It was exciting for me to realize last night that this is the weekend to make our 180 days out ADR's (Chef Mickeys and CRT).

Do we have a list started yet of where people are staying pre and post cruise? It would be great if we could have a mini meet before getting on the ship.

There are a few of us not staying at Disney but are staying at the port the night before. Laura, Laura's family,Andrea,Terri, Terri's extended family, Me, my sister in law family are staying at the same hotel. Gotta be as close as possible cause ya know us Disney freaks gotta be there as early as possible. If I could sleep on the ground next to the entrance gate I would...hmmm ok maybe not cause boy would I look rough!

Nothing much going on here, I have to dog sit for my Aunt for the next 5 nights! So u will find me on here or FB alot. It's hard when U aren't at ur own home to do things. Anything new with anyone?

We are flying in Weds night, doing MNSSHP on Thursday night, F&W on Friday and then driving to the Port Friday night. We are staying at WL on Weds & Thurs and then at Four Points by Sheraton on Friday night.

I am just anxiously awaiting SWs rates on 4/14 so I can get my flights, rental cars, and figure out what we are doing after the cruise. I'm starting to think maybe Universal (don't flame me!) since I won one of the free passes during the Superbowl and we will be back to Disney in January. Just for something different, but a lot depends on our flights home.

I can't believe it is only 6 more months!!!!!!!!!

My family is coming in late Thurs night and just staying at the Hyatt at the airport. Then renting our car Friday Morning after breakfast, and heading to Downtown Disney to get the kids autograph books, maybe a little Disney outlet shopping and then to check in to our hotel for some relaxation, dinner, meet up with some new friends and then try & sleep for the night but I am sure that won't happen...I can never sleep the night before!

Does anyone know where the best Disney outlet to visit is? I have heard of a few but I want some advice on where to go! Well off to curl up under the heating blanket...brrr it has gotten rainy and COLD here!

I just realized that we are doing the exact same cruises! This one and the trans. How crazy is that?

I know that I asked you on here before if you were doing the WB Transatlantic as well, but I think at the time you were no longer doing this cruise. There will be one cruise in between those two cruises as well as we are just waiting for the right moment to book the EB Transatlantic.

I am sorry to rain on your parade, but Chef Mickey's, etc. has now gone to 90 days as well. This is from a sticky on the restaurant board:

There is a temporary exception to the 90 day rule. CRT, Chef Mickey and Victoria & Albert's can apparently be booked up through June 19th 2009. This is a fixed date, and as soon as it's 90 days prior to June 19, they will be on the same 90 day schedule as all other locations.

Post cruise we will be staying at AKV for 4 nights followed by 5 nights at OKW. Pre-cruise is still up in the air. I think the most likely scenario is 3 nights Crowne Plaza Orlando Airport (we love the pool there, there is plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the Florida Mall is closeby).

I love the Disney Outlet at Orlando Premium Outlets.

Corinna---do they have lots of good deals at the outlet? I was just hoping to maybe get a FEW things for people for Xmas, stuff like that. Is there any cruise clearance there or just WDW? Well anything u know about it feel free to share! Thanks!

Just WDW, but they do often have stuff that is still sold at the parks, but with heavy discounts. They also have some stuff that has been discontinued in the parks. YOu never no what treasures you will find. A couple of years ago I got a figment t shirt there for $9.99 that I found the following day at Epcot for $29.99

I forgot to tell what our plans are: Arrive at BLT on Thursday, do MNSSSHP on Thursday night (yippee). After the cruise we are booked at OKW but waitlisted for BWV. We want to be closer to EPCOT for the F&W.

Well Good Morning all!! Just a cold day here in Ohio...they say that it's gonna be 50 but it's breezy....snow possible Monday night....it's flippen April...OMG what is the weather thinking. Sure making my cruise wait drag cause I tell you it would go faster if it would get nicer and I could be outside!
For the next 4nts/5days I am dog sitting for my Aunt and her BFF. 6 dogs!! Hey she pays me to do it cause I am way cheaper then a kennel! I hope to put 50.00 in my savings for the cruise. Things have been tough so money is real tight, so I am not sure that we will be able to do the dolphin excursion in Cozumel. I hope just to stash 50 a pay check in the savings over the summer, I know it's a small amount but that is the kind ya dont miss...ya know!

Annette...U live in Lansing..where do you fly out from? We are flying outta Detroit. We got a good deal on Northwest so I didn't wait for SWA to release their flights...I think that's on April 14th.

Well I am off to the grocery store....TTFN

Yup, we fly from Detroit. It is less expensive than Lansing. We usually fly Spirit. They have great fares. We can usually get the fares for about $250 (including fees) for both of us.

Annette , I usually fly spirit too...that's where I get my $84 rt for all 4 of us....some we pay u to fly promo they had one time. This time we got Northwest for $122. per person total, thats after all the fees and taxes for thurs night( saved us from pulling the kids from school on thurs.) So I figured not to bad and they had flights that worked.

Ok well not that it matters that I am here. Just talking to myself. Boy the weather stinks here. (oh sorry to hear that Michelle. ) Today was PTO meeting and I was notiminated to be the cordinator of volunteers for next yr. (Wow very cool Michelle)

Sorry just a little sarcasm(sp)! Hope everyone is doing well. U all should really need a cruise with how busy u all are. i am hoping the fact that Easter should be sunny and 55 is a sign of warmth to come. We have a Easter egg hunt, where the kids hunt for eggs with toys in em or money. I have a feeling we will be inside doing this instead of using all the land my family has, since it's been so wet and snowing, the ground will be muddy and not a pretty site on Easter! Well i am off to have my dinner(kids feed). I have to go stay with the dogs again tonight...wow after tonight 1 more night. For those of you with big dogs....so sorry! Though I have to ask....How can U let a dog kiss you after he/she has licked their own bottom? Gagaga Gross!

