Laura---I am a airline shopper. I am flying outta Detroit on Northwest. Leaving thurs and returning on Sat. The ticket price was like 94 but $122 total with taxes included and govt fees and a bonus for those airline employees (hmm hmm Andrea) to fly free! Detroit is like 1 hr 45mins-2hr from us but Cleveland is an hr and I can't fly outta there for less then 320 so I will drive another hr for my price....I fly outta detroit alot!

Michelle - Thanks for the info on the two new ships. Being that this is my first Disney cruise I wouldn't have gotten this information so I appreciate you passing it on.

I've been dealing with a big mess in my house the last couple of days. Sunday night (actually Monday morning around 12:30AM) I awoke to water gushing out of my upstairs bathroom. The hose from the wall to the toilet had snapped and broke and we had a flooded bathroom, water in the hallway, in 2 bedrooms upstairs, coming through the fixtures in the downstairs hallway and a flooded hallway and bathroom downstairs, seeping into the den. We had gone to bed around 10:00 so it could have been going on for up to 2 hours before we heard it. So now we have fans and de-humidifiers all over the house...they are trying to salvage the carpet...I wish they would just replace it but whatever. Once everything is dried up the insurance company will send a contractor to estimate the damage and start the repairs...YUK - what a mess. Oh yeah the worst part ---our deductible is $2000. When Amaya heard that she said "we're not going on the cruise now are we?" I told her we would try and figure out how to still do the cruise so keep us in your prayers so we can still go. I will die if we have to cancel after all this planning and anticipation.

Terri, I am so sorry to hear about your flood.

I have had a really busy time at work. I ended up working seven days in a row: six days down, one to go. Still, tomorrow should be interesting. I am hosting our weekly breakfast meeting tomorrow and then I have a different meeting. In the afternoon I will run two training sessions. Since I got promoted in June, I have not had the chance to do any training. So I am really looking forward to this. I will have the two sessions tomorrow and then two next week.

A week tomorrow, we will go down to London for a long weekend. I have not been there since May so I am really looking forward to it.

Hi everyone!!!!! I hope you are all doing well. I finally made it through my week. Today is going to be a nice quiet day with the girls. The hubby had to work today. I think today will be a movie day at our house. I do have a movie to suggest for spouses. It's amazing! My DH and I went to see it when it came out in theatres. Now it's on DVD. It's called FireProof! I highly recommend it. It's for a night where just you and your honey can sit together and watch it. Very inspiring. We now have the DVD and will be watching it again probably tonight.

Seems like everyone must be busy cause our thread looks sad this week LOL Well here we have been busy trying to get things done and spring cleaning, not cleaning like dirty but cleaning like getting rid of stuff and going thru the kids clothes and getting rid of them. I can not wait for garage sale season my house is over flowing with stuff to sell and make Disney money. After that whatever doesn't sell goodwill gets. Well gotta make dinner...TTYL

Well, we are back! We had a great time at Disneyland! I'll have to see if any pictures came out so I can post one or two. We didn't take too many, so I'm not sure if any came out. My whole family has a new favorite ride. Toy Story Midway Mania. Oh my gosh that ride is sooo much fun.
I'm so sorry to hear about your flood Terri. I know you will find a way to make it work. I've gotten you too excited to forgo the cruise! Right? Ryan said your just going to have to work more overtime.
It's so funny you guys are talking about that movie, Fireproof, I just rented it for Ryan and I to watch tonight. I've heard it's really, really good. I'll let you know what I think.
Well, now that our Disneyland trip is over, I'm full steam ahead with cruise plans. I bought a pair of earrings for the cruise in DTD. Now I just need an outfit to go with them. I'm going to start working on our FE gifts in the next week or two. Other than that, nothing on the immediate agenda.
I'm excited about the Twilight movie coming out in two weeks. I sped through all four books in one week and now I can't wait to see the movie, even though I know it wont be as good as the book. (We'll have to make a girls night of it Terri )

Well with regret, we are not going to be on this cruise. With moving and a new school, we decided we are going to push this reservation back... hopefully for the new ship.

