Hi guys! Barb, like Denine said, we are scheduled to go on the Oct. 16th cruise. It should be a nice trip like last time. I like the eastern's because of the extra day at sea, but the western's are fun too. PLUS you get to sample all the tequila's on the strip in Cozumel ... hiccup! Right Denine!
Well, Anna Marie is doing ok down at Disney. She has learned what the "working force" does! LOL! She had to dye her hair one color before she started. Her high lights were tooooo extreme for them. Then she had to have her nails cut 1/4 of an inch to get the disney look.. WELL, since she is working with food, she had to cut her nails to be even with the tips of her fingers. THEN she had to wear the bonnet WHICH she wasn't too trilled with, but I told her how cool, you don't have to do anything with your hair for work, just put it in your bonnet and go!!! THEN she had to learn to do ALL the jobs in the kitchen (cleaning the grill of grease for an hour after they closed, plus cleaning the fryers...) Things she hasn't done because when she worked for Mc Donald's she only did the drive through window , so she never got the "full" idea of work. PLUS, she works AT LEAST 7 hours a shift and she has worked for 5 days in the row with only 2 days off.... She is adjusting, it was just a huge shock to work like most people. LOL! She is having better days. She will have to learn every "station" at Liberty Inn and will have to work all the stations as well. She just thought she would ahve more interaction with the guests and I told her she will once her training is over. She just has to take advantage of the "shadowing any one in the Disney company"... ie. an event planner, wedding planner, a business manager...etc....) on her days off and/or before her shifts. And make the best of her time there! It is a networking opportunity so she needs to do it! I'm sure she will begin to like it better as the weeks go on, it was just a HUGE ADJUSTMENT for her. It sure isn't a "vacation or days in the sorority house going to college or working for 4 hours at Abercrombie and Fitch folding clothes" that she is use to. I just told her welcome to the working class! LOL! Plus, not having someone having dinner ready for her when she comes home..... But like I said, she is doing a lot better and I really think that once training is over, she will like it SOOOOOOO much better. SO, if anyone is going to Disney..... she'd love to go to dinner with you, (your treat of course...

she is a working college student!) LOL!!!!
Denine, we aren't sure if we are gonna have the party now. We were gonna have it here, BUT Garry's friend John (from our wedding) said something about maybe having it at his house, so right now I'm not sure IF OR WHEN we are having a party or not. I can let you know before you leave.
Heidi, If I have to choose a team in the superbowl, I would probably choose the Colts. I like Peyton Mannings commercials.. so I will cheer for him (ok that sounds such like a woman comment

). I just like football AND there are teams I just CAN'T cheer for no matter what! (like Pittsburgh to name just one).
Sandy, that is great about your PT place. They seem like they will help you! I will be watching Survivor too! I'm also a LOST fan, and Amazing Race, Big Brother, American Idiol..... among others!
Hi Susan! Thinking of you! I hope you guys are making through all the snow/ice storm ok.
Well, gonna run! Have a super night everyone!
