For the reunion cruise I would vote for the Eastern because I like the sea day, but I will go with the flow on what everyone else wants to do.
- A Negative for me was the Sports bar, it was cool but not like Diversions. I missed the board games at Diversions and the nacho and wings bar!!! I could not find nachos or wings anywhere on the Dream. And there was no "If I were not upon the sea" show.
- I do not think there is a Pirate Night buffet, so no turkey legs, and no midnight dessert buffet but I am not sure if that was because it was a 4 days cruise and they just don't do it on the 4 days.
- To me there were some outstanding and very friendly CM's, but it didn't seem some are as friendly and willing to help as the Magic/Wonder but I am sure that is because there are a lot of new cm's that are not use to the "Disney Way".
- There is no steamer trunks, but the ottoman opens up which we used as a hidden junk drawer and to me it seems like there is more storage now in the rooms.
- I love the higher beds and that they don't split even though I know Jeanne and Joyce didn't like it because they couldn't seperate it into two beds so one of them had to sleep on the couch. I cannot tell you how awesome the linens were, I wanted to take them home. So comfortable and soft, beds are amazingly comfortable! You cannot feel the ship move as much.
- The one thing that was weird is that that forward and Mid elevators are super close to each other and the aft elevator is really far from the Mid elevator. Some of the elevators only go to Deck 11, but other would go to Deck 12, a few to Deck 13 and one to Deck 14 so it was interesting to try and figure that one out!
- This is something crazy but I think Bonnie realized it and it was kind of annoying, the closet doors open out now and no longer slide. The bathroom doors open out now (which took me longer to figure that out since I was so use to them opening in and there is a bigger step into the bathroom so I kept tripping up), and then cabin door opens in, so if someone is walking in to the room and you have the bathroom door open or closet door open, they will crash into each other.
- I do not like how you have to turn on the lights/tv with a key card and keep the card in the slot to keep it on. I tried to outsmart them and use my WDW key to the world card, but it was taken. If Chris had his in the slot then left and I was still in the room, I would have to put mine in otherwise it goes dark after a couple of minutes. OR you would walk out of the room and forget about it completely! If you have your hands full walking into the room, make sure your card is out to put into the slot beforehand!!! The way you enter your room is just swipe your card across this pad, you would not have to take the card out of the lanyard to get into your room (if you didn't want lights!!!) I liked that!
- I missed the promenade lounge, we use to sit there before dinner and wait for the restaurants to open up and listen to the performers sing and play. Now they have the performs playing/singing in the atrium.
- I did not like how the adult pool is forward and the adult lounges (the district) is Aft. I much prefer the magic and wonder where the adult areas are always forward.
I think that is about it for me on the negatives (with positives thrown in too) Definitely positives outweigh the negatives.
