Time off today has given me time to do MUCH WEB SURFING!!!


The Vacations to go WEBsite has 4 night Disney Cruises for LOW LOW prices.
In the next 3 months.........I dont know if i will be able to pass them up.

I only have one....I dont even know how far away it is driving wise from KSC but we have eaten at GRILLS several times....The food is good the view is great. And if you like live music they have that too.

We went a couple months agao and watched the Magic sail away!!!!

I know i will find out when i read the thread......But how many ADULTS will be dressing in costume for Halloween?

I'm hoping we will. It will be our 20th anniversary and I am looking forward to dressing up. I just need to enlist the help of my friend and her mother, as I can't sew worth a hoot. I'm hoping to dress us as Merlin and Mad Madam Mim.

We use to celebrate big, with family and friends, lots of good food and an occasional drive by from the local Sheriffs Dept. I think they just came by for a free snack but once, our smoke machine got a little carried away and the smoke wafted down the hill and caused some concern on the main road.

We decided the parties were becoming too much work (it was our anniversary after all) and opted to go to Disney instead. Now I don't have to spend the next day cleaning up the mess!

On a similar note: Who's planning to dress formally? I'm talking Tux, gown and the whole nine yards! I know I am. It's not every day you get to dress to the 9's, especially when you live in the country and work with horses on a regular basis. I am a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl and I can't walk in heels to save my life but I like the look in my DH's eyes when I dress like a lady!

Well, I hope everyone has a safe weekend. I can't believe we are ALREADY half way through August! Time is going to fly!

Dressing up is sooo much fun, i think.

I dont know what we will do yet, butsomething fun for Halloween.

Dont know if the kids will dress up for Halloween or not.

As far as FORMAL NIGHT....DH wont do a tux but he will do suit and Tie and i will do a long dress for Foraml Night. I dont mind heels, But i dont like them on the ship i seem to loose my balance alot. I figured out that if i wear a long dress i can get away with wearing ..... sssssshhhhhhh........flipflops!!

Some of you may have already heard but we had some pretty bad weather this trip We had rain and high seas - but - still had a great time!

When we were on the Halloween Cruise, in 2007 IT was also bad weather... UUGGGHHHH........ I sure hope we dont have bad weather again this time.

We totally missed CC becasue of a Hurricane.

Oh well if we doit is just another reason to take another cruise!!!

For November, we are staying at Orange Lake. I was going to stay on property but I had a time-share week I had to use.

Is this a HOLIDAY INN ORANGE LAKE???
WIth a WATERPARK???

WE are staying at a plae called Orange Lake in October.....

Hey all!

I am not sure of the issue with zazzle. They made me remove anything that contains our little logo from post one as mickey is a copyrighted item - I had some things posted that just had the three circles and our cruise date but now those are gone as well . . .

Looks like we might have to print our own decals and iron onto our own shirts - which - is cheaper but I prefer the zazzle quality

I had a really long day too. I am a manager of a Coffee shop.....and My District Manager is spending the week at my store..........SOOOOOOthat makes it LONG!!!!

Funny we just purchased a home this spring and I have alot of DISNEY THEMED things ........ so iknow that Mine and DH Bedroomis going to be MICKEYThemed and Most likely our Family room,asi had our Living room done in DCL Family pictures and souviniers previously.

We have been to Key West but Just once, so i look forward to ALL the stops, EVEN CASTAWAY CAY as i have been on 2 cruises but have not made it to CC YET!!!!!!!!!

......I "ran" the 5K while out on Castaway Cay in January. Well, er....hhmmmmmmm.... more like slow jogged it (finished it at 51:23 minutes ) and W-O-W!!!!! It was like I had the whole island to myself for about 15 to 20 minutes. It was very peaceful and beautiful, just me and the sound of me jogging out on the open road with no one else around.
Very beautiful island and really enjoyed the scenery and the weather was just perfect. What a nice way to see the island for the very first time (5K usually starts at 8:30am).
Of course, about 20 minutes into my jog, back came the "jackrabbits" as they finished the 5K in like 28 minutes Not to be outdone, I proudly came back to the coordinator and replied where I would like my certificate of completion to be sent to (same cabin # as this cruise...#2068) and the proper spelling of my name BUT... when I said I finished it in 51:23.... the reactionary look (doing a double take in surprise) on his face was too funny.
But hey, still got my certificate and am very proud of it.
Anywho, my preday for this vacation will be at POFQ and am looking forward to some beignets and some Cajun coffee or Coca Cola....which ever can wake me up in the am.



P.S. did you hear the strange news about what happened to Minnie Mouse?

LMAO...you had me looking at prices last night...I was thinking with the great rates maybe we could squeeze in a quickie (3 night). Crazy the 4 night is cheaper but since that is Sun-Thurs it doesn't work as well as the 3 night. Could get a 9 & 11 for the 4 nt for $2000. No lower cat's for the 3 night so it would have to be a cat.4, which was over $2100. Oh well.....guess we'll live, even if we have to hold out til Jan to get our cruise fix.

Looking at the tropics right now that's probably a good idea. Those storms just came out of nowhere! (I *so* called Claudette developing when it was just a rain mass on the local radar.)

Yeah, we had issues too on our last cruise (we had a mickeyhead logo). Some people got their stuff at Cafe Press but I think some people could not get their orders due to the copyright snafu. I thought I would have trouble since I was having a mickeyhead printed on my FE gift but I didn't (different company though) .

Mostly I print my own stuff, even though my printer is not the best. I did have some big problems with my magnets last time, but it had more to do with the quality of the magnet paper than my printer...(mostly from ink bleeding and the finish smudging.)

My friends swear by Vistaprint. I have seen some custom invitations and postcards printed by them and the quality was excellent. That is another option....

Yes i definitley need a 3 night and not a 4 night.

I am still watching for some good deals.

I just dont know how much i would have to pay as a single rider.

If it would be double I would then feel like i would need to take someone for it to still be a good deal.

No i didnt make it to CC as one of our cruises was out of California and the other we had a hurricane and went to Nassau instead.

... for groping poor Ms. Mouse. He was sentenced to 60 hrs community service, told to write an apoligy letter to his wife , fined a lot on money and was forever banned from all Disney parks.

So, I in turn wrote to Dcl.guest.communications@disneycruise.com a letter to Ms Mouse offering words of encourgement to her and also to let her know that there are STILL good people out there and that we all care about her and appreciate her.


P.S. about my letter writing... hey I even wrote a "fan letter" to Goofy (Dec 2008) and a thank you letter (2 all cm's) that I was told by Cm's both made it up on their internal bulletin board.
