Mom - I have a laser appointment and then plan to meet up with Taura again for dinner so I will meet you at the campground on Thursday. At least your car was inside before the hail, I'm not that lucky.

Heidi, I forgot to say that I bought you a little something today from the party store. It is so you!

Oh no Heidi. Sorry about the hail! We ended up with pea size. Nothing to worry about here, thankfully!

Wasn't happy to be back at work today:guilty:

Went to the chiropractor after work and my back is feeling some better. It will take some time. I go back Saturday unless it gets worse. Garry, hope you didn't cause any serious damage to your back.

Pixie dust to Julie's parents, Tyler and Kaleigh.:wizard:

Heidi, jope you escaped the hail damage.

Will check back in later after a little farming!

Susan, unfortunately back pain can take a long time. At least you realize that and staying on top of it. I think that farming is your stress buster!

Well, I am having my thyroid and liver bloodwork redone tomorrow. I talked to my doctor a couple of months ago after reading a thread on Weight Watchers and asked him about getting another type done and he said that normally they just do the one. Well, I have done some research and have been very nervous about either bringing it back up with him or just plain going to an endocrinologist. I got my heartbeat up and called today and told the girl that answered that I wanted the other test too. She told me that my doctor was out today and she would take it up with the other doctor. wow, that was easy!

We will probably be up in the middle of the night again. The doctor that Kaleigh saw last week wasn't in and won't be in until Wednesday. This one said to wait until Wednesday to see if the ATB kicks in. I am thinking she didn't want to step on the other doctors toes at Kaleigh's expense.

Sandy: Glad you didn't get any hail damage.

Susan: Go enjoy your farm.

Taking Kaleigh to the library program. She didn't read enough to get the book this week. Almost there though.

Denine, interesting about one doctor vs another. I truly believe that happens and hope my results in the morning won't be the same as Kaleigh. That is so sad for Kaleigh if that is the case! She shouldn't have to suffer!

Sat farming for too long. Need to go ice my back then heat. Goodnight to all.:grouphug:

Susan - Farming can definitely hurt your back. You need to sit down after farming and relax. ;)

Brittany leaves today. After I get off work we have to take her to the airport. Looking forward to being able to do nothing the next few days at home!

Good Morning

Thought I would post before I jump to my farms. Lost 2 crops yesterday GRRRRRR got busy running errands last night.

Going right from work to work out then Tiffany and I are going to a midnight movie going to have to get in line around 8. BLAH! Took tomorrow morning off.

Good morning.

Kaleigh's cough seems to be some better today. Her throat looks the same though.

Kaleigh has a game tonight.

Sandy: I forgot to answer your question about Kaleigh's school yesterday. I buy a boxed curriculum which means everything I need is in there, including lesson plans. That is the main reason I do it this way. They tell me everything I need to teach and when. I buy a different one for math, but again, it includes the lesson plans. Of course it is more expensive to do it this way, but it is cheaper than Catholic school.

Susan: Put down the hoe and relax.

Heidi: Enjoy a few days of doing nothing.

Barb: What movie starts at midnight????????

We may go to Amish tomorrow.

Hello everyone,

Susan, how's that back? Don't you know that farming is hard on a back? I remember my poor old grandpa! LOL Seriouslly, you are doing a great job staying on top of it.

Denine, I have heard that it is expensive. Not much you can do about that! I was just curious how lesson plans work. Pretty cool that it is laid out for you!

Went in for my bloodwork today. OMG, my poor arm hurts and it bled afterwards really bad. So bad that it saturated my cotton ball. Now it is swollen. It certainly didn't hurt so who knows what in the world she did. She was rushed and I wonder if it had something to do pulling it out.

Tonight is another retirement meeting. This is getting old. We have only attended one so far but there is another one tonight and then again on Thursday. I just go as a dutiful wife. At least Wednesday, Heidi and I will have a movie night with some DISers. We are going to see The Proposal.

Better go try on some dresses I bought for the cruise. My size 10 dresses for some reason don't fit anymore. Man, I hate myself again.

Did a little farming again today and, yes, sitting to farm takes a toll on my back.

Stanley (our lab) had to go on meds today. He has had a problem since he got back from the kennel. They took a sample and said he must have picked something up from the kennel.:sad1: He gets no food today and only half his usual tomorrow. Hope he is better soon.

