60+? for a Wailulu ADR at a reasonable time?

Does anyone know how many days into an on-site stay you can get a reasonable dinner ADR at Wailulu? 60+ how many days? Would like a time that starts with a 6 or a 7. We don’t actually care about fireworks but we can’t sit down for dinner at 9:30. We are actually staying at the Poly - I know that doesn’t help but just as an explanation of why we don’t just “eat somewhere else.”

Thanks.

I had no issues booking Wailulu for dinner in January at less than 60 days. I haven't looked recently, but there was lots of availability.

What time of the year are staying? I just booked for mid-May, 60+3 and I pretty much had my choice for a Monday.

I couldn’t get a decent time for a party of 2 at 60+3 on a Wednesday in late April so it seems quite hit and miss.

I had no luck this morning for my whole trip ( 6 days ) . Going to keep checking as it gets closer and may try walk up if needed

Did you try booking for 3 or 4? I looked for a party of 2 when booking at less than 60 days (offsite that trip) for February and found absolutely nothing. When I looked for a party of 3, the schedule was almost wide open, and showing up with only 2 for the ADR I made for a party of 3 wasn't a bit of a problem.

That’s so disappointing! How is even possible that enough people have reservations longer than 6 days to take all the reservations?

I will take a look when my window opens but I will have a backup plan for sure. I don’t actually care that much - it’s just onsite for our trip so it would have been convenient. If not oh well.

If you don’t find anything for your party size, try looking for a larger party size, especially if your party is an odd number of guests. For instance, if there are 5 of you, look for a table for 6. Or if there are only 2 of you, look for a table for 3 or 4. I was surprised to find lots of availability for 3 when there wasn’t any for 2.

I did as the above suggested and changed party size from 2 to 3 . After doing this , several options popped up .

They don't have reservations for 2 for some reason. Make one for 3 or 4 people.

I have had zero luck getting ay type of reservation here for our trip April 11-17. I have 2 separate reservation finder services set up and have had not a single notification of an opening. I have used then in the past and never had NO notifications. I have done some looking and never actually seen a reservation available for any dates. Is it really booking up that fast?

are wailulu walk ups still a thing since they switched to reservations?
We had a reservation but had to switch our park plans so we are looking for another day and nothing is available... since we will be staying at the Polynesian, we could probably put our name on the list and wait 1+hour... is that a realistic plan?

Wailulu has a walk up waitlist which is usually available for lunch with little wait. Dinner waits are longer, but possible. For example, right now, (Sunday 3/29, 3:45pm) the only ADR available is for 9:45 tonight, but the waitlist shows a 10 min wait right now. I have seen dinner times show up on the waitlist with a wait of 30-50 minutes.

As always, YMMV.

Are you trying to get a reservation for 2? Wailulu does not take reservations for two. Select a party size of 3. Right now, I'm seeing ADRs for every day of your trip for 3 people.
