Andrea...Glad you had a safe and wonderful trip to Neveda! I hope you are having fun with the pavers...haha U deserve that for your nice temps there. Please share some, turn on your fan and point it this way. Maybe some will blow our way. Good luck finding your dresses for riley. Sydney is dieing for Riley to reply....share the computer!

Me I need something for pirate night. The kids are dressing up, DH has a skull embroidered polo shirt and me nothing. I msy just wear a little black dress or something. Prolly something black, red, and white cause that is what the girls are in and DH's polo is red. Easter was good for us. We went to my cousin's(more like a sis) and had an easter egg hunt, scavenger clue hunt for easter baskets, and pinyata. The kids are like,,"this is just as good as Christmas" Yeah I guess we have always gone a bit overboard! Traditions just dont change, guess thats why they are traditions!

Corinna....I hope you have fun , though I am jealous. I could use the vacation!

Kristi--- love your formal!! Also Lily's dress is gorgeous....

I can assure you that the vacation is well needed and well deserved here as well. I am just about ready to commit murder at work. :headache:

Pirate night is giving me a bit of a challenge as well. I am leaning towards long skirt, corsage top and some kind of sash around the waist.

Formal night I have covered. Here is a link for my dress:

The colour is slightly deceptive as it is brighter and more of an antique gold, but very pretty.

Thanks all for your sweet comments about the dresses. :) I found Katelin's dress but haven't ordered it yet. Gonna try to get that accomplished this week. I'm right now in the process of cleaning the house up more than usual to get ready for the new living room furniture to arrive. :) Can't wait to have it here. We bought in Friday. We've got a loveseat, oversized chair (actually, the chair is almost the size of a loveseat), ottoman and side table. Thank you tax refund! :)

Corinna - I LOVE your dress! :) It's beautiful! :) Thanks for sharing. :)

Well, back to tax returns I go. Thank Goodness it's all over after tomorrow! :) Have a great day all! Kristi

Morning everyone. Hope you are having a good tax return day. I'm officially done with the tax returns my office works on so I'm happy. :)

It's rainy and 40's here in Harrisburg.

My dress arrived last night. It's beautiful and made my BFF Trina choke up. :) Good sign I'd say. The only problem is the top of the dress was made for someone who is planning to wear shoulder pads (you know the kind football players wear). LOL :lmao: I'm going to have to take it to the tailor. Figure I'll wait til late August to do that, you know, just in case I lose some poundage.

I do have to complain though. I've been working on finding our dresses and such and I was sharing with my husband last night and he just didn't get it. He thought I was rushing things in a big way and he wasn't mentally there so he didn't get it. He frustrated me so. Why do some men need to be like this? I just don't get it. :confused3 Soooo, it looks like I'm the only one in my household who is getting excited about all of this (the baby doesn't understand and Lil just wants to go now so she gets frustrated when I tell her it's still 5+ days away). Whaaaaaaaaaaaa (here me whining).

Okay, I feel a little better now. :) Thanks for listening.

Well it's back to work mode for me. Take it easy all! Kristi

Kristi....5+ months dear not days.....now U are gonna get us all to cry over here. I don't think any DH's get it. I get excited everytime I find something and Del just says"oh nice" NICE!!!! ummm it's great I say!

Things are a bit stressful here. Post office has no overtime so that is hurting our paycheck. Needless to say I am looking for a job. Nothing fancy, I mean I have applied to work nights at Walmart. It's hard sometimes finding something when DH works 7-6pm and I have to work around that, and we want me home daily with the girls! I am so glad we paid off the cruise. DH said well we would have that money from the cruise and I said "do you wanna take away the ONE thng our family is looking forward to this year" He said of course not. We will just cut things out, no dolphins, no major shopping for me...really I don't care. I am just happy to be on the boat. We have never felt so stressed, so the cruise is a blessing to remove us from reality! Anyhow, sorry about ranting....I hope everyone is having a good day! TTFN

Oooops, sorry about the days thing. No wonder she gets so excited. LOL (Would roll on the floor laughing here but it's the office.... I wouldn't roll on this floor no matter what). I am so sorry to get you all upset. It's months, yes, months. BUT, it used to be over a year so I'm not gonna complain too much.