Today was my 23rd anniversary at work:scared1:. How can that be? Was I 6 when I started there?:lmao:

Have a good night and I'll check in tomorrow.

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Susan - poor Stanley. I hope he gets better soon. 23 years at work, Congratulations, I can't believe you started work at such a young age! ;)

I hope Barb enjoyed the movie. We were texting back and forth last night while she was waiting for the movie to start. I bet she is sleeping in now!

I can't take much more of this. Kaleigh woke up coughing her little head off and crying. She is still coughing. I got a doctor appt. for this morning.

To top it off, the one time I go in the backyard without shoes, I step on a bee. The bottom of my foot is swollen and sore. I can hardly walk on it.

I have Jerry coming home from work so we can take Kaleigh to the doctor, normally it wouldn't be a problem, but with my foot...

I feel so bad for Kaleigh and there is nothing I can do for her.

She had a good game last night, she got 3 people out. But, she volunteered to sit the bench the last inning and that is NOT my child. She hates sitting on the bench.

Susan: Congrats on the 23 years. You must have been a child prodigy!

Sandy: Yes, the boxed school is expensive, but worth it to me. I need to order math today. Size 10? Only in my dreams! How is the arm?

Barb: How was the movie?

Back from the doctor. Now she is going to be on augmentin. Had a chest x-ray. Dr wants her to see an ENT, earliest appt is 8-10. She may want her to see a pulmonologist.
Will see this dr again 8-6.

I don't know what is what anymore.

Denine, poor Kaleigh just can't beat this. I am sending hugs and pixie dust.

Susan, I remembered Stanley. Bless his heart. I always feel so bad when you have to limit food. Pixie dust to Stanley as well.

Barb, are you alive? Good grief, I couldn't stay up that late and then go to work. I could in my younger years but not now!

Heidi, I sent an email to you. I may need you to get the tickets for tonight. I will stay in touch no matter IF I can go or not. Don't ask questions!

My foot is doing so much better. I put on new shoes and they seem to be helping immensely. Too bad I didn't do that from the start. I just hating wearing new shoes when I have to pay 150.00 for them. I just have to get over that!

Hey guys! Just popping in. Things around here are pretty much the same. Took Garry to the dr.'s yesterday because of his back. He got vicodin(sp), a muscle relaxant, and a v-pac for the swelling. He also has to go see a back specialist. This is all related to him lifting the radar trailer back in 96! Then when he got re-ended back in 2000..... He is truly a hurting unit. On top of that G Dog "we thought" he had strep yesterday, but he has a virus that runs just like strep. IF he doesn't get better, they want to test him Friday for mono. What's one more thing?

My dad's leg/foot isn't doing good at all. Now his Achilles tendon is exposed. So who knows what will happen next with him. Well, I know what is probably going to happen.... but......

Denine, sorry to hear about Kaleigh. She's lucky that she doesn't live over here. She wouldn't be doing anything until we figured out what was wrong. Plus with the others, I can't have everyone sick at the same time. It's hard enough when one person gets a cold that it doesn't go through the whole house more then once!! I know that she has her "peaks" and doesn't have any problems during the day, but obviously what she does during the day effects here at night. I'm such a meanie!! G Dog has been asking about Cedar Point, but until he is back to normal, no one will be going anywhere. I know, I know I'm a meanie!! A big meanie! Do you think that the dust from the baseball field might cause this coughing episodes at night that is after she has a game? Even though she sits out an inning or two, the dust that is kicked up by others can't be good for her lungs. You poor guys! Keep us posted. Hang in there! Oh yeah..... sorry to hear about your foot. Are you the reason that the bee population is dwindling? :lmao: I've been there and done that. I know that it's an ouchy!

Susan, let us know about Stanley! Poor pooch! Your farm is looking really good!

Barb, I want to know about the movie. How was it? We all are dying to know about it!!!

Heidi, so what are your plans this weekend???

Well, gonna fly! Have to go and get a letter from Garry's dr.

Tomorrow G Dog goes to get his eyes checked!

Be back later!

TTFN

Julie - Just wanted to give you a hug, sounds like you are going through a lot.

Denine - You also need a hug. Hang in there.
