Oct 3 - Dec 30 FD & Code Watch (Only)

We are going with a Grand Gathering this October. Everyone else is checking in Oct 9th until the 17th so I would love a discount for them! My DH and I are going 1 week earlier and will book the current free dining for 14 days but will change if a % off deal is better!
 
Everyone - call and see if you have a pin attached to your name!

I've heard that advice a billion times - called in March and April no pin.

Called today and YES .... I have what they are calling "choose your deal " attached to my name. It was 30/30/40 on room only OR free dining (QS for values, regular for mods/ deluxes) OR I think a kids deal (I cut her off on that one politely - our 'kid' is 10 aka disney adult).

So do call if you haven't recently - I took the FD and booked POFQ for Nov 29 - Dec 3!

Forgot to add - she said I should have received an e-mail about the deal - I didn't! So do call!!
 

Never received an email either...and had a pin for free dining for fall in my name..woohoo! Thanks for the extra push to pick up the phone and call.:worship: It expires 5/26.

I just called and there was nothing new for me, but I did find out that they had my email address wrong.:headache: Once she corrected it, we got to talking about what I was looking for. I told her free dining, and she said they are working on PINS for free dining and to look for an email soon. She also said to make sure I went to the WDW website to show I was interested. Not sure if it will help, but I did that so now I'll wait and see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed for a free dining PIN.
 
I'm already booked with the 35% off room pin that I got, and I'm happy with that, but I really really want FD. So...I just got off the phone and there's nothing attached to my or DH's name. I asked about extended FD being offered again this year and the CM told me "to keep checking". I told her that's not a problem because I check about 50 x per day. :laughing:
 
Just called and the CM had me so excited!!! She was saying how she was going to see if she could get me free dining and how she was so lucky...OMG!! Then she said oh, that offer expires on Oct.2! I was like "yeah, I know"! I was hoping I had another PIN!

Anyway, she said that they extended it last year, and that I should just wait and watch the internet, then call back and modify. Sounds good, right??!!
 
Okay one more question about this pin thing! I just had my husband call and he had the same pin I recieved last month, the room discount. We are currently using that discount. My question is, are all family members connected in the system in a way that we wouldn't have different pins? I'm trying to figure out if I should call or if I'll just get the same answer he did. :confused: I know there will still be the one pin attached but was REALLY hoping for FD.
 
So, I just called (and I've called about 5 other times) to see if I had a PIN code. And we had FREE QUICK SERVICE DINING!!! I had booked two rooms at Pop. Our reservation (2A,2C) was a package with the regular dining plan, but I left my mother in law and brother's room as a room only reservation, since she doesn't eat much. Well, she was the one who had the quick service dining PIN. We had no email or postcard letting us know this. So, I upgraded her to a package and all of us to regular dining. The castmember said it's a good thing I called b/c the PIN expired 5/26. We saved $672 dollars on our reservation alone! Thanks to all of you DISers who said to keep calling!
 
The number I called was 1 407 W Disney (1 407 934 7639)

The person I talked to asked for my last name and zip code and the pin was under my name. However, if you have family members with different last names be sure to ask about them.

It was attached to the 3rd e-mail address I had registered on the Disney site (just FYI)

I knew what I wanted to book - POFQ and what discount would help us out the most (FD - had to purchase a one day ticket per person) and what else I'd like to see - 30% or more room discount. So when she gave me the options (FD, 30% off or some kids discount) - I was able to just go ahead and book (FD) immediately.

We received a pin for 30% off our reservation for Pops, but would love a pin for free dining instead!!!


Don't forget a pin can be applied to an existing reservation-we already had our reservations when we received the email w/the pin-our TA confirmed it and deducted $250.00 from the price of our package!:cool1:
