Yeah today I found a formal......I think this will be the one unless somehow I lose 30lbs(yeah right). then I will need a new one. Ok so thats my news....

OK, how is it I'm on the West Coast and I'm the first one to post today? Michelle, congrats on the formal! I hope everyone is starting to feel better! I guess it's just that time of year. My Disney box should be arriving sometime today...
Ashley started soccer tryouts for her high school team yesterday, so everyone say a little prayer that she makes it, soccer is her life! I think she has a pretty good chance. She made her middle school team last year when over 60 girls tried out and only 20 made it, and she broke her ankle and they held a spot for her! She plays goalie and I guess at this age group it's really hard to come by a good goalie.

Hi all! I'm still here. I've now got either a cold or a sinus infection. So far the Sudafed non-drowsy decongestant did absolutely nothing but make me worse. Soooo, when I get home tonight I'll try my tylenol sinus stuff and see if that helps. After that I'm gonna call the doc and demand that he make me all better. LOL Alright, so I can't demand the doc make me better if I've got a cold but I could ask him nicely to make me better. LOL

As for Katelin, she's miserable. Richard has to pick up a prescription for her to get more bloodwork done (yes you heard correctly; she's gotta get something retested cause it's coming up positive ) and so he said he'd check with them if they can see her then or maybe tomorrow and also how to make her comfortable (which she presently is not). The poor dear has had enough health issues since we've brought her home. She doesn't need yet another thing.

On the upside, I've checked out several places to buy pirate costumes for my girls and have marked them to show to the DH and my eldest DD (since she has an opinion about everything now) before I buy them. Not sure what my DH and I will do but at least want the girls looking good.

Kristi, I'm so sorry to hear about your cold/sinus infection (those are the WORST) I get sinus infections all the time and they are not fun! I hope everything works out ok for Katelin! Keep us posted.

Andrea---here I am are u satisfied.......I know I can't go a day without a post! looks like I won't be getting a girls night out cause my girls are bailing on me....will have to get them fired up for next week then....I am so ready for girls night on the cruise...

So everyone Andrea and I have decided te boys can have a football boys night and we can have a girls night.....works well in case our kids don't wanna be in the club or tire out. I figure kids especially young ones are never a gurantee so DH should be my club back up one night!!

Hey Michelle! That sounds like fun. I think my hubby will enjoy that!

As for the sinuses, you win some you lose some. I'm heading out to pick up my eldest and then I'm taking her over the church for her class and I'm picking up the young one from Daddy and bringing her home with me. She and I are going to veg out!!!! Hopefully she and I get a good night sleep tonight.

Well, back to work for 8 more minutes (not that I"m counting or anything).

Please say prayers today for my BF's dad who is having open heart surgery...On my way now to take Sydney to school and then to take Nelia and my nephew to the hospital to be a distraction to everyone so they don't think as much about it the 4 hours he's in surgery!

Then I have to take pizza to school for Sydney's valentines day party. I had a contest with the kids on a field trip that they had to be extremely quiet and I would provide pizza party....so long behold they did do it and I have to get enough for 50.(2 classes worth) Ok well TTYL

I am also sorry to hear about your BF's dad Michelle. I'll keep them in my prayers!

Katelin got her bloodwork done this morning. She's such a trooper. She cried a little bit and then she was all smiles and waving to the nurses at the hospital before she left. Go figure. Anyway, we're both feeling a bit better. We still are having trouble breathing through our noses BUT the energy is back. Katelin is eating normally today so that is good too. So far I don't think mine has become a full flegged infection so I am praying I don't have to spend the money or the time at the doctors. We're watching Katelin for now. Hopefully hers doesn't involve a doctors visit. Gosh I wouldn't wanna do that to her after all she's been through.

Anyway, just thought I'd stop in to say howdy. Gonna get back to work now. Tonight is family night. Not sure yet what we're having for dinner but if it's up to Lil it'll be pasta. LOL That girl could live off of pasta. And not pasta with spaghetti sauce on it. Oh no, she'd rather have either butter and parmesan cheese on it OR pesto sauce and toasted pine nuts.

Howdy gang. Yes, I am posting a note . Hope everybody is feeling better. I had the stomach bug back in January & can't remember ever being that sick. DH never got sick at all. Won't wish it on my worst enemy.
Well, since everybody is asking for prayers I might as well join in. I have a large bone spur on my left knee. Seems osteoarthritis pushed the knee cap out of place & the spur was formed. I told the doc that he has to have me fixed up before the beginning of October. When I told him that I was going on a Disney Cruise, he said that I was a glutton for punishment. I guess he has only been on the "Party" cruises and doesn't know how to have a good time. But then again I've never been on a cruise at all so who am I to judge. Anyway he injected a steroid & said that by the end of the weekend I will know if it worked or not. If it doen't work, I go back in a month to get setup for surgery to clean it out. A co-worker said my DH should just do it himself useing a Drimmel & save some money. I think I'll pass on that. I forgot to say that I will be dressing for Pirates Night, but not sure of DH. It takes a bit to bring him out of his shell. Just ask Kristi!
Well the boss wants some work done today so I'll type at ya all later.

