No i didnot hear that......But that is just crazy old....wow.

We also have a 6.5 year old puggle...which is a pug and a beagle mix.

He is an awesome dog. But we got him at age 5 but he is soo cool and listens SOOOOO well.

HE is not soooooo thrilled with the new puppy right now...BUT he is taking it pretty well.

I am just afraid he will nip at her.

Today she fell asleep with her head on my shoe and my shoes strings in her mouth.

We Got a PUPPY yesterday.

I will post a picture soon as i can......But she is soooo cute.

She is 4 lbs.

She is a mix of a bigion friche and a miniature pincher and i am sure the spelling of the first dog is not correct.

Dont know how big she will get we suspect about 15 lbs.

Now we have to board 2 dogs but i couldnt pass her up she was at petco,with our local HUmane society..........WOW,was I in the right place at the right time......

Congrats on the puppy Lynn. never told us her name. I know the feeling about being in the right place. I walked in pet smart 5 years ago to buy cat food and walked out with a 12 year old female westie. Looking forward to some pictures.

Figment came to us as a stray in our development. It was Thanksgiving morning 8 years ago. At first I did not want a cat, but now I would need therapy if something happened to her (as she is looking at me)

So my little girl started her first day of Kindergarten, we got there at the last minute because she didn't want to dress in her school uniform so we were running a little late.

She was crying and didn't want to let go, hopefully she is having fun now. She has half days (noon) all this week.

It's a beautiful day here in NJ so maybe we'll play outside and talk about our first day.

My "baby" started 4th grade today. She barely looked back as she got on the bus.

Beaches and Cream is cool, had a meet there once...We got the Kitchen sink....Oh my that is alot of ice cream.

Wow, that must have been arranged special, since B&C isn't the biggest place to hold a meet and it's always busy.

Congratulations on your new addition! Puppies are such fun. We have a little French Bulldog named Louie. I would SO love to get him a little sister. DH isn’t there yet. However, in his deference, Louie is a handful. Stitch as nothing on him.

WELL.......technically we walked in and ordered and ate outside by the pool they have all those tables outside and yeah ......that place is sooo small!




You guys are making me feel old. My baby just started her last year of university.

oH DONT FEEL OLD..........I have one married and one who has been out of university for a year............So LIVE IT UP!!!!!!

I would stick to disney names. How about Belle, Stitch, Lilo, or thumper (if she has big paws)

Well off to start planning another next disney trip. This time it is going to be for nine of us. Five of the nine have never been to Disney

and how did mom handle it.....

Mom did pretty well, but then she has a 16 year old daughter that went to the same school so this is not her first go round, but it is mine.

Sarah is struggling with all the change in routine. She can be more of a Tom Boy, but still likes her "girl color" clothes like pink, purple, and yellow so the navy blue plaid school uniform did not go over well. She will be tearing those clothes off as soon as she gets the opportunity.

She also doesn't like large crowds of people initially, she gets used to them eventually, so going from a daycare with 5 kids to a school with several hundred has been intimidating.

All in all, socially the school will be good for her, lots of girls her age as opposed to the in-home daycare she went to where there only a couple of others, none her age.

Have you thought of a name yet?

I came across some pictures of Figment six months after she found us and I can not believe how much she has grown. I still can't belive that she has been with us for almost 7 years. Boy does time fly

Your new addition is just too cute. They do have a way of worming their way into our hearts. I know Janet and I have 3 dogs and 3 cats. Finding family to care for my babies is not all that easy. Lois

Hey dizzi!

When we addopted our kitten two years ago we went with two disney names - they are Tinkerbelle and Tiana - As Tiana's movie is about to come some time this year, I'm thinking that will be a very popular name soon

To help us decide on names I went to good ol wikpedia and looked up "disney fairies" and "disney princes" - some others that were close in our running were: Rosetta, Fawn, & Lyria - but we knew we wanted two names that went together

Have fun deciding on her name - she is VERY cute!!