Due to some personal issue that are going on etc. I'm dissapointed but we are going to plan on booking the cruise again next year.. All is not lost though cause we are going to be going to Disney in Sept 09 and staying at AKV Kidani Village... Im excited. We love those animals....
Just wanted to share what was going on with us with all of you. TTFN

Our cruise/vacation preparations are starting to take shape. I ordered a new evening gown for formal night and can't wait to see it in person. I sorted out our post-cruise stay. I could not get BLT for the weekend after the cruise. We had decided on a split stay anyway so I booked 3 nights in a standard view studio at AKV Kidani Village and was going to ring back on Friday to try and book 6 nights at BLT. I had gotten the membership card and was just about to pick up the phone to ring Member Services, when DH said he would really miss our home resort OKW. So I never rang that day. We discussed the matter again over breakfast yesterday and we decided that I would try to get four nights at a Savannah view studio at AKV and then would spend 5 nights at a studio at OKW. I managed to get the four nights in a Savannah view studio at AKV, but at Jambo House. I have to say I actually prefer this. Now we just have to sort out the flights and the pre-cruise stay off site and we are good to go. I contacted our travel agent DU today to amend our transfer and also to request the 8:30 dinner rotation and I was surprised that I got a reply within the hour on a Sunday. This must be the hardest working travel agent I ever encountered.

I'm excited about the Twilight movie coming out in two weeks. I sped through all four books in one week and now I can't wait to see the movie, even though I know it wont be as good as the book. (We'll have to make a girls night of it Terri )

I'm not sure if the date changed but it's coming out this Saturday - only 1 week to wait. Saturday is an odd day for a dvd release.

Well good evening all. ok if I have tons of typos that's because I have been using a wallpaper putty knife and have sliced fingers. We are redoing our fr/playroom and I hate wallpaper and the house has wall to wall wallpaper in that room. We havent redone that room since we bought the house 6yrs ago so we are thinking red and yellow for Mickey Mouse! It is our disney artwork and limited special prints room so we are still deciding on colors but 2 hrs later and we have 1/8 of the room done...OMG anyone wanna peel paper???

Sorry to hear about the ones not joining us.

Well I just wanted to let you all know I have had someone (kellybell) working on a better logo for us since the one we have is quite blurry and grainy, I will have it to share in a day or so. TTYL

Hi all! It's been a busy week at my place. We survived it, sort of. Now I'm home today with Katelin who has a nasty cold and she chose to share it with her mommy. Ugh. I'm resting up today (somewhat) so that I can work hard this week. With April 15th fastly approaching us, I have lots of tax returns I need to handle at work.

For those of you who are not joining us after all, you will most definitely be missed. My family's prayers are with you that all goes smoothing with what is going on in your lives and that you are able to get on the ship at some point in the near future.

Corinna - if you are asking for all of our colors, mine is red and my eldest (Lilli) is purple. As for Katelin, I'm going to pick peach for her cause it's the best color on her. Obviously she's too young to have a favorite.

I'm hoping in the next week or two to order my dress. Before I order I may go out to a few dress shops and try on some dresses. We'll see.

It's been fun at our house over the last few days. Katelin is now walking and her new words are diaper and bubble. So much fun.

I'm sorry to loose two families. I hope you both get to do a Disney cruise in the future! We're hoping to go on one of the new ships too. Ashley has already said that she wants that to be her graduation present. Well, twist my arm.
Well, I spent all day yesterday in bed and then all evening at Kaiser. Turns out I had a severe muscle spasm in my neck. Not the most pleasant thing in the world. The first thing the Dr. asked was if I have any new stress in my life. I thought to myself, "I did have to LEAVE Disneyland". Anyway, she put me on muscle relaxers and vicodin, it's like a margarita in a pill! Needless to say, I can only take them at night. I woke up feeling great, now my neck is starting to hurt again, so I am anxiously awaiting bedtime so I can have my happy hour again.

Good evening all! Well after stripping wallpaper all day...we are almost done! I am hoping to have it done by April.....oh boy that's only 2 wks away. We are making into our Disney room! We are gonna display all our limted prints and the prints I have from my friends dad that works at Disney. I have been wanting to display them all properly so I got motivated! I got ALOT of painting ahead! Well off to bed soon. TTFN
