Here is what
DCL said:
Dining attire varies by venue or theme night on your cruise. In general,
most meals are "Cruise Casual"-- jeans, khakis and capris are permitted;
however, we ask that Guests refrain from wearing shorts, swimwear or
tank tops in the dining rooms.
At this time, the recommended attire for your each night of your cruise
itinerary has not been determined. Please check back with us closer to
your sail date and we should have this information to share with you.
I am old school, too, with the idea of blue jeans but if they have become more the norm on DCL I guess I could change my attitude. We got spoiled on the Alaska cruise. We never ate in the Main Dining Room. We only ate in the buffet since they serve the same food. We loved the freedom. So......we ate in blue jeans every night and LOVED it.
WW went real good. Ted was the hit of the evening. He told the lady that registered him that I made him and made several wise cracks. They gave it right back to him. Had a ton of laughs. That's good cuz he will go back. Plus there were several men. (phew)
Did I tell you that I went in yesterday morning just to see what I weighed? I was worried because I always went in the morning and you weigh less then. In the afternoon you usually weigh about 4 more pounds due to eating and drinking. Plus the last time I weighed in I was wearing shorts and a summer top. I just didn't want the huge shock. So when I finally weighed in last night, I LOST a pound from the morning. CRAZY!!!! They couldn't even explain it. I ate what I normally do throughout the day.
