This is my first Disney cruise.....I mean my first cruise ever... LOL.... my 10 yr anniversary is July 6, 2006 so we are putting off till October. My sister and her family are also coming. So it will be me, my DH, (possible a DS see my signature for explanation), my sister, her dh, her 2 dd and 1 ds. Can’t wait!!!!

Yeah!!! We have another person going with us!! Hi again debbie!! Welcome Stephieann!! This cruise is going to be so much fun! My dh and i will celebrate our 10th anniversary on nov 9, 2006. I just saw your other thread and responded there too, but my ta said that we will be able to trick or treat on the ship for our cruise. I think it sounds like a lot of fun!! I think it's great that we have this thread going cuz we should really learn alot about each other!! I have a little notebook started with all the tips i've picked up from the dis. Some friends have started asking me about the cruise...i act like i'm all knowledgable...little do they know, i learned it all here!! Well, gotta get going for tonite, so i'll talk to you both later!!

You are going to have a ball. This is my third cruise. All with DCL. I love them more than WDW. Is the most fun ever. I wish it was 2006. We are going to have a great time. But I'm glad we'll get to know each other by next year. It will be like seeing old friends.

I am here...i haven't been on in awhile, cuz i've been sick!! Still not feeling the greatest at the moment. I do child daycare, and the kids are sleeping now. I should be picking up the house and doing lunch dishes, but i've been having "dis withdrawal"!! It's only been a few days, but i just kept thinking of everything that i might have missed on the boards!! They are just too addicting!! I think it's a good thing though.
I keep watching your guys tickers count down the days. I so wish it was 2006 already!! We are getting a lot closer though. I can't wait til we can say our cruise is under a year away!! I keep thinking next year at this time....
Hopefully the hurricanes won't be as bad next year. That is one reason i'm glad we're not going anytime soon. I guess cc hasn't been affected (or has it??) I definitely don't want any rocky seas when we sail...dh is a little prone to seasickness!!

Just received a call from my sister. The mom on the baby backed out. I am ok .. we are foster parents and you tend to get use to heart breaks. Just keep looking forward to this cruise. Hope you ladies are doing good.

Sorry to hear the news. I will pray that you get a little bundle soon. Everything happens for a reason, maybe this wasn't the time. It will be soon.
The cruise will be great. The signs are to let other dis'ers know your there.They also wear the alian green mickey paint swatches from Home Depot. Everyone makes name badges out of them. We had a meet on deck 10 for the cast=away party the last time. There were over 100 peopale from our thread.

Aww, stephanie, that is too bad. Sorry to hear the news, but debbie is right, everything happens for a reason. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too!! Hope other than that all is well! How are you doing debbie? When do you go to the world again? I'm starting to get bummed. We have gone to wdw in jan for the last 4 yrs, and 2006 will be our first to miss it in jan. I just have to keep thinking it's for the best, cuz that is money we are saving to go on this great cruise. I just hate the long winter, and not going to fla in jan is going to make the winter seem even longer!! Are you guys going to the world before or after this cruise? We are going to, but i'm not sure if we'll do it before or after. Who knows. I'd kinda like to be there to celebrate my actual anniversary, but that's not til nov 9 and that would mean the kids would miss too much school. So, i'm still not sure what we'll do.
So are you going to do the door sign?? I want to do something! I want the decorations inside the stateroom too!! After all, this cruise is to celebrate our 10 yr. anniversary. Do you guys do matching shirts?? We had the 3 kids in matching shirts the last time, and they looked so cute. They had a thread on the Parks board about handmade disney tshirts. One lady did red/white/blue tie dyed mickey tshirts for her whole family. They looked awesome. I'm not very crafty though, but i figured i have quite a while to perfect it! I'm thinking i might try to do them.
Well, i guess i'm gonna get going now. I haven't checked out the boards yet today. I need to know what else is happening!! Gotta get my daily fix!!

Thanks for the kind words. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 yr anniversary next year but it is July 6. We decided to wait and go in october/november due to him being in the Naval Reserve. We knew that he would not have his 2 week active training that early in the fiscal year (october-october). We do have 2 other children that we may be able to adopt but we will have to wait and see. I plan on doing a sign but how i dont know.. LOL. I will probably not do matching shirts but might dress the kids up in matching IF we adopt any between now and then. Well going to go hope to talk again soon!!!

