Hola Sandy, will try to make the cruise smooth with good tequila :goodvibes I'm not a big soccer fan more of a football Fan......

That's okay, as long as you have the tequila :goodvibes

They have been putting the big games up on the Ariel Vision "Dumbo-tron":thumbsup2

Like on our cruise they had MNF showing...great when it's good teams.

That's cool. In all our cruises since they installed it, I think we only saw movies showing.

Yes that is where we are staying in Oct......

can you tellme the drive time fromt here to the parks?

Can you tell me about the sizes of the Villas we have a 2 bedroom. But there is 12 people are we going to be squished up?

Kids are sleeping on floor on blow ups.

We are waterparkview is this a good idea?

Did you have a porch or patio can you tellme about it.

Lynn,

Sorry to say, I haven't stayed here yet! November will be our first time. This was a timeshare exchange for us (we usually go to Maine:love:). The entire property looks great, so I am sure you will love it!

oh, sorry i guess i misunderstood.

Iguess then i will be able to tell you about it when i get back since i go first.

IT does look great.

Well our trip to the happiest place on earth is over (for now, lol) :goodvibes. Now its back to work and cleaning.:laundy: If any one has any questions about the BLT and Tree Top, please ask away.

Speak to all you later

sorry you had to come back....:sad2: We won't be back until next May. This will the the longest gap for us in a few years.

Overall....what was your impression of BLT? Did you eat in any of the restaurants?

BLT was very nice and close to everything. It is only a 10 min walk to MK. The pool is very nice and has a soda station next to it for the refillable mugs. The water slide is cool but very short. You find yourself going to MK and Epcot do to the monorail. The lounge on the top deck is nice and is only open to guests staying at BLT. The rooms are very nice and look nothing like the model. All the restaurants are in the contemporary. But it is a short walk across the new bridge. My wife and I would stay there again but with a pool view. The MK view is only good at night (for Wishes) but the pool view/Bay Lake has people watching. The only strange thing is the bridge from the contemporary is on the 4th floor. So you have to go up or down to cross over.

Any thing else, ask away

Thanks for the update. We booked the MK view for next year just for the experience the first time. After that we will just do the standard view. Why is it the rooms never look like the models. :confused3

Disappointed that there is no restaurant. Not a deal breaker but look forward to new dining opportunities.

.....ah..... a good DCL tequila drink is not good until you have had some jalapeno chedder cheese cookies (to nibble on) from the Byrd Cookie Company (Key West Florida). :cloud9: Yes, they are prepackaged & DCL will let u bring them onto the ship. Same w/their key lime cookies.
Tho I do say that the Blonde Giraffe (Key West, Fl) has the best key lime cookies around - imo.

p.s. YYEEAAA!!!! Cooler weather down here in Dallas starting Wed!!!!!:woohoo:.

Jalapeno chedder cookies AND tequila AND a Disney Cruise?!?! Sounds wonderful.::yes::

What type of room do you have? We had a studio. We noticed that BLT has a lot of 1 bedrooms. With the one bedrooms you have a lot more space and two very nice bathrooms.

You could do what we did, eat around the rail. You have quick access to the restaurants at Poly and Grand.

OHHHHHH PUDO

I sure hope you are right!

That is exactly what i want to do!!!!

I want to go to HAWAII

Stay in the DISNEY RESORT and then DO a CRUISE and for it to be a DISNEY CRUISE........................OHHHHHH that would be Blissful!!!

We need to save up all of our DVC points and see what happens!!!!

Ok- I am waaaaaaaayyyyy behind and trying to catch up, so this is a few pages back, but I just wanted to say....

ME TOO!!! ME TOO!!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

I am planning on Hawaii in 2011- It's our 25th anniversary AND DH's 50th- so I'm thinking we deserve a BIG CELEBRATION that year!! :yay: :yay:

I would soooooooooooooo love to do the new resort with a cruise....but don't think any Disney boats will be over in Hawaii then, so guess I'll have to come back another time....:goodvibes

NCL has a cruise right from Honolulu you could take pre or post DVC. Not Disney but an option.

I am ALL IN for some jalepeno cheddar cheese cookies!! I had no idea they existed!!! Where have I been????

And last Key West Day (for us), which was last fall RIGHT AFTER YOUR CRUISE NENNER1 (love your TR:goodvibes) (and your buddy Drea!:thumbsup2), the boys couldn't WAIT to get back to the ship (after a few hours on land) and after DH watched a little GIANTS in Sloppy Joe's, he went back to watch the GIANTS on the dumbotron- not a bad day at all.....:cool1:

Aww thanks! I really enjoyed yours too! Next time they will be the same! :lmao:

(and your buddy Drea!:thumbsup2),

She's a trip, isn't she? I think we should gang up on her and convince her she needs to be on this cruise too....:rolleyes1

Another Friday has rolled around...YAY! I'm busy doing some food & wine planning. I probably should be doing cruise planning too!

(after I sleep!) :)

YES!!! Let's gang up on her!! She DOES need to be on this cruise!!!!:thumbsup2

When are your visits planned to F&W? I'll be there twice- once with DH the last week in Sept and then again the 1st week of November.:goodvibes

Well, it's official- hurricane Danny has arrived to screw up the weekend- it's already pouring outside. We're having a party here tomorrow that we host every year with some friends- it's a Seafood Fandango and it involves ridiculous amounts of seafood, usually eaten all day on my deck. Now it will be inside- my house is going to smell soooooooooooooooooo nice....:sad2:

I would love to help gang up on DREA It would great to have her on this cruise as well. Lois

I don't believe the Wonder will be sailing Mexican Riveria cruises full-time and DCL withdrew its Alaskan permit application so a natural progression would be for the Wonder to repo to Hawaii. From reading the DVC news the Oahu property is in full swing and scheduled to open in 2011.

If all works out well we may sail twice in 2011: a 4 day "Dream" vacation and then later in the year a "Wonder"ful Hawaiian cruise. Keeping our fingers crossed. :thumbsup2

I just saw something somewhere yesterday that said the Wonder would be based out of the west coast.

Correct. The Wonder will be home-ported in Los Angeles, but my guess is the finalized contract will not require the Wonder to stay at the LA port the entire year opening up the Hawaiian cruise option.

The opening of the DVC property in 2011 and the Dream setting sail in the same year moving the Wonder to the west coast is too coincidental for me.
