Count me in on the wait...we're hoping to go 10/29-11/2 for Halloween and a birthday celebration for our dd.

Our friends just got the PIN for 40% off "Monster" deal but aren't going to use it...oh the irony!!

I'm going to call tomorrow to see if we lucked out and have a pin we just haven't found out about yet...

Is the free dining pin emailed only for people with the dvisa?

No. I have a Disney Visa and I NEVER get pin codes. It's competely random.

I feel your pain. Here I sit, waiting anxiously and my brother gets pins all the time. Even though his wife works for Disney and therefore gets up to 50% off rooms, they have free park tickets and they get 35% off all meals. So they don't need a pin and will never use it.

So while I spend my time checking all my stupid yahoo accounts and filling out fake itineraries on Disney's site, he spends his time tossing out his not needed pin code offers!

It would be funny if it wasn't so aggravating.

We will be at Pop first week of December 10.and booked this in Jan 10. We just got the FD offer e-mail pin code for this period and have applied to our res.

No. I have a Disney Visa and I NEVER get pin codes. It's competely random.

I just recently got the Disney visa debit card for opening a new checking acct. w/Chase bank. Before I did, I never got a pin code ever. I guess I go basically every year, why give me a break.

We'll be in WDW from Oct. 14th until the 17th and we are desperately hoping for FD for those dates, too!

After reading about pins and codes, never actually getting one myself I decided to call Disney and see if one was attached to my name, ( I read about being able to do that) so I call, tell them about my booked trip for the dates Dec 3-10. they look and violoa! I have a pin...it's for kids eat free during my dates. But I don't have any kids going with me so it doesn't really work for me, but.... I got a pin and I was so excited, even if I can't use it.

The CM told me it was still pretty early and he was sure some kind of deal would come out later this summer that would work for me during my dates and to just hold strong and have a magical day.

I have renewed hope cause yay! I at least got a pin, and words of encouragement from a CM.

Well, We booked!! Called the other day 9 nights in PO Riverside for a grand gathering Dec6-15. When I asked if they had a pin for me he said not right now, but not to worry, he was very confident that a deal would be annouced at some point for the dates we would be there. So that was encouraging.
He also said that sometimes if you order the planning video it can trigger a pin code for you. So we ordered another one!

I finally gave up and went ahead and booked as well! The cm I spoke with said the same thing your guy did. She said probably within the next 2-4 weeks general public deals would be released. I hope she's right. Except I booked a CBR pirate room and she said those go so quick I might have a hard time keeping that reservation under a pin. Great. Oh well, surely something will come out soon for us all!!!

I caved and went ahead and booked AKL using the AAA discount.... 10% is better than nothing I guess. I'm still keeping an eye out for something better. I booked using SWV so they'll have my back as well.... in case I miss something. I was hoping for FD but now I think a room-only discount would be the better deal for us in the end.

I may have " joined" the watch earlier ( i can't remember lol) but we're going to arrive in WDW on Oct. 5th. This is the first time we missed FD in the last 8 trips ; 0 ) We're hoping for free dining so we have some spare cash for extras.

I got the monster code in snail mail today. Still Free dining works MUCH better for us. If we use the monster code, it doesn't cover al lthe dates I want. I want to be there for DD's b-day on 12/10 and the monster code starts hte 12. I do have a 20 % off pin so we could do 3 days 20% off and 4 with 40% off, but free dining comes out a much better deal.

I decided to go ahead and book today and hope that they would tell me there was a discount attached to my name- and to my surprise- there WAS!!!


Woo Hoo! We are officially booked with 40% off rooms at the contemporary, Dec. 12th-Dec 17th!!

So......... it can't hurt to call and just see.
Let them know you are a calling to see how much a vacation you are looking at taking will cost and maybe they will come up with a discount for you?!

I got a 40% off discount code, that I was able to use with my AAA travel agent. Saved about $700 off our package. If FD comes out that would be great too.

Got my monster savings in mail yesterday. After getting ahold of a AAA agent , i'm working to apply that to vac planned for end nov-first dec. Still holding out hope for FD . Anyone else have major difficulties getting ahold of AAA agent today?
