felt like a true minority with most of the cruisers from what I felt was from one state in particular. LOL The cruise director and entertainment crew announced it at most of the functions we went to.

How fun for all of us! I'm getting very excited for the cruise to come. I think about it most of the day. LOL

Kathy, we had our first Feast meeting of the year........ I found out at that meeting last Wednesday, that I am now doing another historical event the weekend we get back from the cruise. Why did the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Tippecanoe HAVE to happen THIS year? I am hoping I'm not a stressed, nervous wreck by the end of the cruise! But, besides that, the Feast stuff has started without a hitch. Hope you have a great weekend!!

Greg...... where are you????? Haven't heard from you in a while! Hope you aren't buried under tons of snow or anything.

Sorry I haven't gotten the initial list done ... I feel extremely guilty about it! Hopefully soon I'll have time to start putting it all together and get the first version out. Seems so crazy that in 10 days it's February!

Shell, I know you'll get the info out soon and I truly appreciate you doing this thing for us. It's a lot of work. Thank you sooooo much.

Kathy, I could and would be able to take on the scrapbooking portion and organize it. Look in the next couple days for a specific post on this (scrapbooking) to come.

I changed this cruise from 10/30 only ======> to B2B!!!!!!

This will be our first B2B and my 9th and 10th cruises, now for our extended family cruise in 2012 I will be Platinum CC.

After looking at our DVC points, I banked a whole bunch last month, I decided it was a good use to just book the 3 day as well, and we even have the same room, so no need to pack. DVC was able to link the two ressies with DCL, very sweet of the CM.

Not doing a whole lot today, just some so that DS can go stay with MIL for the night. DD has her first birthday party to go to, and DS wasn't invited.

So far I have heard nothing here in Indy. I have only lived in Indy 6 years and Indiana for 16 so am learning.

We also are only on the four night portion.

Looks like we have two great list makers--maybe they can work together ?

Feast?
Feast of the Hunters' Moon, West Lafayette, Indiana. It's a historical reenactment portraying life at a French and Indian fort from 1717 - 1797. This year will be my 25th year in a row, DD's 8th in a row, and DS's 5th in a row. I can get you a website if you'd like more info. (I'm told I get too passionate about the event, so I'm trying to spare everyone. )

What is planned for the Battle Anniversary and where?
I find out more about what is planned for this event on Feb 2nd, it's the weekend of Nov 5-7, the weekend we get home from the cruise. But, since I'm on the planning committee for the Feast of the Hunters' Moon, I am kind of expected to help with this event also. It's happening at the Tippecanoe Battlefield in Battleground, Indiana and at Prophet's Town State Park. They are really close together and very close to Lafayette/West Lafayette. I can get you more info about this when it becomes available if you would like it also.

I've lived in the Lafayette area all my life. There are also a couple other events that happen in Indiana, one is KohKohMah & Foster Living History Encampment near Kokomo (straight up 31 from Indy) and also Mississinewa 1812, which is just a few miles north of Marion.

I think my son went to your Feast when he was in high school. We lived in Valparaiso then. I am interested, so send links to info please! If no one got enthused, nothing would happen. Seems like there is a festival in Indiana every weekend.
