Julie - I was hoping to see you all too but you weren't sure because of your Mom and Dad. You are definitely welcome to join us on Saturday. Call me on my cell phone and we can work out details. The hotel has a great pool/waterpark that the kids can swim in if you come down here. I hope you don't feel like we left you out. I was kinda waiting to hear from you since I knew you had so much going on.

Turner's team lost their first game 5-4 but they played very well and it was back and forth. They play at 11:30 tomorrow and again tomorrow evening.

Getting settled in for the night. Chat in the A.M.

Lova ya

Sorry Julie, I had no idea you hadn't been in contact with Susan. We are just meeting at her hotel at 2 PM.

Hello all.

We had a nice time with Susan and Paul yesterday. We actually got to see Turner play. We met Turner after the game and man, did he get tall. Nice kid. Good Job, Susan!

It was kind of strange going back to Kent. It has changed soooo much since I graduated. The tri-Towers is now the Twin Towers, they tore one down. They tore down a whole group of small dorms. Built new buildings. I did show Kaleigh the chemistry, biology and nursing buildings and the dorms I stayed in across from the hockey rink.

Today we went to our church's Oktoberfest. Food was yummy. Kaleigh met one of her friends there and they had fun together. They were in Sunday school together and will be in PSR together this fall. They both won goldfish. So, we had to go to Walmart to buy goldfish stuff. It is in her room to keep it from the cats.

My brother was dumped from his bike on Friday and out for 15 minutes. They took him to the ER, did all the tests and he seems to be fine. I guess he got stitches in his face too. Today he was off to NJ for work and won't be home until Thursday.

Kaleigh finished her antibiotics this afternoon. I listened to her lungs this morning and they sounded great.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Good morning friends!

Susan - glad you and Denine could meet up, how fun! How cool to have a mini waterpark at your hotel. How did Turner do for all the games?

Denine - glad Kaleigh is doing better.

Barb - where are you, did we lose you forever????? I miss you.

Had a good weekend. Spent a lot of time trying to get ready for our Road trip. Tonight is grocery shopping!

Another Monday morning.

Jazzy is hurting again. He may have arthritis in that paw.

nothing else going on.

Good morning guys,

Nice hotel Susan! I would have enjoyed it myself! I love water. The more I get the better the vacation. How did Turner do?

Denine, I would love to go back to my college. Lucky you! Isn't Oktoberfest a little early?

Had a nice weekend. Hard to say goodbye to Stacey and family even if it is only two weeks. It was Christmas in July. Santa came and delivered gifts, there was a turkey and trimmings meal, hayride and Christmas tree decorating. Of course there was a contest for decorations. Stacey and Richard had a live band as well. The band they get is awesome. They are so versatile that they play 40's music to today's music. Very talented. They are getting harder to book since the word is out.

Better get a move on. Have tons of stuff to do before we leave on Friday. Hugs.

It was great getting to visit with Denine and Jerry. Kaleigh is a sweetheart! Turner didn't remember them except from me talking about all of my DIS friends. But I guess that's the difference between 8 yrs. old and 15 yrs. old.

Turner played pretty good. Their team only had 13 players and all the other teams had wither 19 or 20. Our boys played with intensity even though they were pretty tired by the end of each game. The reffing wasn't the greatest and of course that got Turner riled up when they didn't call a kid skating in on him so he argued and got a few penalty minutes of his own. He has to learn to zip it!!

Julie, I hate we didn't get a chance to see you guys. It would have been nice. I hope your mom and dad are doing ok. You still owe us an update on that. Maybe we'll get up that way again and can meet up.

Doing laundry this evening. :laundy: Turner has some really nasty smelling clothes from the trip!

Love to all! (mean it)

I can't believe Turner doesn't remember his "family". Oh well, I will have to dig out the pictures I have of him at the Wilderness Lodge. Zip it....lol. That's hard for a 15 year old.

