Oh no, no Dole Whips! I guess I'll have to go a day early and go to MK to get me one to satisfy my yearly craving. If you've ever had one, you know what I mean. I'm sure there'll be much more on the ship for me to eat and drink I won't even notice. Thanks for posting our pic. I think I'm the only one in my family excited. My DH is just kind of like everyone elses hubby. My DD doesn't get excited until time gets closer. She's used to a vacation every year so she doesn't even think about it. I on the other hand can't wait.

Welcome to our thread Heather! Trust those of us who have gone on a Disney Cruise before--you are right to be excited!!!
This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise(me, Dh, and 3 DD's 15,10and 5 at cruise time), but we have been on about 8 or so cruises total. After Disney we tried to "go back" to the other ones...:sad2: it didn't work. We are addicted, so be warned that you might be too!
Sorry I didn't post this weekend, it seems this cyber virus is very strong...I got sick over the weekend, so I didn't do much of anything. At least I had reading to occupy my time, I started the Twilight series last week, I'm now on book 4. It's soo good, it's addictive! Well, for those of you on the edge of your seats (you know who you are) Ashley made the JV soccer team at high school, but they still have her practicing with Varsity, so she may be put on both teams. I guess we will just have to wait and see, but she is the starting goalie for JV. Which is really exciting for her, but hard for me. I hate watching the games when she is goalie--it is very nerve racking! I am so much more relaxed when she is playing in the field, but it's what she loves (and is really good at). Well, off to change out a load of laundry, I got a little behind over the weekend.
Andrea

Congrats to Ashley!! I have been sitting on the edge of my seat! Ashley will have to teach Nelia some moves on the boat. Ok well off to get the hubby TTYL

Ok, I am putting in my daily post so "you know who" doesn't get mad at me...(you know who you are ;) ), but I don't have too much to say, except that yesterday I was thrilled with Ashley for making the soccer team, today my head is going to implode because of her. Long story...but if any of you find me passed out drunk on the ship it's probably because I have a teenage daughter and it's either drink or commit myself to the nut house, so I'm going to choose to drink!

P.S. Laura tell :dancer: not to "chime in" on this one, cuz I can only imagine his words of wisdom on the subject.

Ok so I just need to vent and wonder if anyone else is having the same issue.. I know that our cruise is only 7 months away which really isnt a long time, but lately it seems like its so far away..... I have 2 friends/co-workers that just came back from cruises this weekend and although I love talking about their trips with them and looking at their pictures, I did feel a little blah about the whole thing and wished that we were leaving for our cruise.
My DH said to me last night that is shouldnt bother me and in fact I should be happy cause they are back from their trip and we havent even gone our ours and when the time comes that we do leave they will all feel the same way as I do now... I understood but really didnt agree... What in the world is wrong with me? I didnt start feeling like this till the past weekend... Im sure that it will pass, like I said I just needed to vent. Sorry to ya'all!

Oh dear, I am into that downward spiral, its 2PM, ran out of work around an hour ago, have done lunch and just know I will not be able to avoid hitting the webcams before long to find the Magic or the Wonder or both sitting somewhere warm.

Today I am in a place called Macclesfield, there are worst places in the world however this is a town whose high point was a Woolworths store and now hasn't even got that. Its raining, and for a client this morning I met an old lady in a nursing home who is away with the fairies and thinks she is living at the old labour exchange seeking work.

Our next cruise is still some way off and I must not visit the clock which I set up to count the minutes until we go.

Sorry if I spoiled anyones day, feel much happier now Ive said it all

OK, I was in a cheery mood...the sun is out-finally, my computer works, my sinus infection is pretty much cleared up, and then I signed onto the thread--sheesh. J/K I know its hard, the furthest our we've ever booked a cruise before was 2 months, so there wasn't much of a wait. We booked this one last May, so it almost feels like we are only pretending we are going and its never going to get here. It is helping me that we are going to DL in 2 and 1/2 weeks, but I'm sure once we get back from there I will go right back to wondering if this cruise is ever going to be here. IT IS!! Just savour all the planning and excitement, because once it does get here it is going to go by in the blink of an eye. So I try to look at the planning as half the fun, OK maybe a quarter of the fun. I knew these would be the "slow months" the holiday season went by really fast (it always does) and I'm sure once spring hits summer will be right around the corner, and we all know how fast summer goes by every year! Then those of us with kids will be doing the back to school dance  and then right after we catch our breath from that we will be on our way! :cool1:
OK, that's my pep talk for the day, I'm exausted, I'm going to go finish my coffee.

Andrea

Cheer up! I just can't wait for summer. It's so cold here I can't take it anymore. I'm looking forward to summer and then when the weather starts to cool off again, it'll be time for my cruise.

Hey there.. What web cams? Is there a site that I can go and check out and see the cruise ship etc? OMG Im so excited...

Hey all. Still here. Got lots going on these days.

Yeaaaaaa to Ashley! Congrats! How very exciting. :)

As for the cruise being soooo far away, I agree. I'm convinced it's the weather. Wish it would just get warm already. :) My fish extender is in the mail and I can't wait for it to arrive. :) Will post a pic once it arrives. :) Still got lots to do for this cruise and will probably spread it out over the next 7 months. That should help a bit. :)

Hang in there all. We'll be sailing in no time and then we'll all be on here upset that it's all over. :(

Try to have a great day. :)

Tomorrow I get to take Lilli to the doctor for her 6 year physical. Yes I'm aware she's only about 5 months from being 7 but they obviously are a tad behind. :) Anyway, should be interesting. I think she gets a shot tomorrow and she's TERRIBLE getting them. I'm looking forward to seeing how she handles it in front of her sister. Let's hope for the best. :) Will keep you updated.

Tomorrow is also my sweet hubby's 43rd birthday. :) We're going to celebrate tomorrow and then we're going to his folks house on Saturday to celebrate. Should be fun. Gonna bake a cake on Saturday.

Take care! Kristi

Hey there.. What web cams? Is there a site that I can go and check out and see the cruise ship etc? OMG Im so excited...

Well I dont know about one site but most of the ports have at least one webcam, Port canaveral is blessed with three, type into your search engine
'Port Canaveral webcam', you should be able to access the webcam run by the port authority which doesn't always point in the right direction, then try a search Radisson Canaveral webcam, The radisson has a webcam you can control then try www.Cocoabeachnow.com, my personal favorite as you can get good close ups of the ships putting to sea or arriving back and control the camera. This camera is sufficiently good that the occasional dolphin fin can be seen

Key west has a load, just try Key West webcams and have a play, some are really close to where the ship moors.

Cozumel try www.cozumelinsider.com/webcam
Grand Cayman www.caymanport.com/webcams

I am going to go and find the link for the Nassau webcam now, its mostly the Wonder goes to this port I think.

Nothing at Castaway Cay.

Beware, this is totally addictive and I take no responsibbility for your state of mind if you do this on a cold wet day in February. Wonder should be at Nassau today, I imagine the Magic at Castaway quay but she will be in port tomorrow.

Today the sun is almost out and I am in a place called Knutsford in Cheshire, I am not sure whether you would call it a small town or a large village. Its downside is its right on the flight path for Manchester Airport so I can see the aircraft as they head off to warm destinations.

I'm patiently waiting for Southwest to open up their flights and then we'll be ready. :cheer2: I can't wait...I get more excited everyday.

Terri
