My FE is based on size. I have some ideas for the kids and it really depends how many I have to make. I can't make like 75 like I have seen some threads. That would be costly. I like our size..To many people and it loses its coziness...I mean it's like graduating with 100 and graduating with 400. Different relationships...LOL But I hope whoever wants to join a thread finds us, cause I can't believe I didn't do this our last 2 cruises.

So how is everyones weekend going? Ours ok..one sick DD but hopefully after a few days of Zithromax, she should be good by Christmas.

Andrea when you get your fish extender post it here so we can see. I love seeing all the things that Tiffany makes. I gotta finish my fe gifts for the adults. I just dont want to wait until the last minute and panic cuz I am not done making them.

I am not sure what a teenage girl wants for christmas, but I will tell you what my 9 year old daughter has asked for .

1. Cell phone with unlimited texting
2. Laptop with TV viewing capabilities
3. Playstation 3 and games ofcourse

Yeah...I dont know what she is thinking, but I told her she better put some Barbies on that Christmas list I can just imagine what she may be asking for at 13...a car??!!

Robin Too funny about Gabi asking for those things. I think she has my Christmas list by mistake . I would like our group to stay cozy too. It makes it easier to bring all this stuff on board the ship. I do think that as the cruise gets closer, we will have more people. But hey...the more the merrier!!

Michelle I hope your dd feels better soon. There is a bug going around our area and it is hitting people hard.

Corrina that stinks that you have to work Christmas day!! In case I dont make it back on here before then...I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!! Hopefully I will get back on before the week is out.

I was just on Kristi's blog and OMG what beautiful girls she has!!! There is a picture of Kaitlin sleeping and I just love sleeping babies! !! Makes me want to have another one, BUT I wont!!! Cant wait to hear all her stories when she returns!!

Michelle-because you are such a good record keeper...can you tell me if I am the only one with a 3 year old. I know there are lots of girls 8-10, but wasnt sure if Sophie would have anyone to play with out of our group. Thank you dear in advance for checking. I just didnt want to go back through the thread and look, you know I am lazy!!!

Robin---Funny about Gabi's list. Sydney has a cell phone , only because she is at the dance studio alot and if I need her or vice versa. She doesn't carry it I do and it only cost me 9.99 a month to add to my plan. She also stays at home for 20 mins on mondays by herself so I always want contact. We don't use a home phone. I think we use maybe 5 mins a month on it but it's security for me....lol
Oh and Hello ---our web site has all the kids ages. Lazy bones It seems Mindi has a 4yr old and then a couple 5's and so on.
We really haven't had anyone new for awhile on here.

I keep checking in on Kristi's blog and seems they may head home Friday. It's got to be soooo exciting for them.

Robin, that is too funny! Bailey (my 4 year old) is asking for a phone and a camera, but I think she is only asking because her sister is asking. It's funny though, she has toy phones and she walks around pushing all the buttons saying "I'm texting".
I will post some pics when my FE gets here. I'm getting really excited, I think this is my first "purchase" for the cruise. I guess I will have to start a "pile" soon. I have to take Ashley shopping for a formal for Winter Ball in a couple of weeks and I'm thinking that will be one purchase for the cruise I can check off, assuming it will still fit her in 9 months.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. School is out for 2 weeks and maybe I can get caught up on some stuff.

On our cruise in Oct, everyone signed up for a day to deliver their gifts. That way, everyone would receive something each day and the FE's would not get overloaded one day. My boys loved finding different items each day. We did get something I believe on Friday, but you don't have to if you don't want to. One thing that we did (as well as many others) was to attach our FE with a zip tie. I bought a package at Home Depot and then shared them with others on the cruise. Using these will keep your FE's from walking off. I hate to say it, but I have read on other threads about these suddenly "growing legs". It was very easy to use.

If we decide to make a list and sign up for days, it might be better if we wait and do it closer to the cruise (like July) so that way maybe we will have more people participating. During our meet the first day of the cruise in Oct., someone handed out a list of people who were participating in the FE, which contained the name of the family, their DIS name, the names of the kids in the cabin (and their ages as well as whether they were a boy or girl) and any food allergies that someone might have. It was a big help as we passed out our gifts.

This is just a little info that I thought might be helpful to us.

Thanks Gina....U must have had the same ideas as Mindi, cause that is why i made the web page...on the FE page it says everyone I know to be participating..who's in that room and any known allergies at this point. I figure it's nice to know NOW while making your FE's and not at the port when everyone is done. So everyone can go on and print that page. I like knowing now cause (ex-dolphingirl47) is allergic to bananas and hubby to chocolate..i mean now that I know that I will make sure I replace any chocolate for something else for Graham. Our cut-off day will be in July(listed on web page). I thiink by then most should have found us.!

There is also a page with everyones cabins, people's names...well at least all who have shared..lol So if U can think of any info that we still need to know let me know and I can add it. Have U checked out our web page?? If not the link will be in my signature or on our first page.

I too finished all my wrapping. All that is left is for Santa to set his 2 things up in front of the tree. He doesn't wrap his gifts...how easy he has it. He just sets them up under the tree...well he only brings them each one gift and everything else is from us.

I hope everyone is having a good day. Thank you all (with kids) for idulging my questions. I have tossed around a few FE ideas to make for the kids and have come up with one I like. A friend of mine just made this for an event of hers and I thought I would do it for the kids. Please check out the web page and make sure I have everyones names spelled right! If you are on the web and there are no names there it's because you haven't shared that with us.! I am in the process of making one page which hosts the cabins- Dis names-family names-kids ages-dining pref. on it so U all can print it and have all the info on one page. I have the page done but the site is having tech difficulty and won't let me update what you see...hopefully they fix that! On another is a list of FE participants. Which I think is most of us. Well I will catch up later.

we are doing our Christmas tomorrow morning since we are going to Pittsburgh for Xmas... well my kids said are we making cookies today? my reply...why? UM cause Santa will be here tonight. whoopppsss!! looks like we are making some cookies today.

Looks like it will be a White Christmas this year...first time in years!!

Michelle: dh called and said the roads are a mess and to stay home. (since the kids are on break, they dont care about the roads.)

I will be at Kalahari in January. (15th) The one school around here does a fundraiser there and I am just tagging along... we have only been to Great Wolf in Niagara Falls. I will run your errand then. can you wait that long???

Ummm No I can't....my contribution to the dance team party can't wait or I will send all the 30 hungry girls ur way!! Kalahari sounds fun...I haven't gone since Feb. My aunts business gets a deal around then for cheap rooms so she gets one for us. Not sure about 2009 though. Well maybe I will see ya around in Jan. Thanks for nothing(about my errands)

BBRRRRRRR It's cold here to. We got about 2.5 ft of snow over the weekend with a nice layer of ice to top it off. I finished my shopping on Saturday. now all I Have to do is wrap. Fun stuff!! I'll have to grab a glass of wine and lock my self in my room. Wait now that doesn't sound half bad when I put it that way

Well since we staying in..the girls and I just made 3 types of cookies. Yum! now not to eat them all. ( snickerdoodles, cheesecake cups and cherry filled.)

Cheesecake cups..mmmmm Val those sound sooooo good! Ok did my errands since Val wouldn't come in and help me....dang it is blustery out there. As soon as I iron on a pic of my girls on a sweatshirt for my 97 yr old Grandma then I will be done!!!! Woohoo!
