Hey, I'm kinda LIKING the woodwork.
$320??? Yikes. You all got me wondering though, maybe I could offer Katie $150. to buy a ring of her choice, that she would wear years in the future, when that time comes. My parents didn't let me buy one and I only really missed it on the first few days that the other kids had theirs. If I'd had something else nice in it's place, that would have been better.
Hey Barb, Katie is getting into cheerleading more and more. Now, when I was in highschool, the cheerleaders seemed a bit snobby. My sister was a cheerleader and her friends were totally nice (although the captains were bossy). Is it just hit-and-miss like every population? What are your observations on that and how would I be sure and guide the 'trend' in the right way?
Denine, seem to remember having to get pretty creative with those car seats too. I liked the padded head cradle (kind of horse shoe shaped?) for the side to side support when they fell asleep in the car. I never solved the forward problem but my neighbor puts a folded receiving blanket behind the babies back. I wonder how much that effects the safety properties though. Since it's such a firm support, it probably is still just as safe. Good luck, it's good that they do grow up so fast, in cases like this.
Thanks to our own cheerleaders, Sandy and Barb.
