So lots seem to be doing the DOC DANCE!! Is there anyone who DOESN'T have their DOCs yet?

I don't know! We are away camping this weekend (I'm using my sister's laptop right now). We left on Friday, there was nothing in the mail that day, but they could have come yesterday. I won't know until I get home tonight. I hope they are there!

I have 136 individual participants on the FE Group A list, is that correct?

I've been working on my FE's. In Group A, Finx's stateroom number is the only one that I am missing also. Can't wait for Janice's maps to be posted so I can double check everything. Thank you in advance Janice!

no docs here yet either. Does anyone know if they all come FedEx? FedEx doesn't deliver on Monday, so I'm hoping no. But, if it is FedEx, I'll be home to sign for them on Tuesday. I guess they'll get here when they get here.

I believe they are only sent Fed Ex for international shipments. Ours came regular US Mail.

Oh, and did we ever find out Finx's stateroom number?

I finished the ToT clues last night, I am stitching my tie-dye shirts now and moving on to lanyard tag printing later this afternoon! We are also looking at the Dream deck plans and deciding what areas we want to rebook on the Fantasy!

No coin press machines on the ship that we know of. The one place that might have one that we don't visit is Quarter Masters which is the game room on deck 9 mid-ship (my girls aren't into video games).

I would think the terminal is a place they would have one, but don't remember seeing one there either. As Missy said, "If there was one we would have pressed a coin".

Oh well, that's one of our favorite souvenirs.

My next question was going to be about the video arcade, so thanks for anticipating that!

Yes, like you said in blue above. Those are just the A folks who want to give to everyone on both lists, they only need one gift in return.

Does anyone know if there are pressed coin machines on board? DH wants to be ready if there are.

Lol, since I work at Fedex Ex, I can confirm they work on Monday. We are only not open on Sundays and Major US Holiday. That said, DCL send domestics packages through the US mail. The Internationals are sent via Fedex Ex. Based on when when we got ours, they mailed it on Sept 22. We got them on the 25th, but its not uncommon for shipments from Fl to take about 5 business days. The shipments to Canada were done one day prior. UK is generally a 1 or 2 day transit based on customs. Normally, I shy away from anything that has to do with my company, but I can honestly say that I have grinned a bit when I saw that shipments were going through to the international folks.

From a shippers point of view, its interesting to see the different contracts that various Disney LLCs have. For instance, more Disney Store shipping is UPS, Disney Photopass is Fedex, and the DCL is well.. we all know now.

Gosh it has been so long since I have posted. With the kids out of school all summer, I was constantly busy and now that the kids are back in school, I finally got back to the boards and have had tons of reading to do here to catch up... 100 pages!!! I was sorry to read that Leslie and Dennis would not be joining us on the cruise. Prayers for their families. I LOVE the lanyards!!!! They look awesome!!!! I can't believe how soon we will be leaving for the cruise. I got our documents in the regular mail yesterday. The kids Halloween costumes came this week. Bobby insisted on being Wolverine and Alyssa is dressing up as Jasmine. I guess I can start thinking about packing!!!!

Passage of time, I wonder if I should do a little countdown Calendar with Tim for "our trip to Washington". The only thing currently, timewise, he asks daily "How many more days till....."

I nearly forgot about the New Countdown Calendar. I'm sure that you all remember the old picture of the Horrible mickeys of bagillion on my son's door.

This was a bad idea as it just became this big door of Mickey's of which 1/2 fell down the other half was all white walls.

Then I PROMISED my kid that we would clean this up one day. I kept telling him "next week man." About a 2 1/2 weeks ago, I decided it was time. This was the story about the Mickey button that he wants to give to Mickey so here is the unfinished and finished products.

Empathizing with those without their docs - ours too haven't arrived! Gonna email our TA to see if she's received them...but a little bit of anxiety setting in now that we're within 30 days of departure and still without!!

I thought FedEx HOME did not deliver on Mondays. That's what I meant by my comment about them not delivering on Mondays.

Yeah Correct the HOME division does not. However, it would be highly unlikely that that division would be used for such high importance. This sort of confusion with the different products is a increasing annoyance with us that are employed by corporate. Corporate says, the customer understands, which many times the shipper does but the Receiptiants do not.

What's the difference? FedEx is a big corporation with a bunch of sister companies. All have different networks and such. I work for the FedEx Express division. None of us own routes. Anything that has a time specific time it needs to be at someplace we get it there. The FedEx Ground Division runs Mon-Friday, own their own routes, and mirrors UPS non-air packages. FedEx Home (confuses even me) runs T-Sat, but they deal with a lot of Signature packages from what I'm told. They own their routes. From what I'm told they work odd hours so they can get Signature Requireds off. You can even schedule them to a specific time. The thing is we in Express have no real idea why they exist.

Confused yet? It can get a lot worse, we have another 3-4 divisions. The reason why we all can't be one company comes down to one thing, a airline company can't own a trucking company. This is why there are "sister companies."

Got home from our weekend trip and can now confirm that our cruise docs were delivered yesterday!

Regular mail from DCL, not FedEx.

I have to call DCL to adjust our flight time going home. I was notified that the flight has been pushed back by another 25 minutes. We already had a later flight...it looks like we are going to be spending a lot of time in the MCO airport on 11/6.

Northern NJ docs in the mail yesterday!!! Came home to them after a long day in NYC with King Tut... Came regular USPS.... in the mail box... no FedEx this year!!!! And straight from DCL... not my TA!

I am so excited now... the time is almost here and I can taste my Pineapple Mojito already!!

Well - at least my personal "to do" list is getting shorter as the cruise comes closer.

Booked hotels for the way down to Florida (staying one night in Port Huron MI and then one night in Forsyth GA) and for the way home (one night in Clinton TN).

Completed, printed and signed the cruise contract and put it into my American purse.

New swimsuits purchased.

New (cheap) jewelry purchased to go with formal dresses.

Now if only I could get my work "to do" list down to a reasonable length, I'd be happy. For some reason, every time I have a vacation planned, things get super busy and I spend so much of my time and energy trying to get things under control so I can leave with a clear desk (and conscience).
