Well after wainting and waiting free dining has been announced and our dates are blocked OUT!!!!!!!!!!! Very upset. We have already booked our flight with Jet Blue and I am not sure if we can adjust the dates. Does anyone know if we arrive in Dis on the 2nd do you get the free dining for the length of your stay. The "wonderful" cast member i got yesterday wasnt sure? Who should I ask then?

If you arrive and check in on a good day then the FD is good for your entire stay even if the rest of the days are black outs.

Got it!! Had to switch from WL CL to Boardwalk Inn CL but saved $1500-!! Am so excited I could cry! Husband doesn't quite get it!

Yes, you will get it for your whole stay if you check in on the 2nd. Call back and talk to another CM.

Its odd none of the cms seem to have a clue whats going on! I honestly dont get it? The one I spoke to didnt even have any of the codes for free dining then the computer system stalled.I had to give him the codes for FD from mouse savers! He told me he was off the last 4 days off, he is the 3rd cm to tell me this in 2 days. Very odd. It's like no one has a clue whats going on over there!
Def call today thought to have your trip switched if you are checking in on dec 2nd it is good for your stay!

Added free dining to our reservations today! Yay!! Our dates are 19-26 Dec at POFQ. I was holding out a small hope that our check-in date would be included if they extended free dining, but I wasn't really expecting it, and now I've saved money that I will still probably spend at Disney.

We have a 2 BR at BCV booked for the last wk of October. I called yesterday at noon to see if I could get FD on our reservation and the CM told me there was no more availability for the BCV 2BR's! I couldn't believe that they were all taken just hours after FD was announced! It actually wasn't that big of a discount for us, so I was hoping to wait for a room discount. I thought that I would at least put the FD discount on my reservation and then wait hopefully for a room discount. I guess I will really have to watch for further discounts and call quickly!

It is entirely possible that they never included that class of rooms in the promotion. They allot a certain number of specific sorts of rooms they want to include in the promotions. If the 2 BR units are in high demand and expected to sell out regardless of the presence of a discount, then they won't include them.

I was able to put a reservation for the POLY on hold today ( I don't have to pay the $200 deposit till the 14th) It was the free dining promo, Nov 27- Dec 1 for a garden view (at that time he said they had lagoon and MK view, as well) It saved me just under $500. Still hoping for a 40% code, I think for our family it would save me a few more dollars.

I was told I had that pin code too, but after seeing free dining was announced, I decided I should call again to see if I could use it earlier. After waiting on hold for 40 minutes, the CM told me there was nothing attached to my name or to my household. He also said that there is no way to tell of pins for the future and that I could call back at a later date to check. I asked him why I would have been told there was a code last week and he said that they never know ahead of time and he doesn't know how someone could have gotten that information. I'm so upset I can't sleep tonight...

This is exactly why I asked for the specific numbers on my pin. I wrote them down... somewhere... so i can call back to get details...

well there was good news and bad news for me today! we wanted to go nov 9th thru the 14th....but free dining was blacked out thru the 11th. so i booked for the 12th thru 18th...YAY thats the good!!! our first disney trip as a family and we got free dining!!

the bad was we wanted to be there the 10th for my nephews bday and now we wont be there that day. but oh well...hes only turning 3 so he wont know any better!

We're also celebrating my DD 3rd b'day... we're going Oct 27-Nov1 and her bday is Sept 6, she doesn't care!

Looks like at least some people have been changing their dates because of the extended FD. Prior to the extension, our dates for POFQ were totally booked, now it's available again! I hope that continues to make people change and then maybe they'll open up the FD for 10/10 to 10/18 too!

Am I the only one who got the pin code for FD attached to my name?? I am going during a black out period and the CM I spoke to today (confirmed by my TA at AAA later in the day) said I have pin code attached to my name for free dining during the black out period (mid October), but it is not "active" until July 13th. So TA will call on the 13th and get the pin applied.

There is hope for those going during a blackout!

I called today to check again since I thought maybe I should book the current offer and was again told to wait until the 13th and use my pin code because it would give me free regular dining, not counter service. Also, it did not sound like there would be any black outs. Hope this helps someone.

I'm also told I have a July 13th pin that will good during the blackout dates. I'm really hoping it's true, but I am probably going anyway, so I went ahead and just made all my ADR's. Prefer to beat the PIN rush if possible. There was a CRT for 8am on the day I want, but I don't want to pre-pay... guess I will take my chances on that one. Hoping with just two of us, that it won't be hard to secure that ressie afterall.

I hope you are right. I was told last week that I had a pin that would be for FD, but I had to wait until the 13th to book- she didn't give me any specifics. Last night when I called to see about blackout dates I was told that there is nothing attached to my name and they wouldn't be able to know about it ahead of time anyway. I was very disappointed and frustrated that I was told about the pin if it doesn't exist! Hoping I was talking with a CM that didn't know where to find new pins.

I don't know if that is why when I called today and asked about that specific code that the cm was able to confirm. I won't be totally comfortable until the 13th arrives and I actually have it booked

I do not know how much good carma you have but I called and they told me that the CM that gave me my first info about the PIN attached to our name should not have given it out and also never told me about a PIN at all. I was the nicest I could be. AND NOTHING, NOT EVEN A SNIF......I can not beleive how secret they make this to be. I am starting to loose faith and wonder what kind of chanel marketing this really is.

Belle, I believe I have met you and your husband on a trip a few years ago. I think it was at AK and I might even have a picture for my collection.

I would rather have the QS dining so they might offer me the regular. If I could I would swap with you. I do not like being tied down and do not eat that much.
