I am really getting ansey!! Is it October yet??

We have transfered our reservation to Dreams Unlimited. This is our second cruise, I booked our first through an online site two weeks before sailing and booked this cruise while onboard. I am looking forward to working with them!!

I've been despretly trying to come up with our FE gifts, and haven't had much luck. Some of the things on the Homemade FE Gifts thread are amazing! I wish I were more talented and creative! Hopefully I can come up with something everyone will like. I ordered a FE from eBay, can't wait to get it!!

You'd be surprised. Not that I'm making the crayon caddy (cause I'm not) but I thought it would take a really long time to finish all of my FE gifts but I am already done with the women's/girls gifts. The first few seemed to take forever but once I got the hang of things, it seemed to go so much faster.

Of course now I need to work on the men's/boys gifts.....and I have the feeling they are going to take me a little longer (one part involves something I can do but not necessarily something that I really enjoy doing - but I couldn't really figure out anything else).

Just as an FYI - Oriental trading has some awesome stuff! I was going to order from there for the guys FE but shipping to Canada (an additional $30!) just made the stuff way too expensive. They have lots of pirate stuff (like pirate jacks, balls, cards) and Halloween stuff if anyone is looking to buy things. And free shipping on orders over $49 right now (in fact, if you do a search for oriental trading coupons, you can pretty much always find either free shipping or a discount). BTW, I don't work for or have any association with Oriental trading, I just love looking at their website - I find those little do-dads uber cute.

So, I'm having a look at the items on Oriental trading post and before I order, I wanted to get a listing of Couples and Single Adults and kids and teens (Boy/Girl and Ages). Here's what I've come up with:

22 Couples
4 Single Adults
8 Teens (4 boys and 4 girls)
25 Kids 4 - 12yrs (8 boys and 17 girls)
7 kids Ages 3 and under including one infant who will be about 6 or 7 months old at the time of our cruise.

Happy St Pats Day!!!!! I thought I was going to be celebrating my son finally being fever free (he has been sick for the past 4 days with temp) only to have my daughter come home vomiting.... At least they are getting sick now and not in a couple of weeks because we will be in WDW for Easter My husband also got us tickets to see the space shuttle launch on April 5th. I am excited to see it but not very excited about losing the day at Disney and having to be at Kennedy Space Center for 3am with a 4 & 6 year old.

We're staying at the Hyatt too. I reserved with the AAA rate ($159 )and purchased gift cards from Costco. The Hyatt gift cards sell for $80 and they're $100 cards. I purchased 2 for $160 and figured we will eat breakfast at the hotel too. It's very convenient. You don't even have to get your luggage, you just walk right up to the hotel and give the bellman your tickets, he gets your bags from the airport carousel and brings them up to your room.

Hey, I was going to do the same thing! Have you done this before? I just want to make sure that they take the cards. Let me know!

This is just a tally up to now, deadline is still aways off. Oriental has some great sale prices, so this is my head start. If I take care of this group thus far, then those who join between now and the deadline will allow me fewer to have to do all at once.

I too was wondering what the tally was thus far, since I have a coupon for Oriental Trading that Expires March 25th and was hoping to use it for the FE gifts too.

I am the one that is expecting a baby in 3 weeks, but by all means you really do not have to buy anything for him or her, as they really will not know the difference

No, I never did it. I read about it on another website and i'm giving it a try. The certificates don't seem to have any restrictions written on the back. They're gift cards not checks -the checks have restrictions.

You've even confused me I was too cheap to spring for a 5 person stateroom, so I've stuck one of the kids in with Grama. Maybe one night I can sneak all three into her room! One can always dream right?

Hmmmmm I can't order from Oriental trading post. I went to place my order but the site says if I'm in Canada I can ONLY have my items shipped to my Canada Address, not an American one. So I keyed in my own address as my Aunts in NJ. So far so good right? But then when I inputed my credit card number, it recognized my AMEX as having a Canadian Billing Address, and thus we were back to step one. Their Shipping charges to Canada are atrocious and I refuse to pay that (Shipping charges cost more than the total of the items I was purchasing).
I even tried using my payPal account, but again, it recognizes a Canadian Address Associated with that account.
I've emailed them asking why this is their policy?

UPDATE: I received an email indicating I CAN have my items shipped to the U.S, but on a phone order only. So I called the number supplied, and did just that. The lady even told me where to go online to find a coupon key! I got free shipping by doing that!

For everyone that is undecided about the FE, I just wanted to put out a reminder that as we get closer and get a better idea of what our count is we will decide if our group is too large - in which case break into smaller groups