AHHHH Mondays are the pits!!! Ok, in an effort to get to know each other a little bit better, here is my contribution! I've already told you both that i do child daycare. Well, dh has an "outside" job (he works for pepsi). He has sun and mon as his days off. He is licensed with me to do daycare, and on mondays, we have a houseful... usually it's around 12 kids during the day, and we get 3-4 more after school is out. Thankfully, today we only had 8 during the day, and 4 more after school. Well, one of the little ones i watch (11 months old) went home looking like a little alien today, cuz she managed to find a stray green crayon, and decided since i wasn't fixing lunch fast enough, she'd resort to eating the crayon!! I've never seen a crayon make such a mess!! She was green from head to toe!!! It was as if her spit made the crayon turn into paint, cuz it just dripped all over her body. Then when i went over to take it away from her, she smiled at me.... her toothy little smile. Well, of course, since she was eating the crayon, her toothy little smile just wasn't the same...it looked like she had gunkiest little teeth ever...like she had never had them brushed!!!!!! Green plaque!! Ohhh, it took forever of wiping and wiping to find her pearly whites under all that wax. Maybe i should have just given her a white crayon to eat instead!! All this while i was making grilled cheese sandwiches. I found her eating it halfway through making the sandwiches, so of course, since i needed to get to her, i ended up burning the lunch. Dh had left to pick up our preschool kids, so when he returned the house stunk of smoke, and the baby was covered in green. Needless to say, not the best way to start the week. So, that's a little about me...you know i do daycare...either of you want to do a little more getting to know you things?? Actually, i'll tell you that i've done daycare since my oldest was born 7 yrs ago. I quit my job to stay home with him, but we honestly couldn't afford it. I started by babysitting, and then found out about all the perks i could get as a registered provider. So, now, here i am....what was i thinking??? I can't wait til that cruise next year...i am going to need a vacation by then!!!
That's all for now. I need to get some sleep before they all come back tomorrow. Wish me a better day...it should be.... i only have 5 kids thank goodness!!! Have a good nite ladies!!

Shannon I know just how that is. I worked in daycare and preschool for about 11 yrs. I now work in corrections. I am a correctional Counselor. It is never a dull moment. The inmates WHINE all the time. I don't think there is much difference in day cares and prisons. LOL OH it is ALL male prison. Nothing like telling 150 men what to do!!!

My turn. I'm a bank teller(very exciting). I have two childen. Tara 28 and Robert 25. Tara lives with us in Florida, Her and her daughter Kennedy,8 live at our house. Kennedy has lived with us all her life except for 1 year. Tara was a correction s officer for the state ( all male prison) but she quit. Now she is going to ENT. and got accept to the fire academy today. Robert lives in Pa. ( which is where we lived 5 years ago. He lived here for a year and a half but his girlfriend wanted to go back, He wishes he was back but what you do for love? They are looking for a house but not having much luck. He works for Low -Jack and has for 6 years. He goes to school full time also. My husband Rob works for Sears as an appliance tech.
Kennedy is in third grade and my sunshine. Yes I still do home work every night ( too old for that). But wouldn't give her up for anything.

Goind to WDW next week. Robert is coming down for a week. They are going to WDW first. We are picking them up on Thursday and spending the day before we bring them back here. Shannon it will be worth it, not going to WDW to go on the cruise. I would do it too. I'd rather go on DCL any day.
This will be the first time my whole family are goingOn DCL. I'm not sure it's a good thing or not? The kids still argue like crazy.
Well I got to go now. Oh ya! the nerve of the bank they took away our Web access. Well talk to you all later.

Good evening ladies!! I had a much better day yesterday and today!! Thank goodness!! Only ended up having my own son and one other kid yesterday, and 6 kids today, but everyone got along so great, the day just flew!! Glad we're getting to know each other a bit better...we can just chat away the next 13 months!! That should make it go faster!
So, debbie, where in pa does your son live? We are on the border of pa and ny. You are so lucky to be going to the world next week. We might go see disney on ice for our big thrill! I guess it's coming locally in oct so maybe we will get to see our favorite characters before the cruise after all!!! We have to check out dh work schedule, and see what days it's playing here, but i'm hopeful to see my fave mouse!!!The kids will be surprised. Hopefully, they will sit through it ok. They are used to seeing mickey and running to him to give a hug to him. Not sure how they will react to not being able to get personal with the characters.
Silly question, but how did you guys get the cool little pics under your names? I'm so computer duh, that i'm embarrassed!! I want to get a little picture and a countdown thingy and all the fancy things to sign my name with. Where do i start?? I don't even have the proper names for this stuff...is the pic called avatar? Don't laugh at me!! I'm in desparate need of some help!!

The pictures under the name i think you go to user CP and it is in there some where... maybe debbie can help you out more on it.. LOL. Anyway my week is ok. I have been busy this week. I worked 10.5 hrs yesterday and man was i tired but, i do get to get off early tomorrow ...wooohoooo....then i am taking some time off. I will be off friday - sunday. work mon and tues then be off wednesday - saturday. Boy am i ever ready too... LOL. well hope to talk again soon....

question for the day...(i hope we didn't already answer it) Do you guys know what room #s you are in?? I'm not sure if we did list them in an earlier post-i don't have time right now to go back and look! We have staterooms #2092, 2094, and 2096. Two of them are connecting for my family, and the other is for my parents. We will be cancelling one of our rooms if we don't get pregnant this month. I might cancel anyways, cuz even if we do have a little one at cruise time, it will most likely sleep in the bed with us anyways. My kids all share beds, but 2 will be listed on my parents ressie. Boy, that will save us a lot of money, and would be great!! Our rooms are listed on the noisy list i've seen before, but i'm hoping it's just cuz it's across from laundry. We had room 2038 in jan, and that one was nice, and had the steamer trunk too. I hope we have one this time too!! That was nice!! Ok, well, gotta go get my kids picked up from preschool now, so i'll talk to you later!!

We thought about getting ajoining rooms but, this is our anniversary celebration and we wanted more privacy from my sister and her family when we wanted it. I know that i could lock the door BUT... well you know how that is... LOL. However if we wind up adopting some children by then we wont have any privacy... i might then try to get ajoining rooms if possible.. LOL. Let them watch the kids for a while.. LOL ... what are sisters for...
