Oct 19, 2002 UNSTOPPABLE...

Sandy: Kaleigh actually cried. We had the car for 16 years. The couple that picked it up were very nice. They are older and this is their side-line business. She actually home schooled her 7 kids 20 years ago!

Getting the car onto the truck was a bit scary. The car is long and low. The ramp was steep. It rubbed in a couple of places getting it up, but no damage done. Jerry said he wouldn't be happy getting the car on that kind of truck, he would have paid more to get a truck designed for cars, but it wasn't his decision or money. I am glad, after seeing that, that they didn't come on Tuesday in the rain. It would have been more difficult. Jerry felt like he was blasting off into outer space driving that thing up the ramp. He wanted me to send a message to the buyer to be very carefull getting it off the truck.

We now have both cars in the garage!

We also had my car in the shop today getting the Onstar module replaced. So, after they left, we had to go get my car.

Jerry is out cutting the grass.

Denine, sounds funny but having both cars in the garage is a big thing that's for sure. Scary transport and scary for poor Jerry that had to drive the car on it. Yikes!

Supposed to be nice today! I am going out to get some yard work done after school. We are going to pack this weekend.

Jerry just got off the phone with his mom. They were talking about our rain on the weather at some point this past week. They said North Ridgeville got the most rain in the area at about 4" last weekend. They said it just sat on top of us. Uh huh!

I finally did it. I paid off the cruise and WDW. I have no idea why I let it go until the last possible moment. Heidi, a friendly reminder to book ASMo if you want to stay there. Jeanne and Joyce will be there, too.

Denine, glad you are having good weather. We did too. A little chilly but we are done with the outside of the trailer. YAY!

It is gorgeous today!!!

We planted 100 daffodil bulbs today. Can't wait to see them in the spring. We got a bunch of end of summer yeard work done since yesterday.

I pulled stuff out to pack. We will start that once Jerry gets the suitcases up from the basement.

Yay, happy packing day. You guys have a terrific vacation.

Gloomy day but that's ok. Trailer is done and we need the moisture. There's a big grass fire very close to us so it's a great reminder how much we need it.

Supposed to be in the mid-uppper 70's today with rain this afternoon and then 60 tomorrow.

We got almost everything packed except for the hanging stuff and stuff we are still using.

Kaleigh and I have school today and tomorrow. I need Wednesday to finish everything. At least with home school, Kaleigh misses nothing. We will just pick up where we left off when we get home. Unfortunately, one book we are reading (Witch of Blackbird Pond), we will not finish. I hope we remember what we read when we get back!

Kaleigh and I have school today and tomorrow. I need Wednesday to finish everything. At least with home school, Kaleigh misses nothing. We will just pick up where we left off when we get home.

NICE! A slam on me and my kids for not being home schooled. My kids will pick up where they left off as well. Since all of them are "A" students, their teachers are fine with them missing the "hours". Doesn't North Ridgeville have a certain amount of hours that a home schooler needs to complete? The ONLY thing they will miss is their extra curricular activities like choir and their sports teams and of course all their friends who want to go with us.

Our packing is done. It was all done on Friday! I have the hang clothes all together so I just will put them in the bag on Wednesday night. We leave Thursday morning.


Sandy, I hope the fires out there will calm down soon. I know how dry it has been out there. My cousin lives in Arizona and he was complaining about how dry things have been out west. So how is everything else going?


Heidi, all I can say is !!!!! I believe you are in need of a few! (remember our little facebook chat?)

Barb, like Denine said, yes we are all cruising together. We try and sail the same time, so we can get Jerry up on stage with the comedian! LOL!

Susan, I hope you had a blast down at disney! I believe that you should be coming back from your visit. Can't wait to hear about everything!

Well, gonna go. I have to clean some of this house before we leave. We will have football, soccer, and cheerleading up until we leave, so we don't have any down time until we set foot on that plane!

Having a Heidi day today. She's off so we are going shopping.

Tonight we can book Palo on the Dream. Rumors have it that it is all booked for both cruises. Some Platinums couldn't get ressies. Who knows. I'm not worked up over it since we really aren't hooked on Palo, just the souffle and the lemoncello.

We are the lowly scum "gold members" but we had NO problem getting our Palo ressies for this cruise. We got high tea, brunch and dinner all at the times we wanted.