I am afraid that we are going to get hit again tonight. The clouds are soooooooooooo dark. And I mean dark! Heard on the news that last Mondays storm had 350 million dollars worth of damage. I hope it doesn't hail again, we have the trailer here. Went shopping for the food for the trip tonight with Chris and Heidil. Of course we managed to make the chore fun.

Shopping with dad and Chris always makes things fun! We got most of our groceries last night, now just to pick up a few last minute things on Thursday.

Susan - I have some laundry I can pass on to you!

Denine - Poor Jazzy. He doesn't seem to get a break.

I have been researching online where we can swim in Yellowstone, hopefully we can do that if it isn't too crowded!

Have a great day, glad it's not Monday anymore.

Good morning friends!

Barb - where are you, did we lose you forever????? I miss you.

Ahhhhh Thanks Heidi :hug::hug:

Good Morning,
I am here, sorry, once again I have been MIA. I always have so much to do in the morning and get so many calls it is really frustrating to try and post. I really don't want our board to fall apart so I will make a new committment to post at least a few times a week. Promise.

Ok back AGAIN to my post. I keep having to abandon it for calls.

Denine- Hope your brother is doing ok. How is Kaleigh doing? and Jazzy??:hug::hug: Sounds like lots of fun with Susan. Glad you got to spend time with them.

Sandy-Christmas in July sounds like so much fun. I have been working on stocking and wrapping gifts so I guess I am having Christmas in July too! YAY!

Susan-Hello farm buddy! Thanks for the nice sign you left. I appreciate you guys missing me. I have good intentions every day to post but get so sidetracked I forget.

Julie-Bet you guys are gearing up for the school year.:teacher: Ethan does not have to take school supplies this year for preschool but I have heard others complaining about having to take 10 boxes of crayons, 2 set of dry erase markers, 2 things of printer paper etc...... One of my friends spent $250!! I REFUSE to supply the school. When Ethan starts we will supply him and only him!

Today for our team meeting we are tye dying. My idea, why I don't know but now I am in charge and heres the kicker. I have never done it before in my life. When will I learn to keep my mouth shut and stop coming up with ideas??:headache: I bought some kits and these tote bags for everyone. We also ordered lunch from Daves Pit barbeque. So it should be a fun meeting. Bad part is I am still clueless and have to teach it. Did I mention I got 1 hour of sleep last night? I was up stressing over stuff again. So I am pretty tired today. I did get some house cleaning done.

Kids are doing great. Ethan starts school next week. Kara is very nearly perfect. I have been taking Ethan to the pool every weekend and we started the summer reading program at the library about 2 months to late so it is turbo reading at our house.

Tiffany leave Friday headed back to college. We have been buying all the stuff she needs to take back. I have been trying to load her up with enough shampoo's conditioners laundry soap etc... to last until Christmas. BLAH! $$$

Jaymee is so unhappy where she is but everytime I talk to her she always sounds upbeat. She is such a sweetheart  it is hard to keep her down. I miss her sooo much :sad1:

Not much else new with me. I don't think. I will check back later and try to post again.

Love you guys
I must be really hug needy today.

Barb - Yay, I am so glad you posted. Your tie-dye sounds like fun. I have never done it either, let me know how it turns out! I wish we had fun meetings like that. Tiffany is leaving already? Geesh, this summer is going by so fast. Poor Jaymee, is Louis with her? I can't believe Ethan starts school already, I think Joey and Tyler start August 17th. How is Missy and Bob doing? Miss you.:hug::hug::hug::hug:

Hello everyone. It doens't matter what day of the week it is. Something bad always happens.
This morning it was Goldie the goldfish going belly up. We had a fish funeral. I told Kaleigh we would get her another. I never felt good about that fish, it didn't eat. But, Kaleigh was in tears, so I had to deal with that.

Jerry got Jazz some glucosamine, but he doesn't like his food with that in it, so he didn't eat his breakfast. UGHH!!!