Michelle - I'm so sorry to hear that things are rough for you guys. :( So glad your cruise is all paid for. I agree with you. As long as I'm on the boat, the extras are just that, extras. Not a necessity. I'm happy to just sit and lounge or play with the kids onboard. :) I'll keep your family in my prayers that things will pick up at your husband's job and that if you do work an evening/part-time job those funds will just be used as fun money. :)

I will admit it's nice to know I'm not alone in the husband department. They are so so...male. LOL Now, if the tables were turned and they had some sports event they were waiting to go to they would be upset with us for not "sharing" in their excitement. Go figure. :)

Oh well, life moves on right? :) Blessings to everyone! Kristi

Good Morning all.

I know I haven't been on for a while, between our "flood", getting the house put back together and being in Oregon all last week for spring break - I've been busy. But I have accomplished quite a bit. I have a new bathroom and new carpet in half of the downstairs, kind of feels like a new house.

I made our flight reservations yesterday, Southwest opened up flights to October. I had two free roundtrip vouchers so only had to purchase one roundtrip. I bought Amaya a dress for formal night, found a good deal at Nordstrom Rack in Oregon. And I found her a dress at Target that I think she can wear for semi-formal night. So she is set, I'm set, just need to get DH a suit, he wants to wait a while because he's trying to lose a little weight. I figured out what I'm doing for the adult FE gifts...now I need to find us a FE. I was going to try to get together with Nina (the friend that is cruising with my sister) while in Oregon but she was working so much we never had a chance. She is very crafty and we were going to try and figure out how to make one...guess I better get shopping. :cool1:

I love all the dresses that everyone has been posting - it has me even more excited. It sounds like we can all use a vacation huh? Is it October yet? :yay:

Andrea - have you told Michelle about the weather we are supposed to have this weekend?

Well I've got to go wake up Amaya and then get ready for work :headache: I hope everyone has a good day.

Terri

:headache:O yes Terri , let's make Michelle's day even worse by telling her it's like 90 there and it's like 50 and rain here......:lmao: That is just cruel....feed you both to the sharks I say!!:yay: i love all your dresses, it makes me more excited to go.

thanks for the prayers Kristi.....lets hope someone calls me and the hours work out for us. Also that they are understanding about me being gone for 11 days in October.....cause pay or no pay I am outta here!!! They prolly wont care when I say I will take vacation without pay since I wouldn't have enough racked at that point anyhow....

Well have a great day!!:)

Sorry Michelle, I wasn't trying to make your day worse. Don't worry in a few months I'll be complaining that it's too hot, it gets miserable here in the summer. I just always see you and Andrea teasing about the weather so I just wanted to join in. :grouphug:

Good luck on the job search. I'm sure something good will come your way.

Terri

:confused3Terri--Yes, I told her, she doesn't want to talk about our 90 degree weather, so don't mention that its going to be high 80's until the weekend when it's going to hit 90!
Michelle, If it makes you feel any better, we had hurricane force winds last night while I was sitting outside at Ashley's soccer game. And this wierd front came through and it RAINED, wierd. One side of the the field was sunny and the other side it was raining, and because of the wind it was FREEZING! I had a jacket on with the hood up and tied and was wrapped in a blanket and I was still cold.
Kristi--You're not alone, trust me! Ryan doesn't get excited until we are in the car on our way to the airport. Not to mention he is the king of procrastination. So he thinks I'm doing everything WAY too early.
I love all the dresses! It's making me want to get one. I'm torn though, I was hoping to lose a few pounds and go one size down, but I don't think it's going to happen (unless I lose some moving all these pavers for our backyard)so I don't know if I should wait to get one or not. I went out to try and find Riley one the day after Easter, but I only found a couple for Bailey (who already has one). I think I might just order one for Riley from online. :confused3
Well, off to do the school drop off thing and then back to Home Depot, where they know me by name now. This should be the last trip for pavers, of course I've said that the last two trips.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello everybody, I hope you are well, I've been a little busy these days, my daughter had her first gymnastics exhibition, then at the start of the Easter holidays she was sick, then my mom, my husband and finally me. Nataly is close to finishing school here in PR, there is a lot of work and activities at school. I'm still waiting for passports. I am looking for flights; the details are that we must travel the same day as the flight. My husband does not have the day before off, but we found a flight that comes from PR at 5 am and arrives at MCO at 8 am. We must now see if lower price to buy.
All dresses are beautiful, that were posted, I have mine too! But I must buy one for Nataly and I’m not sure what style I want to get.
Bye 4 now :cheer2:

