Tyler is back in the hospital. My sister took him Saturday night to the emergency room and he was admitted around 1:45am Sunday morning. My parents met her up there and I waited by the phone, we are all exhausted. It seems to be the same thing that had him in the hospital for a week last year at this time, pneumonia. His blood pressure is extremely high and his oxygen level low. He is taking very shallow breathes. My mom is going down to be with Joey today because she cannot come up to the hospital to visit Tyler because its the cold and flu season and the hospital won't allow it. Thank goodness for Skype. I am going to try and take off early from work today to go back to the hospital with my sister.

Lilly passed her intermediate class yesterday, so in about 2 weeks we move forward to advanced class. She is doing so well. Soon she will have her Canine Good Citizen certificate! She gets spayed tomorrow.

How is Tyler today? Poor kid can't catch a break! I hope he gets well soon!

We went to another park program on Saturday and we were the only ones there. Good for Kaleigh. She got personalized attention. It was about animals you find around here. The park ranger showed us where there is a beaver lodge so that when the weather warms up we can take Kaleigh to see it.

Susan: I wish we had your weather!

Not much else going on here right now.

Denine - What a great hands on experience for Kaleigh.

Tyler now has pneumonia, the flu, and an ear infection. Poor Stacey and Tyler. She broke down in tears when they told her he now has the flu and an ear infection.

Stacey has gone through so much. I am sure she feels like this is never going to end. Hugs for her and for all of you!!!

Kaleigh has her last private swim lesson today. Her instructor is going to let me know which group class to sign her up for.

Then PSR tonight.

It is official, Jerry will be an actual coach this year for Kaleigh's baseball team. He has helped coach the past years, but hasn't been an official coach. He has a meeting Saturday morning.

Just found out that Tyler will be staying another night at the hospital. Poor guy.

Denine - How fun to have your dad as a coach! What a great bonding experience for the both of them. Does she like swimming lessons now?

Hugs and prayers for Tyler. Lot of hugs to Stacey and the rest of the family too. Hope he gets to come home soon.

Not much going on here. Just work, work, work.

Good morning! I cannot imagine how tired my sister and my mom are. Its just exausting being at the hospital. I cannot wait to get some sleep, I am so tired.

Lilly got spayed yesterday. When I got home from the hospital, she jumped down from the couch and was excited to see me. She isn't supposed to jump up or down on furniture, go up the stairs, play very much, or go for a walk for 7-10 days. She was groggy and was walking sideways, she didn't eat or drink at all last night and just laid there looking sad. I kept feeling sorry for my poor baby hoping she would feel better soon. We brought her up to bed and she stayed in the same spot the entire night which is quite unusual for her. Woke up this morning to Chris and the dogs already downstairs and Lilly knew I was up so she was whining to come see me. Chris carried her up the stairs and I was expecting to see her just like last night, but she was complete opposite. She is already back to her crazy self. She was licking my face and giving me a lot of kisses. When I got downstairs she was jumping up on me, bothering her sister and trying to get her to play, eating and drinking, just her self again. I was shocked she had such a quick turnaround. Now I am afraid we will not be able to keep her calm for 7-10 days. Should be interesting. I bet she ends up being in her kennel a lot to get her calmed down. So excited my playful puppy is back but hoping she doesn't do to much damage to her wounds.

Kaleigh starts her new group lessons next week. She has advanced through 4 classes! She couldn't even pass 1 before. I am so proud of her!

Another crummy, cold, rainy, cloudy day here.

Heidi: Animals never do what they are supposed to do after surgery!

Hope Tyler is improving!

Jerry has been a helper coach on Kaleigh's team the last several years, but never an official coach. He ended up doing the pitching for the team last year. I am sure he will be pitching all of this season cause the head coach and the other coach don't like to pitch. Kaleigh loves having Jerry as a coach!

Yay, Tyler is being released today. He is eating and drinking a little better and my sister asked if he could be released and just be sent home with oxygen.

I'm here. I am so exhausted that I am sick to my stomach. I would love to take a nap but I have sleeping problems at night. I would hate to mess up tonights sleep. What to do, what to do!

Well I started to take a nap and got interested in that blog about renting a car in Cozumel. It's all your fault that I didn't get a nap. Now I'm going to be grumpy, LOL. Thank goodness for leftovers.

I hope everyone is feeling rested today.

At least it is sunny today. It is only 30 though. Going to be in the 30's for the next week. It may say spring on the calendar, but all we really get is extended winter. We may get a couple of nice days if we are lucky, but no true spring.

I am off tomorrow. I need to call for my hours next week. Going to the library book sale tomorrow. I need more treadmill books!

Denine, we are in the 50's with high winds predicted. It is so dry here that we have already begun fire season with a fire already burning. I heard last night that our average snowfall for this time is 51" and we only have 18". Not good with these high winds and dry grounds.

Heidi, I just had the best lunch. I stopped at SuperTarget for sandwich makings for you guys and they had a little combo pack. It was so yummy. It had chicken salad, crackers, carrots and grapes. Yum, I will buy that again!! ($3.49)

Sandy: I hope you don't have to contend with fires. It is currently snowing here. The weather channel said there was a 0% chance of precip. Only in the 20's right now.

Another successful journey to the library book sale!

Kaleigh did awesome on her CAT test! She got a 99 percentile. You can't get higher than that.

Kaleigh has her last theater class tonight.

My back is killing me. I think it has something to do with the rotten chair at the hospital. I hate it for just sitting but I slept on it overnight when Tyler was admitted. He is starting to improve but is still on oxygen. Next dr visit is Monday.

Jerry is at his baseball meeting. I should vacuum, but my head hurts and I don't feel like it.

I am wearing my purple today sandy.

Hope your back feels better.

Happy anniversary Julie and Garry. Too bad we couldn't go out last night. I need to look at my calendar for another day. Have fun at parents weekend!
