Now i know why you said

WOW:scared1:

I am just sitting here shaking my head....:confused3

That is CRAZY REDICULOUS.....Poor Minnie!!!

NO, What happened to Minii Mouse????

An older man (60's) was found guilty of, how shall we put this nicely, mis-handling Ms. Mouse. Apparently, she had to fight off his roaming hands. I guess she was trying to do it discretely and without causing a scene because even her escort did not see it happen.:confused3

:offtopic:
Can anyone explain to me how to multi quote on the same page? I hit the little multi quote button and nothing happened. I am married to a computer genius and one would think I would know how to do more than check my e-mail and post on the dis-boards!:rotfl2: Unfortunately, I cannot ask for his assistance at this time, and even if I could, he would probably tell me to click the little multi quote button!

Ah well - what a strange world we live in nowadays.

......ok i'm off to finish packing for next mnths ABD "Spirit of America" trip. packing one suitcase stinks! I am sooooooooooooo used to two!
Ah well - wish me luck.

 JANICE!!!!! I cannot believe after all these years we are finally going to meet!!! Me and my immediate and EXTENDED family (18 of us in all) are going on this EXACT cruise!!!!! What are the chances?!?:banana::banana:

All from New Jersey!! oh yeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Dinner Seating = LATE
Favorite Characters: Mickey, Mary Poppins, Ariel, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy

 Staterooms: 6066 (yeah, we splurged!) and 6089 for the girls!! lol!

We stayed in 6066 on our first cruise. Since then we have stayed in 6068 3 times and we have loved both rooms!! The best part is sitting on your balcony and watching fireworks on pirate night - AND - have breakfast on your balcony while backing in to Castaway Cay.

This cruise I upgraded us to 8574 - but don't tell Linda! It is a surprise!!

We plan to talk to one of the DVC people prior to this cruise . . .

I can't wait to meet you!! This is going to be so much fun!!

Thanks! I think I was doing it backwards, or just completely wrong (obviously:laughing:)

On a similar note: Who's planning to dress formally? I'm talking Tux, gown and the whole nine yards! I know I am. It's not every day you get to dress to the 9's, especially when you live in the country and work with horses on a regular basis. I am a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl and I can't walk in heels to save my life :rotfl2: but I like the look in my DH's eyes when I dress like a lady!

Well, I hope everyone has a safe weekend. I can't believe we are ALREADY half way through August! Time is going to fly!:woohoo:

We usually dress up, but I was thinking of maybe just bringing a suit this time around. It's all a matter of how much we have to pack.

eeewwwhhh 1 suitcase.....no carry on or toiletry???

What cities does the Spirit of America go to??

DC?
PITTBURG??
VIRGINIA???

I wouldlove to do the CHINA ABD...

Maybe one day we willhave enough points

That is awesome!!!

You wont regret the decision.

I have only sailed 2 times but i cant imagine doing it again without a verandah.

I was pretty miserable in our inside room.

BUT i loved our verandah!!!!!!!!

Just contacted my travel agent to upgrade to a Navigator's Verandah! We decided that if we are going to do this, we're going to do it right ;)

JUST AN FYI.....

And i am not very well versed on all things verandahs......BUT
When we switched over to this cruise, WE checked on a navigators Verandah, and the only ones that were left were the ones with a solid wall.

And maybe you know this and are fine with it.

But it would be crushing for me to NOT have known and walked into a room with a verandah that i couldnt see through the wall.

But depending on what you upgraded from.....I would imagine ANY VERANDAH would be bette than NO Verandah.

Jackie,

Congrats and welcome to the DVC family and the roll call. The pictures of BLT are beautiful and I can't wait either to experience the magic. We are staying at BLT next June for the first time and can't wait.

Smartest move you could have made. You will be so glad you upgraded. Just one morning, order breakfast in and enjoy it on your verandah.

What you are describing is the Navigator's Verandah. It's is a great way to have a verandah at a much lower cost. Don't let the solid wall scare you. the Navigator Verandahs have a huge opening to see out of. The only thing you can't do is sit down and see out (well, you can, you just see sky). This pictures in this link give you a good idea of what they look like: http://www.*******************/nverand.htm

Oh yes, sitting on the verandah early in the morning with breakfast is sooo awesome.

Although my BESt experience ever on the verandah was just standing out on the verandah as we wre pulling in to the first port....First time i had ever really seen mountains coming up out of the ocean....IT was soooooo beautiful and i was sooooo glad i had my own verandah at that moment just to enjoy the experience in my own space.

You will love it i am sure.....

I just wanted to you to have the knowledge of the solid wall.....

... I am wondering if I am "freaking out" ;)over nothing but on my 9 day ABD "Spirit of Americal" trip, there will be opportunities to do some bike riding (around Capitol Hill to swimming at the Great Wolfe Lodge, etc... But, the only place to do laundry is at the 3rd of three hotel stops; the hotel in Williamsburg Virginia (the other 2 stops are in Philadelphia & Wash D.C.).
and Adventures by DIsney has a policy of allowing each guest 1 checked bag, one carry on and one personal item. which I can understand since they are a motor coached tour company. So, I am going to attempt to cram 12 shirts , 2 pair of shorts and a pair of khaki pants, socks, I-pod speakers (to listen to my Disney music while out and about and or in the hotel room :cloud9:), umbrella, emergency & medicine kit, toilteries, etc all in O-N_E Flippin' 28 inch suitcase!
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:mad:.
I am soooooooooooooo used to a 28 inch suitcase and a 26 inch suitcase (the 26 inch suitcase WAS to be used to carry my dirty laundry). So - in the spirit of chillin out over this, I have decided to bring a carry on (duffle bag) & use it to house my dirty laundry since I really wanna spend time in a vacation mode and not mess with doing laundry; esp soooooooo late into the vacation.
Agree? Disagree? need opinions please on this or should I just chill out and do some laundry when we all roll into The Great Wolfe Lodge (williamsburg, Va which is 48 hours prior to my departure back into Texas).
I am finishing up doing some last minute shoppping for this trip and figure I will zipper up my suitcase in 10 days:banana:. I know, I am such the fanatic planner but I realize it is sooooooooo helpful to go this route so you don't have to fiddle with last minute things and you can enstead focus in on having one wonderful time on yer vacation:cloud9:.
oh and about China, yes, I have read some fellow DISsers trip reports on it and yes, it sounds wonderful :cloud9:.

If ya want, ya can read along on my ABD pre-trippy trip report - it's listed below.

p.s. I am 2nd seating dining on this cruise.

If you need any ideas for restaurants while you are in philly let me know. There are a lot of great restaurants in olde city.
