There, the official booking has been made! Now I'll just have to watch for cheap flights from SYR as I refuse to drive again (only because it takes up too much time) and it's too expensive to fly out of Ottawa.

How great! You had done some wonderful cruise magnets for me for my October 2009 cruise. I plan to re-use some of them for this cruise, so you may recogonize your work on our door!

On our cruise last week (last week really? it already seems like SO much longer than a week ago), while delivering FE's, I saw many magnets I had done up for people, and it really did put a smile on my face. Wish I had taken some photos, but I only took pictures of my own door. I'm hoping to come up with some new ones for this next cruise.

WELCOME! Another Canadian on board! Did you see my SENS Fan sign up above? Or are you a LEAF'S FAN? Or as my daughter says "No Fan" (she hates Hockey).
Are you flying or might you be driving? I've not had to book my own flight for a cruise before. Our first Trip was through Children's Wish Foundation, and they took care of EVERYTHING for us. Our second trip, we drove ourselves, but this next one I think we are flying. I need to find a good deal out of SYR.
Will this be your First Disney Cruise?

Does any one remember if you can have something slipped under the door on the Ship??

i am thinking yes, that they slip you running tab under the door at times BUT i could be wrong......

Any one have a fresh rememberance of this happening????

You can slip something under the door, but isn't that what the fish are for?

Yes lets go with Monday the 1st
I am thinking early is best about 10ish?????

Yep sounds good. The only possible conflict that I can think of offhand would be those with Palo Bruch at 10 that day.

The signature banners are in the first post, you can right click them and save from there or straight from one of our signatures. Then you have to upload them to photobucket and then copy and paste the code into your signature. It isnt as easy as it looks to get those situated right since there are length and width limitations..I am always tweaking mine and I know some of it can't be seen on non-widescreen displays. You could also put one of those as an avatar--I've seen that done a lot with the logos on cruisees before.

The tickers are a bit easier, just go to one of the sites Mickeypath, ucruiser, go through all the steps and then copy and paste the code provided. Some of the codes are different and I can never remember which one works for this type of board, it's trial and error when I do it! :goodvibes

Hope that helps you!

I think there is a little shelf built in between the fish and the wall, where the FE hanger would be hung. I believe that's what the other poster was referring to.

AHHHH........
you know i read it twice and had to go back and read it again.....and i see it does just say fish not fish extender.......

And maybe that is whats its for BUTi would be afraid soemone would take what i want to slip under the door.

Yeah it does sound like a lot!! Especially the eating part, I don't know how we will fit all that food in (3 restaurants when we have free food on the boat...!?!?! What are we thinking??:rotfl:) but we have spent a lot of time in Key West over the years and have quite a few must-do's. The challenge this time is packing it all into one day.

I was going to put together a small guide to Key West on my other cruise, no reason to not do that here! Just a little compilation in word or PDF with maps and info on places so if anyone is interested I can throw that together.:goodvibes

In fact one other thing we haven't discussed is a Dis Navigator. I have read about them on other cruises but I've never personally been involved in a cruise that has done it. I think the idea is great. It is basically a Navigator made just for us with Dis Meet Info, the ToT info could be in there, Group Picture..that sort of thing. FE info could be included or not, depending on how Leslie wants to handle it (The FE info could be like an insert to be added to the Navigator for those participating). There is a lot of info and it would be great to have it all in one place. Like the kind of stuff put in the spreadsheets would be there too, port times, dining rotations and themes, shows, deck parties, all that good stuff! It can be made electronically and then distributed so we each can print our own. Thoughts everyone?

We would love info you may be willing to share. This will be our first time to visit there, and we are sooo...:woohoo: excited.

Am I missing something here - is this for the DIS TOT? If so, I want to add it to post #1 :surfweb:

Yes........sent you a PM also.

And not sure about 10 on Monday i guess that can be changed if needed dont want any one to miss out on this or a brunch so we can see when time gets closer if there is a brunch set for this time.

IS there a group brunch planned yet??

I won't be traveling with kids so I can do whatever you need me to do for TOT. Just let me know and assign me a spot!;)

The STEELERS ROCKED last night in Denver.:woohoo:
Penguins play Boston tonight - Here's to Sydney and the boys!

Judy

DH and I are also traveling without children. Will be glad to help with TOT, if needed.

Our son is in Pittsburgh, and we have been fans for years. Go :cheer2: Steelers!

Hey everyone. We have to bow out of this cruise. The cruise conflicts with a conference we need to attend next year. So we switched to the western on Oct 16th.

Hope you all have great cruise.
