Robin that's a bummer about your refund. If I were you I would call back and see if you get a different answer. If you have to, ask to speak to a supervisor. Maybe they aren't doing it anymore, but if they told they would do it when you bought the tickets they should honor that. Good luck!

We had a big suitcase each and I brought a holdall for my FE gifts as they were too heavy to go into the suitcase. Of course between photos, souvenirs, our gift from our REAS package, our Castaway Club gift, FE gifts received during two cruises and various gifts from DVC, we ended up buying a new suitcase in Orlando.

I will bring at most half the clothes that I brought last tim round. We found that we were doing laundry pretty frequently as we hated to have wet swim gear in our cabin. I ended up wearing the same clothes over and over again as I was too lazy to pack the clean stuff away (we tend to live out of our suitcases when we are on vacation) and just dumped the clean stuff in the steamer trunk. More than hal the stuff I had brought did not even get worn once.

Just spreadin a little Disney cheer. I love this saying from Peter Pan. Cause that's how I get to to go on the cruise..faith trust and pixie dust...oh you all thought it was money..nope nope not over here..over here it's pixie dust!:rotfl2:

For our 15 night cruise we had 4 checked bags and 4 carry-ons. When the cab picked us up to go to the airport he asked if we were moving, we then got a lecture about how he traveled all of Europe with a garment bag.

But I bet he didn't have 2 formal gowns and 2 pirate costumes in his garment bag :thumbsup2

Lisa--- he prolly stunk too.....LOL

Val--I saw you did the encounter...did u like it and I wanted to book for like 10am, my concern is...eating in cozumel. What did u guys do for lunch? Did you feel it was worth it even though you couldn't swim with them. We wanted the swim but like you I will have a 5 yr old at the time(nice they're free though).

Ok can anyone tell me what the heck does "bump us to pg 2 or bump us up mean" I saw this on threads and thought I don't wanna bump back I wanna bump to June or better yet Oct.

A "bump" means you write something just so the thread is on the page 1, not on page 2. It makes your thread easier to find! ( and you feel popular. lol.)

A 10am Encounter might be cutting it a little close. We did the 1pm Encounter. ( We were offered a 12 pm but we declined since there were so many DDs).
For the Encounter there about about 15-20 people in your group. You get to pet the dolphin, dance with the dolphin, kiss the dolphin and the dolphin will swim by you a few times and you get to see their eyes, teeth etc. We had such a large group we were in the water for an hour. ( normally it is like 45 minutes or so.) We had a blast! :) All 3 kids said this was the best excursion !
We swam at Chankanaab --their pool is awesome! We also ate lunch there too. ( We had quesadillas, chicken fingers and fries. the food was actually very good and safe to eat.) They took American money and gave you change back in Amer money.
The nice part for us since we had 4 paying people the cab ride was free in both directions. ( it is about 12-15 each way) and my son was free. :)
In the future we would love to the swim, but the cost is sooo much for it.

Good Morning everyone:hippie: We have a 2 hour school delay here, so I am waiting to go into work.
Andrea I dont know if Delta will care that the reservationist told me I could get a refund. I guess I can call them later ans see what happens. I'll let ya know.
We are going to the Disney on Ice show when it comes here to Syracuse. It is the show "100 years of Magic". That should give my girls a little "fix' of Disney. I just love the ice shows!!:goodvibes 3 more weeks until the show comes.

Robin, that will be sooo fun! I love disney on ice. I would call again, just because sometimes you get a different answer with a different person. You may have gotten someone who didn't know what they were doing. It doesn't hurt to try..:confused3 . Let me know, cuz I'm on the edge of my seat...;)
Well, it doesn't appear that everyone is as chatty today as they were yesterday. I wonder how Kristi and her family are doing?
It looking more and more like our spring trip to Disneyland is not going to happen:sad2: , which is causing me to lean more towards doing the MNSSHP the night before the cruise. We will know when it gets closer, but that also means that we probably wont be at the port at 9:59 :sad2: , but I guess it would be worth it. I know Michelle and her family are thinking of going, anyone else yet thinking about it?

We will do MNSSHP the night before (or if it is offered the night after the cruise!) We have done the Hallow party the last years, it is great! this last time we did not wait in line at all. ( we got to ride Big Thunder Mntn Railroad twice in a row without ever getting off the ride!)

Andrea--U are so funny....cause I tell you i don't care if we are at MNSSHP till midnight...our -you know whats- will be at the port by 9:45am. I will either drive to a hotel by the port or get up early and leave by 8:45AM. No way will I be late....that's one thing you can't call me.

Just think if we all go to MNSSHP we will probably run in to each other there. U won't find me trick/treating.....well maybe 2/3 stops but otherwise I will be on the rides or at the dance parties. My dancers like the dance parties.

