I got a text picture from the cruisers before they set sail! Looks wonderful and I know they will have a great time!

Susan, I hope that you guys warm up soon. My grandmother in Venice says it's sooo cold down in Florida.

Nothing exciting here. The Big Guy turns 10 next Saturday! I can't believe that our little wine drinker becomes double digits!!! Denine, the Big Guy is starting to get a complex, you guys go on vacation just in time for his birthday.... I see how it is

Kids get their report cards on Friday... by the papers and tests that have come home.... it's gonna be a GREAT weekend!!

Itinerary Change for Select Mexican Riviera Sailings


Disney Cruise Line® has recently announced that, for departures through April 17, 2011, the 7-night and 10-night Mexican Riviera itineraries will replace calls to Mazatlán with an additional call to Cabo San Lucas. The decision to modify the Mexican Riviera itineraries was made in part due to the changing environment in Mazatlán and our continued focus on making the safety of our Guests a top priority.

I wonder if this will be a permanent change? hmmm
Hope it doesn't effect your cruise this fall.

As promised, I am posting again this evening.

When Turner was sick last week his English class watched Dead poet Society and they have to write an essay about it. Since he was out, I had to rent it and I watched it with him this evening. We just finished. Now he is in his room working on the essay. Glad I only had to watch it!!

Dinner was a roast in the crock pot so I didn't have much to do when i got home.

Work was a bear today! Wish I was with Sandy and Heidi instead!!

We may get to the mid 50s this weekend and no rain.I can't wait!!!!

Watching my new favorite TV show, Modern Family. Then I guess I will head to bed. 5:30 will be here too soon!!!

I probably won't be back until tomorrow evening. I need to be at work early tomorrow.

Julie: Are you going to be having a party for Brooke and Garry? Yeah, we did see that about the itinerary change. It was an iffy port to start with, but I knew Disney wouldn't put guests in danger. It would be nice though to eventually get a differnt port instead of Cabo for 2 days, but hey, we missed Cabo the last time we were supposed to go!

Susan: I don't remember if I've seen that movie. Hope work is better for you today!

We have to take Jerry's mom's cat to the vet tomorrow. UGHH!!! The whole reason for getting her a cat was so she didn't have to worry about letting a dog in and out all the time and so she could take it to the vet herself. It has been a year now, and she expects us to help her. So, we have to drive to Parma, catch a cat that is always hiding, drive to Strongsville, then back to Parma. Then she is taking us out to Olive Garden for Jerry's birthday and then back home. We feel stupid having so many people to take 1 cat to the vet.

I am going to call work tomorrow to get my hours. Wish me luck!

Almost time for me to be off. Water aerobics tonight, overtime tomorrow, hair appt then off to check out a place where we are going to have our family reunion this summer.

I can finally post. I don't know if it my computer or what, but I log onto the DIS and then it says I am not logged on no matter how many times I log in.

The cat has been to the vet. We just got home.

I have 1 day of work next month. I guess it is better than nothing. But, it isn't until the end of the month. I guess I get most of the winter off.

Just stopping in to say hello. Yesterday was very busy at work then had to take Turner to hockey practice since there was a parent meeting. Didn't have a lot of extra time.

Today was busy at work and I mistakenly deleted a spreadsheet that I had worked 2 hrs. creating. Fortunately I had save about half way through and only had to recreate part of it.

We are supposed to hit 60 this weekend!! I can not wait for a nice weekend!!! Unfortunately, I have to spend part of it in a cold rink. Turner has a game Saturday and a game Sunday. BUT, no traveling - the games are at home.

Denine, feel free to come work a day or two for me next month!!!

I'll be back on sometime tomorrow.

Susan: If I knew anything about computers or banking I'd be more than happy to come work for you. Anything to get out of the cold, snow and gloom.

We went to the West Side Market this morning. The roads were crappy and it was snowing/ ice pellets, but we are tired of the weather dictating what we do. We used to go there about once a month, but I don't know if we have been since we moved here. I got some kielbasi and hand made pierogi for dinner tomorrow. Kaleigh got to see some interesting things in the meat cases like suckling pigs and pig tails.

Kaleigh and Jerry are going to the father/daughter dance tonight. I get some me time.

Hey Susan! I thought I was caught up on my laundry, but in a blink, I think it multiplied! LOL! How did Turner's game go today? Makenzie has a soccer game tomorrow morning.

Denine, sorry you are so miserable here, maybe you should have moved down south instead of building your house up here when you did. I know you don't like this weather because of the "mental state" it puts you in, but there are several Clevelander's around here that do. I know snow and cold are your least favorite things but I think it's a nice change of pace for awhile at least. Were you like this as a child too? Hey, Garry and I know a friend who owns a house down there, since Jerry can work from home.. maybe he would rent his house to you guys for Dec/Jan/Feb so you guys wouldn't have to deal with Ohio weather. You must really be miserable now, sorry about that. Yes we are having a birthday party for Garry and Brooke (a joint family party since Brooke had a party in January with her friends from school), but you guys will be gone in Florida. It seems like you guys always miss one or the other cause of a trip you guys plan.

