Hi sue! We booked a gty room for our cruise in jan, and we got an upgrade a few weeks before sailing. Ended up in a cat 9. I think if you tell your ta it's your anniv, they do something special at one of the dinners. I think there is a cake or something. We will be celebrating our anniv and also on oct 25 it's my mom and dh bday!! So, we'll have a bday celebration too!! is it just you and your dh sue, or do you have others traveling with you?
Ok, gotta go round up my kids now. Be back to check the thread later!!

Great, I really hope we get an upgrade.

Kids - DS 10 years, DD 7 years - will be with us - they'd KILL us for going without them!! Besides, after seeing how fast these last ten years of their lives have gone, we'd better appreciate these family vacations while we can. We'll enjoy it with them, drop them off and still have time to ourselves, I think.


Sounds like you'll have a HUGE celebration on your hands, with the birthdays and anniversaries!! Who will be traveling with you - will your mom be there too?

Honestly, I'm so excited about BOTH trips, even though the cruise is a year out, I'm going to self destruct!!

hi again sue! my 3 dc will be going with us. So will my mom and dad. Dc will be at age of cruise- ds-8yrs; dd-6yrs; ds-3yrs. We are hoping to add a new addition also, but not sure if it's gonna happen or not. This is our last month of actively trying to conceive until the cruise. We are in our 2 week waiting period now to find out if it's baby or not!! Keep your fingers crossed for us!!
As for the family vacations...you're right, we need to appreciate them while we can. Time goes way too fast!! The cruise is the best of both worlds!! You have a family vacation, but you also get alone time...all included in the price!!! We actually had to drag our oldest dc out of the clubs on castaway cay day, cuz i found that most of our pics of the cruise included only our youngest (he was too young for the clubs). It looked like we didn't include our 2 oldest dc!! I snapped pics, and they stayed with us for a bit, but then right back to the club they went!! It definitely is the best!!

Back from WDW. I had great time. My son went back to Pa. this morning. He might be coming back at Christmas. I sure hope so. It's been awhile since he was here for Xmas.

I wish our cruise was in 2 weeks. Wouldn't that be fun? It will be here before you know it.
They will give you cakes at dinner if you tell them it's your anniversary. They bring them after dessert though. So we took ours to the kids club for the cast members. They loved it.

Wow!! Those Magic cruisers are so psyched for their upcoming trip...i'm so jealous!! In another year, we'll be that pumped too!!

Debbie, glad you had a great trip...now vacation is over...so hurry up and get a yahoo id...we want to chat with you!!!!

I can't believe in one day we went thru a whole page...ok, WE didn't go thru a whole page, but still it kept our thread at the top!! Do you think they were trying to tease us?? They are soooo close, and we are sooooo far away...although it is getting closer!!
