Thanks for the link.....

I do remeber reading this at some point.

Do you know if they have started a sign up or not yet..The first post still says they have not but that was from months ago.

We also have 30points left we could use on a room if anything is available.

But i am probablly just dreaming, i probablly wont do anything.:confused3

Who me? ;)

LOL...well I'm jealous of your MNSSHP, so there! :rotfl2:

It is pretty exciting, but it's hard getting past this time of year since fall is when we usually cruise. Plus most years we do WDW again (spring for Savannah's BD and Fall for Brendan's *cough*food&wine*cough*) but we are doing some home improvements (painting, new lighting, etc.) and probably won't have the extra $$$.

I am trying to convince Ron to do Disapalooza though!! :rolleyes1
You don't have to convince me... The only thing is Savannah's dance thing. And of course I was planning on doing at least one of the parks for Brendan's birthday. His choice, though. No trying to pursuade him to do the food & wine.:rolleyes1

No, AFAIK they have not started yet. They are supposed to send something out to the DU customers first and then open it up to everyone else. I always listen to the podcast as soon as it comes out so I'l let you know when I hear more. It was only in the last couple of weeks they gave all the details about it so this info is still new. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah...West Coast Dance, isn't that IN Orlando? (Yes it is!:thumbsup2) I guess we would need one night hotel then. That will be one long day for me. Unless I can change my schedule.

So you DID plan on B going too then...OK. Could've sworn I mentioned it. No sense in paying $80 per ticket for one day when the Play 3/Play 4 are $40ish/day. (Just sayin.... That way S can go too for hers ):rolleyes1 (It did go up BTW I just checked, first time in years. The Play 4 is $41/day [$164] but the Play 3 is now up to $44/day.[up to $139 from $120..oh well].

We now return you to your regularly scheduled cruise talk...LOL! :rotfl2:

Oh luckily we dont have to fly to the cruise.

Lynn - you're a person I can ask, since you live in Ft. Lauderdale. How long does it take you to get to the port by car? We will probably fly into West Palm and pick up my mother in Boca Raton and drive to the port. I know it takes about three hours to get from Boca to Orlando, so I figure it can't be much longer than that, right?

.... Sounds like we need a few Pro Football watching parties/social functions on this cruise:woohoo:.

I'm not a big football fan, but either way, I can't see spending my time on a cruise watching TV. Of course, on the Magic the games are in the Diversions and for a pint of a good draft, I could be convinced. Too bad we sail from Saturday to Saturday, because ESPN is now showing English Premier League games on Saturday mornings and for that, I might make an exception to my no TV rule.

Hello everyone Just finish reading, 37 pages for this thread :scared1:, wow very active group, we sailed this past April 30 on the Wonder, and the group was small and quiet.

We just booked our next cruise with all of you, this time I'm bringing my parents and brother family so we will be 10 in total, we normally go every 2 years and celebrate Christmas or New Years at Disney world, but next year I convince them to go on the cruise, this will be our 5th cruise for my DW and my 2 DD, but their first for my Mom, Dad, Brother and his family.

We will be celebrating several things:

My 11th Aniversary
My brother 6th Aniversary
My Parents 36th Aniversary
My Brother 30th Birthday
My DD 9 Birthday
My DD 8 Birthday

Yes I know October and November are very busy months for us :rotfl2:

Welcome aboard or si dijeron, 'Hola'. This is the first time I think I've been on acruise with DISers from south of the border. Oy yeah, about that soccer thing, let's not talk World Cup :lmao:

OMG!!!

I have now had 2 weird dreams about the cruise.

Step away from the keyboard. You are spending waaaay to much time on the DIS :rotfl2:

It maytake you 3 hours. It takes us about 2.5 hours but since you will be more out west. And may not have such the lead foot that My DH has.

But it is closer than Disney!

I dont watch football at home so i cant see watching on the cruise...BUT if that is what DH wants to do. I figure i can make some drinks in the room and bring them up and go back to room and make more drinks and on and on until i am unable to walk tot he room then i will just have to orde from the bar. I figure A foot ball game is a good reason for to get a little sloshed!!!

...sounds good to me since I am seriously looking at the ABD "Emerald Isle" vacation :cloud9:.

I hear ya about the "No watching Sports" rule while on vacation. My rules? No internet nor laptop but I gotta bring my I-pod :woohoo: (nothin like listenin to Disney music while joggin the 5K out on Castaway Cay).
Anywho -It sounds like I need to post my pre-trip report on this vacation (up on my signature line 4 people 2 c) cuz with me a runnin' around a lot, it would feel great to sit down a bit and take in something non-Disney ish ....like a football or basketball game :yay:.

...because ESPN is now showing English Premier League games...

Curious what that is.

I like Diversions, but never spend anytime there, mostly because my wife doesn't like it when I come home smelling like smoke. ;)

Correctamundo. The English Premier League is England's top division in soccer. Until now, you could only watch games on Fox Soccer Channel, which isn't HD yet, but ESPN is. I'm a huge soccer fan. As a maater of fact, my screen name is a tribute to the name of the NY MLS franchise before they became the Red Blls (ugh!).

They have been putting the big games up on the Ariel Vision "Dumbo-tron":thumbsup2

Like on our cruise they had MNF showing...great when it's good teams.

I always thought Dumbo-tron was a fun name, but apparently DCL didn't agree with many of us and named it Ariel Vision. Oh well, sometimes Disney has a sense of humor, just not that time. :goodvibes

Hola Sandy, will try to make the cruise smooth with good tequila :goodvibes I'm not a big soccer fan more of a football Fan......

.....ah..... a good DCL tequila drink is not good until you have had some jalapeno chedder cheese cookies (to nibble on) from the Byrd Cookie Company (Key West Florida). :cloud9: Yes, they are prepackaged & DCL will let u bring them onto the ship. Same w/their key lime cookies.
Tho I do say that the Blonde Giraffe (Key West, Fl) has the best key lime cookies around - imo.

p.s. YYEEAAA!!!! Cooler weather down here in Dallas starting Wed!!!!!:woohoo:.