West side Market is awesome! My aunt's family use to own a meat stand there years... I mean years ago "Sommer's Meats" but they sold the stand after her parents died and her brother and her lost interest. Saturday morning are the best down there!


Oh yeah, I have to brag.... Makenzie got straight A's again this quarter and Garry and Brooke got all A's and 1 B. (actually Makenzie got 3 A+'s and 4 A's and Garry got 2 A+'s and Brooke got 1 A+) They really did awesome again this quarter! We are so proud of all of them!!!

Well, Makenzie won her game this morning!!! she scored 1 goal and assisted on another! She is doing really well.

Nothing else going on right now. Kids are outside enjoying the snow and I'm trying to straighten up the house... yeah this seems fair! LOL

Turner's team won their game yesterday but lost today. He also had try-outs for high school hockey today. As one league starts winding down another begins.

The weatherman was wrong again but this time i was ok with it. It was supposed to be 64 today but we made it to 72!!!!! What a beautiful day it was. That is why I have not been on the computer today. Who could stand being inside on a day like today. I even rode to and from the rink today with the sun roof open!!! I know it won't last but it sure was nice.

Paul is heading out of town for the week so this will be a long week.

Oh well. Enough from me for the day. I need to get the kitchen cleaned up before I head to bed.

I can't stand not being able to access the boards. I had to go through IE instead of AOL.

Julie: Nothing either of us will ever say about winter is going to persuade the other to their point of view. And yes, I hated winter as a kid too. I hate being cold.

Hoping this storm isn't going to be as bad as they are saying.

Kaleigh had an awesome time at the father/daughter dance. Jerry sat with Amara's dad. Amara is Kaleigh's friend from Sunday school and PSR and both girls keep wondering when they are going to have a play date! Her mom is on the Disney Mom's Panel. Those 2 girls are like magnets to each other!

Jerry has been putting our home videos on DVD so we have been watching Kaleigh as a baby again. We watched her take her first steps today. Seeing all the WDW stuff is making me want to go even more!

Jerry has a dentist appointment tomorrow, we will see what the weather is like. I am guessing Kaleigh's PSR is going to be cancelled again.

We saw a cat get hit by a car. It just ran out into the street without looking. We stopped and asked a person we saw if it was her cat, but it wasn't. She heard the loud bump though. She was with her dog. Jerry went to see if the cat had any tags or if it was still alive. It was already gone and had no tags. The lady was going to call animal control. Unfortunately, Kaleigh saw it and is really upset.

Poor Kaleigh. I know that had to be hard on her. HUGS HUGS HUGS

Another one of my great aunt's passed away. This was the youngest of my grand-father's sisters. The funeral will be Thursday.

Sounds like that is one big storm building in the mid west. Good Luck Denine.

Denine, I wasn't trying to persuade you into liking this cold weather. I feel bad for you that you are so miserable. I know you know I don't mind this weather, and I know you hate it. That's all.
Sorry to hear about the cat you guys saw get hit. I'm sure the person who hit it, didn't stop, did they? I don't like to see any animal get hurt... squirrel, rabbit, cat, dog, deer..... any animal.

Well, I'm thinking the weather people are gonna get this storm right. I always say that the more "hype" the news and weather people give a storm, the lower the impact it has. BUT,,,, I'm thinking this one is gonna be more "accurate" then the past. Looks like you could be right Denine and Kaleigh's PSR class will be canceled IF they are right about it.

Bonnie said the new ship was HUGE.. and very nice, but there were bugs that needed to be worked out. She said the inside staterooms are small and the video porthole is cute... but seen it once... and done. I'm waiting to hear more from her about it and can't wait for Heidi and Sandy's report.

Julie: As long as you weren't trying to persuade me! The car that hit the cat did not stop. I honestly don't even know if they saw the cat. It ran out into the street and looked like IT ran into the back wheel of the car. Now, they had to know they hit something, but they never stopped to find out what.

No PSR tonight. I don't know what they are going to do about First Confession in 2 weeks. I don't see how the kids are going to know enough. SO, I hope they cancel and reschedule. But, since we are going to be gone, Kaleigh won't have PSR again until March 1st. But, what she seems to be learning isn't much. They were supposed to do a craft today. Really??

We have about 6" of snow so far. Don't know how much more snow/ice we will get. I guess it all depends on the system itself as to who gets snow and who gets ice.

Did Bonnie do the back to back too or was she between cruises?