Ok don't hold me to it but I think I am considering getting a Y membership and working out after the holidays. I wanna lose 25lbs before the cruise.

I have been following Kristi's blog and it seems they have Katelin today!!!!!!!! :dance3: :yay: :cloud9:
Anyhow, it seems everything is good. Though it will be more exciting when she arrives back home.

We are going to do the Mnsshp!!:goodvibes We have never done it before and you guys have said such good things about it that we are going to give it a try.

The only thing I worry about is if Sophie will last all day and all nite. She will only be 3 (just) and I think she may get too pooped and not enjoy it. I will rent a stroller so I guess she can just rest in that. I dont do rides:scared1: , so Matt will just do all the rides with Gabi anyway. So if any of you guys need me to hold your stuff while you go and enjoy the rides....I'm your girl. Well, I do the tame rides (Buzz Lightyear, small world)!! I cant even handle that little dip in Pirates o.t. Caribbean:laughing: . I freak out...I am a wimp..I know. But I do enjoy going to theme parks and watching my kids have fun!!!!

Robin --r u going to Disney during the day and MNSSHP at night.? Cause on MNSSHP when u go at 4pm..u get a stroller for FREE!! :) They provide them for the special events. That was nice. Cause even though Nelia will be 5 we will still get one. Shoot Sydney climbed in it last yr at 7...I mean she's a bean pole but hey i can walk faster with her in it...she's my lolly gagger.

Anyhow I know we PROLLY will do the MNSSHP. I will find you Robin to hold my stuff... U can't live here in Sandusky and not be into Coaster. We r #1 coaster park. Sydney and I rode the Aerosmith last yr when we visited MGM. Sydney likes space mountain at the kingdom. Nelia we r still breaking in and last yr she wasn't tall enough. I let the DH hit the stuff with Sydney and I stay off with Nelia. I mean I love it all too but DH works all yr so i figure he deserves it.

Michelle: this year at MNSSHP strollers were not free :( they changed the policy..bummer!!!

No way:scared1: Well my DD's will be walking their happy selves...I am not paying 20 something for a stroller. I will be the nut with a backpack on my back and oh no I will make the DH do that.

I took a stroller and just left it there this year. :rolleyes1

DS fell asleep right in the middle of the fireworks.

Michelle I am going all day to Magic Kingdom and then staying for the party. That is why I think Sophie will get tired (and cranky), but it will be worth it. I thought about bringing one of my strollers from home and then just leaving it. Not quite sure yet what we will do. Arent the single strollers around $15.00 per day. I think the double strollers are $31ish. Atleast that is what it says on another site. I thought 15.00 wasnt a huge deal to spend. I should try to find out what they are to rent exactly.

I will hold anyones stuff and trust me I wont even complain;) . I am used to sitting for hours waiting for people to get on and off rides. Strange enough...I enjoy it!!! Thats why my friends love for me to go to the parks with them because I am the "designated holder of stuff"!

I looked up the cost online and this is what Disney had.

The stroller rental fee is $15.00 per day for a single-passenger stroller and $31.00 per day for a double-passenger stroller. A $100 credit card deposit is required per stroller rented at the Downtown Disney® Area. The rented stroller must be returned to the original rental location to receive a credit card deposit refund.

I also wrote an email asking about the complimentary stroller and why they removed that. I mean for as much as we pay for that event I think u should get a stroller. I am not spending 31 on one when I could use that on the cruise or something.:sad2:

Anyhow.....I hope everyone is having a good last week of school.. My DD's are done on Friday and then go back the 5th I think. We have snow right now...it was windy and blowing last night. Sydney was praying for a snow day. I am excited to not have dance and school to run to but by the 5th I will be ready to ship them back:woohoo:

Only 2 more days for us and then 2 weeks off:cool1: !!!! It has been raining here for several days. I have outside duty tomorrow afternoon, so keep your fingers crossed that the rain will have stopped.

I would love to do MSSHP next year, but due to DS (then 14) marching in the band, we will not be able to leave AL until after his game that night. We will probably have to drive all night, unless we get extremely good deals to fly.

Hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Gena

Good Morning all......Today I have to take DH to get an MRI on his shoulder. Well ya know in the summer DH dove for a ball while playing softball with friends and landed on his shoulder. hmm someone forgot to tell him that he wasn't 22 anymore....more like 33.

Does anyone feel not as in to the season this year? I find either the lack of funds, or just we have been busy. But we have not made cookies, I haven't gotten my Xmas cards out , nor have we even seen Santa(well besides at our Make-a wish thing) I think this year I just hate the clutter, I don't know but I am ready for a NEW year! At least I know one massive positive in 2009 and it's 9 months away....

I am not into the season either...I have my cards out..tree up, but I did go all out because we are moving and we will be in WDW over Xmas.

It doesnt help in the past 3 weeks I have heard of more deaths (and pet deaths) and just other bad news.
