We haven't been to WDW since June and I am going through withdrawals. We won't be back again until June next year. Let's post some of our favorite and/or out of the ordinary pictures to bring back those happy moments.

I think I really liked the way (I think it was Lynn's cruise) did it...with the several stops around the ship thing. I think something along those lines would be much easier to navigate than visiting a whole lot of staterooms and much more fun for those giving out candy (sit in a public area with a few other Disers vs. being alone in your stateroom waiting for a knock)

Hmmm, how will this work with those who are not in our group? Do you do it in a non obvious location so that we don't get lots of others? I know how kids are when someone is handing out candy, they can sniff it out a mile away, haha!!

June? Wah. ;) I haven't been since November of last year and I probably won't be going again until 2011 (the cruise is my trip for 2010)!

I took some great (if I do say so myself) shots of the fireworks and castle last year.

Ah, good times, good times!

Anyone have a picture of the castle with the Christmas lights on it. I would love to see one again!!!

Great Pictures. I will have to get one or two to post soon.

One day closer and Still Counting!!!!

Jennifer,

Great shot of the castle and fireworks. Reminds me that we haven't seen the fireworks from the front of the castle in a while.

That’s a good question. What about a scavenger hunt :magnify: with the candy at the end (just one place)? The rest of the stations could hand out clues instead of candy so there would be only one place that could be “Sniffed out”. We could make that out of the way . Maybe a conference room that isn’t being used or one of the “secret” decks on 7 or 8.:ssst: Just a thought.

How ever you do it is fine with me....

But we just sat in out of the way places, and we only gave a small piece of candy with the clue to the next place this way they did not need a BAG till the end......

And we put stickers on our kids to represent our group.

WE only had only @ 3 kids out of our group we gave them a piece of candy NO CLUE.

The kids are so busy doing their own thing i dont think they even notice.

Secret deck is a great idea.

Excellent ideas there! I do like the scavenger hunt idea! Some other less kiddo populated areas I can think of are a corner of the Promenade Lounge, he back rear of Deck 10 (the area of deck you are looking at if you are dining in Palo) and a remote corner (i.e. forward) of deck 4. Those might also be some good places to have clue stations and then maybe the grand finale ( <--looks around for lurking kids) could be on the Deck 7 secret aft verandah....

I think the identifying sticker thing is good too :thumbsup2

My wife (Missy) just suggested a pin, sticker, T-shirt or some other way of identifying the kids that are part of our group.

I really like the ideas of a sticker or something to identify our group and of a small piece of candy with a clue or just a piece of candy. That way not little ghost feels left out if they happen by.:goodvibes

Isn’t Halloween great? All your favorite candy in little sizes!:thumbsup2

Thanks for posting the WDW pics. I’m SO homesick. We’re now talking about adding some days on before we sail and slipping in the MNSSHP. :cheer2: The castle at Christmas is beyond words. We haven’t been there during the holidays since they began that. It almost makes up for what they did to it for the WDW 25th anniversary. Anyone remember the “giant cake”? There hasn’t been such a bad idea since New Coke.:sad2:

Please add me to the roll call for this cruise! We booked it when we were onboard the Wonder for the 4 day October 18-22. We decided 4 days was just not long enough and that we definitely needed to try a 7 day.

I booked a Cat.6 GTY for me, DH, DD (9) and DS (4). I wanted to choose a stateroom, but it seems this cruise is pretty full. I also was wait listed for main dining. Hoping that comes through, since I don't think my son has the ability to stay up that late for dinner.

Planning a new cruise is the only thing that is keeping me from being depressed about the one that just ended!
