I know that Knewton is the great story teller of our group ........ so hope fully it can do it justice...
I start down my road towards work and there is standing water i call my hubby and say i thinkmaybe i should turn around....
BUT i wait....
And i wait too long
Ahead of me is a massive MASSIVE amount of water....Cars literally FLOATING down the rest of the street....People behind me stop ...the road is 4 lanes widenand about 6 cars deep in those 4 lanes.....Just dead stopped at the edge of this massive river in the middle of the road i noramly drive on for work...
THERE is 2 cars in front of floating and 2 cars on the opposoite side floating...Why do i not just turn around there is a curb to my immediate left i see 2 larger vans get over the curb so i tell DH who i am on the phone with that i am goign to try to go over curb at which time a CITY bus gets stuck going over the curb blocking several lanes in both directions....
IT IS POURING...heavier rain than i have ever seen
Where did you relocate from?
My family will be heading to Williamsburg next weekend for new years eve. I say we make the extra 11 drive to WDW but I was out voted
Well off the to light the fireplace, turn on the rotating christmas tree (AKA the disney tree), and watch the travel channel that has the season of disney on.

Is that you???
I looked at the list and only one i see from ST LOUIS!
....I gotta ask.
Ok.....what's inside Sleeping Beauty's castle?? Is there a 1-bedroom suite room in there? Security room as well?? I dunno.
Reason for the asking is I am heading out to DL in a few weeks (see below trip report) & I am wondering if that's one of the places we are going to see
Any responses would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

I haven't been there since I was 16. It's a much smaller castle than Cinderella's Castle at the World. I remember a walking tour through it where you saw some really pretty stained glass windows that told the story of Sleeping Beauty as you walked through. I remember stairs and and alot of stone.
They didn't have a suite then (at least not one they told anyone about!). I think the Disneyland apartment (Walt's apartment) is located in the town, I think over the Fire Station? I remember watching a show on Disney Travel Channel On Demand (that's on Cablevision up here) about Disneyland mysteries and they talked about this. I think there was a suite built for the Year of a Million Dreams, but I think it is located in one of the Disneyland hotels, not in the actual park.
So.....my question is:
Is there a place inside Disneyland (per the above paragraphed blog) that winners of the year of a million dreams were taken to??
What is it??
I am getting a wee bit curious.
Any responses would be appreciated.
