I was told that they only open only a select few times for each member group... so that there are some for the "NEWBIES" the day they board the ship....

But keeping the fingers crossed for you!

DEAL SANDY!!!

Just let me know when you get to FL. We will be there Thursday and Friday before the cruise... so I will have room for you!:thumbsup2

Thanks but if I don't get one it's no biggie. It will make Ted happy if we DON't!!:thumbsup2

Yay, I'm on the phone with Ted now.

Hello Ted...............I'm going to FL and taking a cruise. See ya in a week or so.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: There's plenty of food in the freezer and I did the laundry yesterday. Just scrub the bathrooms if you don't mind.

I completely understand! We are going with that attitude this trip too. We aren't doing the pirate thing this year, just don't want to pack the extra stuff.

All I want is time to relax!!!! Just a few hours.... during a 7 day cruise, I think we can do that.... I HOPE!!!!

You are chatty today Julie!

I am not slamming anyone, just saying that we don't need to take any work with us.

Heidi: Traveling when we want is a perk with home schooling.

Sandy: Maybe there are more Platinum cruisers on that cruise since it will be a new ship?

SWEET!!!! AUNTIE SANDI IS CRUISING WITH US!!!

You know that we do have 2 cabins....;)

Thank Ted!

Move over one of you. You have to share the bed!

Denine, there are a bunch of platinum cruisers but not all of them could even get Palo dinner and/or brunch. Some thing has to be wrong OR they have a ship with a bunch of big wigs onboard eating in Palo every night.

Heidi, I am soooo glad you didn't go to aerobics. It was the biggest waste of my time. Absolutely not a workout. Diane and I were both upset.

Hello on a Monday!
Ususally Mondays are way to busy to post but being today is a holiday it is a teeny tiny bit slower.

Another busy weekend for me. We are in the middle of painting the house. BLECK! I am not a painter and Bob has to use a brush and not a roller. The man is insane! I brushed the front door and that was enough of the brush for me. I was going to get off early today to help but been to busy and now it is not worth it.

Merv's condition is not changing much. He has however stopped responding. Not sure why. Even though he still is understanding he is not responding. It is so sad. He is on a feeding tube and pulls at all his hookups. I feel so bad for him. Such a sweet sweet man.

Julie & Denine how exciting to have a cruise coming up. We have not been on the Disney cruise since 2006. I am a nothing member:sad2: with Tiffanys college, 2 weddings and raising 2 grandkids we have not been able to afford it. I hope to go next year though.

Well still have some stuff to get done before I go home so I will check in again later.

Barb - I am sorry about Merv's condition. Keeping him in my prayers.

I had a nice long weekend, makes it tough to come back to work! I am sure today I will be slammed, not looking forward to that! I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Barb: I am sorry to here about Merv. I wanted to ask how your dad is doing? Better, I hope. Yeah, you have lot on your plate financially. I grew up painting the house every summer. We would do 1 side every summer. I scraped and painted. The only way to do house is with a brush. It gets in all the grooves.

Sunny, but cooler today. Jerry is working from home. He wants to get the grass cut and other stuff.

Just found out we need to fill out a health assessment form for insurance next year. I don't know all the info they require, but weight is one of them. If you don't fill it out, it could cost you an extra $100 per month. UGHHH!

Barb, sorry to hear about Merv condition... thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

I know Sandy saw it last night on facebook, but I had to post it here too....

Makenzie was chosen by the Cleveland Browns to be the "Kick Off Kid" for the Browns vs Patriots game on Nov. 7th !!!!!!!! She will get to be on the field during pre-game warm up and pre-game show. Stand with the Browns team on the side line and run onto the football field to collect the football tee from kick offs in the first half of the game!!!!! A parent will get to go on the sidelines with her, so I told Garry to go... I will be in our seats screaming... That's my girl!!!! We also get 4+ extra tickets to the game for the family to go. Her name and picture will be on the jumbo score boards AND the Browns will put her on the website and any other publication they want along with the NFL!!!!! She is sooooooo happy! Even her brother and sister are excited for her! They are happy they will get to see her! NO ONE gets to walk on the field... but players and coaches and the field crew, so she will get to do something that only few have done before!!! The Browns called me yesterday when I was at my Dr. appt. and we were scheduling the surgery date. I already had to sign our life away in a release form so the Browns can use Makenzie's name and picture. SO, after the cruise we have this great event to look forward too!!!!

My foot surgery will be November 10th (my birthday of course). But I need it. They wanted to do it on Nov. 5th... BUT since we found out about the Kick off Kid on the 7th, there was NO WAY I was gonna miss that game!!!

Well, gotta run. Gotta do some laundry and the rest of the cleaning before we leave.... at least it's not cleaning and laundry for the trip.... That's BEEN DONE!:cool1:

TTFN

Julie - That is so awesome! How do they pick which kid they are going to use? Is there special requirements? That is so exciting. I cannot wait to see pics of her!

Julie, I think that is so awesome. Take lots and lots of pictures for us. This is something SHE will never forget and neither will the rest of the family. You wre sweet to step down and let Garry be with her. I know it was hard but I'm sure Garry loves you for it!!

Denine, saw your countdown on FB. I can feel your excitement.

Barb, poor Merv. I pray he comes around fast. Bless his heart. I know it has to be so hard on you emotionally. Hang in there.

Tonight is Girls Night Out with my girls and my niece. We think she needs some time away from what is happening with her mom and dad separating. We are going to a movie and dinner out. Today I am spending the whole day with Stacey. She's in town for a flu shot and then will stay and get some car work done. She will leave the car at the dealership and then we will go Christmas shopping and have some fun. After that, it's Girls Night Out. What a great day.

We are getting rain and lots of it. YAY!!

Julie: How exciting!

Sandy: Sounds like a fun day and evening planned.

Sheez, Stacey ran me ragged. I am exhausted and so is she. She's napping until dinner. I hope I don't fall asleep in the movie, LOL

We had a fun night. I was tired and got the giggles and think my sister wanted to throw me out of the theatre. I couldn't control it, I really did try to! Lots of fun, can't wait to do it again.