Thanks Kristi for ur prayers.....He did well in surgery and now it just starts the healing process.....he's diabetic and A BAD one at that so it may be a long road!
Trina--yeah I kinda got this feeling ur a crazy girl....I don't know U know how U see someone and think I bet they are boat loads of fun...well when I saw ya in that xmas photo, yeah I thought she's a fun girl!!!

I am sorry U are all sick but PLEASE keep it to yourself! We have had a good winter so far_knock on wood-- Well off to get Sydney and go to dance class. TTYL

Alright, you are starting to look like a party animal. LOL

I'm glad to hear that your BF's dad made it through surgery well. I will continue to keep him and his family in my prayers for a speedy recovery (despite the diabetes getting in the way).

I have a comment for Trina regarding the outfit she is going to wear on pirate night. Girl, you'd better watch your husband carefully cause you're gonna send him so over the woo hoo edge. Just too stinkin funny.

As far as pirate night is concerned, I've found a couple of adorable outfits for the girls and once I've showed them to Lilli and to Richard I'll order them. As for me, I still have a portion of my costume from our 2007 cruise. I may wear that or I may just buy a pirate t-shirt and call it a night. We'll see. Richard dressed up on the last cruise but I'm not sure if he'll do it again this cruise. Guess I should ask him. Gee, if he doesn't dress up this time maybe he and Trina's hubby could get t-shirts.

Don't know if I shared this with anyone (can't remember anything these days) but I ordered my fish extender the other day! I can't wait for it to be delivered. I'll post a picture here once it arrives.

Well, that's all for now. Gonna be a busy day here. I've got TONS of cleaning to do today. My brain has been on since 4:15am this morning so I'm up (and unfortunately so is the baby) and I'm getting some things accomplished before I dive in. I am sorry to hear that a lot of you are sick at the moment. So far all is good in our house.

I have been extremely busy at work between disruptions caused by snow and storms and aircraft downgrades. I also had a routine medical appointment and finally managed to attend a meeting of the book group that I joined last September. We had so much fun. I also have to schedule in regular WII Fit time so I don't have as much forum time as I normally have.

It is our 11th anniversary today, but unfortunately I am on the graveyard shift today so we cannot do anything special. Still, there is at least one anniversary that I can "celebrate" today. I joined the company that I work for three years ago today. This means that I will get two extra days of annual leave every year as of today and also a free stand by ticket every year.

Good Morning.... .yeah not sure why I have been up since 5:45am... I think I will crash after lunch for a quick nap.....maybe.

Kristi---party animal...hmm well does standing on a bar stool dancing count as that...yeah that was me... Actually most anything I do after a few drinks I would do normally...I am just outgoing like that. And plus since I was out watching my friend perform it's prolly different cause he gets this stick going back and forth between us...like I was his b**** last night getting his water and well ok I guess U had to be there. I think this is good for this mommy....I am finding my fun side again....me not just the girl's mommy. I have been just mommy for so long and now things are changing. So if going out once a week is a party animal that is me...ok so yeah this has been 2 x's in 5 days but I love listening to Steve sing and it's loads of fun! Ok done explaining my indiscrations... . However spelled!

Hey Michelle, I'm jealous!!!!! I haven't done a serious girls night out like that in years. Trina and I go out but our idea of going out includes shopping for things we desparately need, painting pottery at Color Me Mine or just going to dinner. Guess I've gotta get a little crazier than that huh. LOL

Well, my hubby is gone to work, Lil is gone to school and now Katelin and I must start to clean house. I hate to clean but it must be done!

Hello all! I hope you sickos are starting to feel better Trina, I hope the shot works for your knee and you don't have to do surgery/drimmel procedure.
Well, Ashley is two days into soccer tryouts, and I guess she's better than I even thought...they have her practicing with the varsity team, she's a FRESHMAN! She will find out today which team they are going to put her on (she's been told she will be making the team--we just don't know if it will be JV or Varsity). I told her she should hope for JV because she will get to play more, she would be starting goalie. If she made varsity she would probably be second string (I'm thinking ) I told her now all she has to do is get her grades up and I'm thinking SCHOALORSHIP (sung in best best high pitched excited voice)
Well, we got our tax return today Federal anyway, Arnold called and said he needed to borrow a little cash, so I said "Go ahead and hold onto my state tax return for a bit, no, no don't worry about interest, you take as long as you need." Maybe that one will come just in time to be our deposit for our onboard rebooking.
