Hey guys!

Just a quick pop in! Doing laundry and trying to motivate myself to get things out for the cruise. I did try on my dress for formal night, it's big... but it will have to do. I guess I can pin it where I need too. Don't have the time to go find another one. The girls have their dresses and the boy has his dress shirts and polo's. Garry's suit is too big too, but I told him to tighten his belt and keep his jacket closed... LOL!!! Losing weight is good, but can be a headache!

Well talked to Anna Marie for a few minutes last night... (she doesn't call unless she wants something.... which is hard for me to understand since when I was in college I talked to my mom at least once a week) ANYWAYS.... she wants to now study abroad next semester .... IN HONG KONG!!

I told her good luck but she wasn't gonna get any help from her dad and I. I think it's totally ridiculous... but she believes it's "ALL ABOUT ANNA MARIE" and doesn't think things through. And when you do try and tell her the "negative possibilities" we are just being mean. SO, who knows if she is going to do it or not. I know I wouldn't but... hey I'm me.......

SO that is what's going on with us! In a mini nutshell that is.

Julie - Wow, Hong Kong....that has to be expensive! I would tell my girls the same thing, this is how much I will pay and the rest you have to figure out where to get it. Yikes! I would be too scared to go there by myself. How is she doing with the Disney College Program?

How exciting to be going on a cruise soon! Can't wait to see pics!!!!!

Julie, losing weight is EXPENSIVE!!!! The food you have to eat and then the clothes in between and then goal weight clothes equals $$$$$$ I'm proud of you that's for sure. I'm the opposite right now. My gowns don't fit. I agree whole heartedly with you about Anna Marie. Ain't gonna happen on my dollar!

Well, the guy ain't coming today. Jerry called another number and he gets the guy. He is broken down in West Virginia. He should have called. Now he won't be here until at least Thursday since he has to drop a load in Tenn.! Jerry told him to call when he knows more. The guy getting the car isn't going to be happy cause he is going out of town next week too. He picked the shipper though.

Julie - That is awesome on your and Gary's weightloss!!!!! Congrats! I can't wait until my clothes don't fit anymore because they are too big!

My mom and I saw You Again last night with some DISers (1 DISer and 1 DISer's wife)that we got to know real well a few years ago and had lots of laughs. Cute movie! Better yet it was only $5 for a ticket!

Good Morning

Busy week. Trying to organize some projects at work and just starting on organizing a family reunion this summer. Counted up just our immediate family and there are 49 members! I want to see if we can stay at a lodge somewhere like a ski resort in June. Don't know anything about any of them maybe Sandy or Heidi has an idea???

Julie-WOW SUPER on the weight loss! Congrats to both you and Garry. FUN FUN FUN on the cruise. I wish I was going too.

We have decided on a cruise for next October. Looks like we are going on the Dream probably back to back since it only doing 3 and 4 days. Bummer it is exactly the same ports though.

Getting ready for our Disney vacation next month. I need to get some "Mickey & Tinkerbell" prizes for the kids and make the decorations yet. Going to try and get that done this weekend.

My ex-husbands father whom I love dearly fell in his bathroom Sunday night and was not discovered until Monday night. He had a stroke and is now in the hospital. marks mother passed away last April so his dad is all alone after almost 70 years of marriage. He is 91 now. Sweet Sweet man. Breaks my heart to think of him laying there all alone for so long. He comes over to my house every Sunday night for dinner this past Sunday was Jason & Michelle's baby shower so I didn't see him.

Heidi-Glad to hear that is a good movie. I really want to see it. How fun to get together with other Dis'ers!

Ethan has soccer practice tonight then we are headed for the hospital to vist Merv. Bob is home painting the house. I have to work since I used vacation time when my Dad had surgery.

Denine- Hope the car thing goes ok how frustrating.

Sandy-How are the water aerobics going? Wish Villa offered deep water.

Well, the guy buying the car wasn't happy either. He had it set up to receive the car by Thursday since he is going out of town this weekend. The trucker didn't call him either. We already have the money for the car, it was deposited last week. We are just waiting for the shipper to pick it up to take it to Georgia.

Looks like it is trying to get a little brighter outside. Supposed to rain more later. I think we finally get a break from the rain tomorrow.

Barb: I am sorry to hear about Merv. I hope he gets well quickly. We stopped having family reunions a few years ago. Good luck with yours!

Barb, I feel so bad for your ex FIL. Bless his heart. I will remember him in my prayers. Water aerobics are going great again. I just don't have any ideas for you on a location for a family reunion. I will keep thinking tho.

Barb - I am so sorry about your ex-FIL. That is so sad. I hope he will be okay. Please keep us updated. Sounds like you are super busy...as always!!!!!! Do you want to stay close or travel a little bit further for a family reunion? What is the max miles you want to travel? I might have some ideas for you.

Good Morning!

Thanks for the prayers for Merv. Missy and I went to the hospital last night to see him. He stayed asleep mostly but every now and then he would open his eyes. I held his hand and he would squeeze it. He has a respirator on so we can't understand him when he does try and speak. He understands when you talk to him. He has bruises and a big cut on his arm from the fall. They think he was walking into the bathroom and had the stroke causing him to fall forward he must have had it early Sunday morning and was down until Monday night. you know I am a little angry about it. His daughter Jody goes to see him everyday but she was out of town over the weekend. He comes over to our house every Sunday night for dinner but because of the baby shower we didn't do dinner. He just go tile in his bathroom instead of the carpet that has been in there. Seems like everything that could have gone against him did and he is such a sweet sweet spirit. I am angry that it worked out this way that he laid there in pain and alone for 2 days. I know it is no ones fault but why did it have to happen then.

Heidi-We will travel so any suggestions you have would be really appreciated. A lot of my family is coming from out of state so it doesn't really matter where they go. I would like to go someplace that has options for stuff to do. WOOHOO 4 days off!!

Sandy-Are you camping this weekend?

Barb: At least he was found alive and getting the treatment he needs. It was a horrible situation. That is how Jerry's grandfather died. He lived alone and was in the shower and must have fallen or had a stroke. He hit his head. When Jerry's dad went to check on him, he found him. He was already gone. This happened soon after we started dating and I never met the man.

We are back from the dentist and Kaleigh's first filling. We know how she got the cavity and we hope she has learned her lesson.

We are expecting the shipper to show up soon. They called this morning as they were leaving Columbus and said they would call when they got closer. Right now, they either ran into traffic or stopped for lunch since I told them we wouldn't be home until after noon.

Barb: Yes, we are cruising with Julie.

Denine - I hope they get the car shipped off today.

Barb - I can imagine how hard it is, seems like everything was against him. So sad. The first thing that came to mind is Glenwood Springs because I love it there. You can go explore caves, hike up to Hanging Lake, go whitewater rafting and tubing, and then at night enjoy the Hot Springs Pool. I have also heard that Steamboat Springs is a great resort town to visit in the summer and has tubing on the river as well and a lot of activities scheduled.

Barb, I would feel the same as you. I think anger is a natural response. I like the idea of Glenwood. It's fun there and you could take a couple of hours and go to Aspen.

Ya, hopefully, one more weekend camping. It's suppose to dip in the 30's next week so we have to get it all winterized this weekend. No way out of it. We leave tonight.

I finally did it. I paid off the cruise and WDW. I have no idea why I let it go until the last possible moment. Heidi, a friendly reminder to book ASMo if you want to stay there. Jeanne and Joyce will be there, too.

Yay!! I thought I was the only one that got attached to my cars. Phew, I feel better.