Ok TTFN

Hi Michelle. It's back to cold and raiing here too! At least it's not snow. I don't know what we're doing for Easter yet. Maybe a little hunt, maybe some food.

well today was opening day. Too bad it got rained out. I guess that I'll have to root for who ever is playing the Yankees.. :rotfl:

Well Laura I hope we both get a little warmth for Easter! We have about 25 of us for Easter and 8 are kiddos under 9, so it's always a blast. We do alot in fact I think our kids think it's think their bdays or xmas...just down scaled a bit.

Well I am down to one more night of dog sitting! Hope you all have a great day! TTYL

Hey Everyone,

There is only one word to describe the weather in northern AL right now-COLD!!! April is suppose to be a lot warmer than it is now.

Michelle, congrats on the PTO nomination. I've served as an officer 3 different times at 2 different schools. As a teacher and as a parent, it is greatly appreciated that you are willing to do this. My one piece of advice is to start as soon as you can and to stay organized. It will greatly help.

We have today and tomorrow and then our testing will be over. I don't know which is more tiring: testing or a regular day of teaching. I know I am ready to get back to a normal routine.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Gena

Thanks Gena....I worked the PTO this yr pretty involved but not an officer. I am a pretty anal organized person so prolly right for the job. If you haven't noticed the anal organized one of the thread...hello pick me! LOL Sydney has OAT testing the week after Easter. She did a practice test and only missed three so I have to look over what was missed and go over with her. U teach 3rd or 4th I forgot....I will hunt you down on the cruise if I have a problem with homework..LOL j/k Though I have to say as a parent it has become harder to help cause they change the way it's taught...like we called it rounding they call it regrouping. And honestly somethings I have forgotten. She's doing simple algebra now in 3rd, what is gonna happen in 8th grade? I will feel stupid!

Well snow/sleety today.....yuk!

Good Morning all! Well it's afternoon for most of you now. I am at the orthodontist with Ashley (retainer check) and they have a computer, so I thought I would pop in and say "Hi". Way to go Michelle!! When I think of the word organized your name pops into my head, so I'm sure you will be great at it!
I wont mention our weather...really I wont. I'm starting to feel guilty about it. Oops gotto go, ortho calling....

Hi all! It's been very busy here. With the end of tax season next Wednesday my job is extremely stressful right now. We've gotten about 5 of the 15 tax returns done and are sending out 2 more today so we're doing well. The good thing is, if we can't get them all accomplished we can file an extension. Although I don't wanna file extensions because that just adds more work after the tax season. :( Anyway, with that, getting new carpet, looking for new living room furniture, moving furniture back into place, etc. by the time I have a moment at the computer I'm exhausted. I'm hoping after next week that all this will be behind me and I'll have more time to chat here. :)

The hubby has to go in for periodontal surgery next Thursday so I'm not looking forward to that. I'm sure he's not looking forward to it either.

I have the girl's semi-formal dresses and they match. :) I bought them for Easter and they are beautiful on the girls so I thought I'd convince my 6-1/2 year old to wear hers with her sister for semi-formal night. :) I found the most gorgeous dress for me for formal night and will probably order that tomorrow or Thursday. :) I'm very excited about that. :) I'm going to try to find an outfit with the coloring of the girl's dresses so we look good together for pictures for semi-formal night. We'll see. I've still gotta get my act together and buy my FE gifts and start putting them together. Not to mention doing t-shirts for our family. Hopefully that is something I can focus my attention to in the next month. :)

I could definitely use a cruise right now. Tax season stresses me out.

Well, gotta get back to the lovely world of tax returns. :) Talk atcha later! Kristi

OK, I'm back to finish up my post before I was so rudely interupted by the orthodontist--whatever! Well, Ashley has "graduated" from the ortho, she doesn't have to go back anymore! Just in time for Riley to start going.
It's official, I have started buying stuff for FE gifts! :cool1: I stopped by the dollar store on our way home and made a few purchases for the kids. I know something else I'm getting, but I'm going to wait until it gets a little closer since they are edible. I also have new pj's for everyone in the family. And the other day I took Bailey to get her passport photo :thumbsup2, it came out soooo cute. Now I just have to figure out when to apply. Since both parents have to be there I think I might have to drive to Oakland and meet Ryan during his lunch (at the post office) to apply. It's starting to feel real, now that I'm doing all this stuff.
We've been busy in the yard. All the dirt is gone, 7 dump loads! We have the sand down and will start laying the pavers tonight. We went to Home Depot and bought the first round of them last night. The girls and I just unloaded them from the back of the truck to the back yard, while Ryan was at work. It's going to take us at least two more trips since the weight is too much for Ryans truck. The girls and I are getting ready to head back for the second load. Good thing they are on Spring Break, especially Riley, she's a good little helper!
Well, I hope everyone has a great day! I will check in later, after I exausted myself moving thousands of pounds of pavers. :rotfl:

Andrea....you deserve all the work of luggin the pavers after hogging all the nice weather. :rotfl2:

Well I was busy today but got a start on my shirts. the Kendyl one is for my cousin for Easter, she's 2 and loves abby cadaby(sp). The other one is Nelia's shirt for boarding day. Thats the back of the shirt and then I will have something on the front when I get it made. Now I have 7 more shirts to go! I should have at least 4 done in the next week or so. Well have a goodnight!