I work tomorrow instead of Friday this week.

Barb: You make me laugh with all that you get yourself into. Let us know how it goes.

Sandy/Heidi: Have fun on your trip!

Julie: I hope things are calming down over there.

Susan: Glad you got home safely and hopefully we can get together sooner than this last time.

WOOHOO Look at me posting 2 in one day! I am listening to a call right now. We record all our calls and if there is a complaint I pull the calls and review so I have a second.

Bob is doing good. He is in the process of getting the house ready to paint. Next week is his birthday we are hoping to be in New Hampshire for it. We have not seen his family in years. Missy is doing good too. She is dealing with a baby that wants Mommy to hold her ALL the time. She does not want to fall asleep unless she is in her arms. She is trying to break her of it. :lmao: She cried for 2 hours yesterday. Missy is just lost on what to do with her. Better her then me.

Barb: I know why you are posting twice today. It is because Farm Town is down! :rotfl2:

Better Missy than me too!

:cool1::woohoo::yay:Yippee Barb posted. YOu are always missed. Thanks for checking in farmer Barb!!:hug::hug: I can't believe you have to tie die. Man, that's something I've never done. Have you been flooded lately? Can't believe all the rain. I'm loving todays temps in the 60's. I think of Jaymee and wonder how she is doing. I pray for the best for her!

Denine, Stacey lost a fish too. Then all of a sudden they started having babies so that perked up the kids. I know of one that thrived. Not sure of the other one that hid pretty good.

Hi guys! Glad to see Barb back and posting! Is Jaymee in Quatar? AnnaMarie's half-brother is stationed there. It's his second trip there.

Denine, we have lost so many fish (actually I got rid of the huge fish tank we had). The kids weren't too upset. Same with the 2 birds we had. We are waiting for the dog to walk across that rainbow bridge (or have some help, unfortunately) and I think my kids will be more upset with that then the fish we had. You guys have such horrible luck. How do you do it?

Sandy and Heidi, are you guys gonna have any excess to the internet while you are gone? We would love trip updates!!!

Susan, glad Tuner's trip was good. Sorry we didn't get to see you maybe next time.

Garry's back is still giving him troubles. He has an appointment with a back specialist on Aug 5th. Of course the city is giving him a hard time with this latest back pain saying it's not from his ODI, but we all know that it is. It's just going to get even MORE interesting around here! On top of that, Garry went to sit down in his chair at work and the chair snapped in half! And he landed on the floor. Of course that doesn't help with the whole back thing! I'm sure that probably did more damage,,, sooooooo gotta love it!

G Dog has his glasses and is loving them! He looks really good in them. He picked them out all by himself.

It's a lot BUT the kids LOVE getting their new supplies!!! There is something about getting a new box of crayons and new notebooks!!! THey get to pick out thier colors and designs and things like that. It can be expensive, but I get a kick out of it too! I know Denine doesn't have this added cost since she home schools, but I wouldn't take this away from the kids. ANd if they run into classmates while getting the supplie... that's just a bonus!

Well, gonna run. Have to make a grocery run. I usually let the kids play outside all day since it's been so nice out the last several days, so I go when Garry gets home from work so they can stay and play.

TTFN

Be back later!

Well that looks like a cheap trip. $10... $20 tops?? :rotfl::rotfl:

Ok Barb, that doesn't make me feel very good that you are posting because Farm Town is down!

My niece and nephew could earn extra credit by bringing in stupid things like kleenex and can't remember the other stuff. Bad practice!

Julie, I really really really feel sorry for Garry and his back. And then the chair incident. Poor guy! I am not planning on having internet. If we do get it, it will be an added plus. I just don't know where we might find it. I really hope so especially in Canada as Heidi, Chris and Ted will be hikiing and that would give me some entertainment.

Another retirement meeting tonight as though we don't have enough to do already!

Anyone watching Big Brother?
