Oh my gosh, it's cold here!!!!
I know I'm not going to get any sympathy from you guys that have been this cold for a month now, but it is 28 degrees here, 28! Did you here me?? 28!!!! Of course, it's clear as a bell, so no snow for the kiddos
, but 28! ok moving on...
I am getting our cards out today...Sams club messed up our order though. We ordered 50 and they gave us 25, so I went back to get the rest made and they made the wrong ones and there is a white line along the bottom(that isn't suppossed to be there) and of course I didn't notice until I was stuffing the rest of them in envelopes. At this point I said "Oh well".
That was nothing though, our fridge/freezer went out yesterday!! So we spent 6 hours(and 5 locations) looking for a new one (which we don't have the money for) so our already light Chirstmas is looking to be even lighter! I just keep telling myself what Christmas is all about, so it doesn't matter that we are broke, or don't have a fridge or any food (well we have dry cereal, and soup and crackers)it makes me think about the reason for the season even more. It also makes me talk about it with the kids even more, so I think it's worth having a Christmas like this one every once in a while to remind me what it's really about.

I guess we should have gone out on black friday. What are you getting Jason? Did I tell you I found the pink leapster for Bailey? I am all done and wrapped, it is a wonderful feeling. Especially because this has never happened before. I always intend on having everything wrapped in advance so I can go to bed at a decent time on Christmas eve, but it never happens. Well there was so little shopping this year that I got it all wrapped at the same time I bought it. I only have one thing left to wrap...every year the girls get to open one present on Christmas eve, well this year there was so little bought that I wasn't going to have them open anything on Christmas eve, but we were at the
--a Disney gift card for Christmas) and they had a Disney tree topper, it's a light up star with Mickey sitting on one side and Minnie sitting on the other, for $11(it was 70% off). So I got that and I'm going to let them open that on Christmas eve. It's a little off the tradition of each of them opening something, but I figure it's better than nothing.
I will tell you i made something for the adults and then I am making gift bags(like celyphan treat bags) of stuff for the kids so I can deliver mine on one day. I figure most will deliver Sun-Thurs.