Good Morning all! :wave2: Today is supposed to be Sunny and like 57*. :cheer2: I am just excited it stopped raining though I think in a few more days it's supposed to rain AGAIN! :sad1: I think on those days I am gonna go through my cruise tote and figure out what will fit in what luggage cause I need to see how many I have to pay for. I tend to overpack so I definately have to cut that down. Otherwise I will have to send 5 boxes to the ship:rotfl::rotfl:

I hope you all have a great day. 169(give or take )days!:dancer: I think the days will fly once summer comes!:sunny:

Michelle, I think you are right...once summer hits time is going to fly by! At least I hope so!
Well, the patio portion of the backyard is almost done, then we will be moving onto the yard part. Hopefully that wont be as tedious!
Terri--Ashleys game for tonight got canceled, so let me know if your available so I can see the dress you got for Amaya, and your new house (well the new parts of it).
I'm off to Home Depot, again, but this time I only need the last few pavers, so it should be an easy trip. Then I will start making trips there for the stuff for the fence that is going around the play structure. I should have gotten a part time job there while we were doing this project so we could have gotten a discount. :confused3
I hope everyone has a good day! Michelle, enjoy your nice (:confused3) weather.

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you all have a great day. I am going bowling with 145 4th graders today. Only 25 days of school left:banana:. I will definitely be ready for the weekend after today.

Gena

Good Morning everyone!
Gena--I'm not envious of the day you have ahead of you! :lmao:
Well, I saw Amaya's dress last night for formal night, and it is beautiful! Just thought I would let you all know! Good job Terri! Now you can mark one more thing off your list. :thumbsup2
I think I have half of our formal wear figured out. I think I'm going to wear a dress that I wore in my sisters wedding, it's a sage green, and Riley will wear the one Ashley wore, which is the same color. I got Bailey a dress with pink, white and sage green poke-a-dots so I have to see if I can find a light pink one for Ashley(hopefully she'll be willing to wear pink), and then get Ryan either a pink (not likely) or green matching shirt. Well, that's the plan for now, I wouldn't be surprised if it changes.:confused3 If we do that the only things I have to get still are the clothes for Ashley and Ryan, and get the dress Riley will be wearing hemmed, and then we will match for pictures...thanks Michelle, for making me obsess about matching!

Hi All,
Well I don't have my formal yet and I only have two other boys to dress so I guess that I have it easey compared to all of the girls out there.

My FE is on it's way. I can't wait to see it. I will post a picture when I get it. Okay well you Cali girls enjoy your wam weather. We had out 70 degree day yesterday (a heatwave) and now we're back to the 50s and 60s.

Talk to you all soon.

Oh Laura U have it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo Easy! I love getting dressed for dinner but doing 3 heads of hair, and to top it off 3 heads of fly away flat heads! I was going to grow it out but besides pulling it up I can do nothing with it....so cut it off I say. Once the girls get their braids done on the boat then hair isn't so bad. So by Weds maybe I will feel sane!

Well off to soccer we go! Nelia's first practice/game. I hope everyone is enjoying the day , supposed to make to high 60*'s here today! Woohoo! So anyhow TTFN

Hope everyone is doing well. We have been so busy latley that I have not even had a chance to be on the computer. Trying to catch up a bit tonight.
Boys crazy busy with sports right now, and I am trying to get school finished so I dont have to worry with it. Hope you all have a great weekend, cant wait to see all of you soon.
Kim

Beautiful day today for a soccer game. Nelia absolutely loved soccer. She didn't wanna take her soccer shirt off at all. Well here is a pic of her playin!

Catch up with ya'll later!

Cute Picture!

Busy weekend here for us...Lots of Girl Scout stuff on Saturday...dinner with friends last night...and DH ran a marathon this morning! In the RAIN!! so we cheered...in the rain. He had a good time and was very happy with his time...although I am not a runner and do not quite understand the pasttime.

We bought our airfare from SW too this week. They eliminated the early flight that we typically take, so instead, my daughter and I are coming a day earlier!! (yay!!) Now that I have flights I feel a lot more excited for the trip!
