Good Morning!!


Today for me is going to be a busy day. I have my schedule planned out from the moment I get off of work until I go to bed!

I can hardly wait to tell Bob about my Disney plan. It is getting harder and harder to keep quiet the closer it gets.

I made reservations for the Princess breakfast in Epcot. I gave up on Cinderella's Table. I still have to make a reservation for the Candle light thingy but you have to pay for it when you make it. Lets see 9 people at $42 each $$$$ ummmmmm next week!

Hi Barb, I chose to be a lurker the last couple of days. Thanks for worrying about me. My goodness, your mom is sure getting fit with me exercising for her! I can just feel your excitement over the trip. It will be fantastic.

On the truck, we have decided on a dealership. All we are waiting for is the final figure before we order it. It should arrive in about 8 weeks. I am in the process of looking for some CHEAP airfare. Give me the dates of all your arrivals, please. It doesn't look like we can arrive before 12-1 if we go.

I will cross my fingers that you don't get any rain for Ocean City, Jeanne. Joyce really needs the time away!

Lori, a funny movie? I loved Boat Trip that has just come out to DVD. It stars Cuba Gooding, Jr. I don't think it is for kids however.

Ok Bonnie, Julie and Garry, we are all born equals. It does not take a job or a test to make a person. It is what is within that counts. My 2 cents worth. Now stop with all this! As my mother would say, if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. Remember all those useful sayings our parents use to say? The radio was talking about it last week. It was fun reliving all those things. Anyone have any good ones their parents use to say? Share it with us.

Gotta run. It is time for Graci. It is my bad day. I didn't sleep much last night so it will really be a bad day.

Hi Sandy!! Glad your back. I missed you. Don't listen to anyone else about the dates for December Disney I will give you the right date. Arrive December 29 and leave January 5!. I am sure SOMEONE may tell you to be there early December but don't listen! resist!! December 29 is the day!!!

"Boat Trip", huh? I haven't even heard of that. I'll have to rent it. I like Cuba Gooding Jr. I saw him interviewed and he was just as wacky in real life. I thought that was part of his great acting.

My Mom used to say something that I didn't understand until my early teens. When trying to get me to go ahead and try something she would say... (cover your kids' eyes now) " Never up, never in." LOL She is SO conservative, too. I was just SHOCKED when I caught myself saying it, and in the same instant picked up on what it meant. I really yelled at her for that, as I'd been going around saying it as a kid.

I didn't post yesterday because it was a very long and stressful day. It ended on a good note - the van did not have a terminal illness! The adapter ring where the oil filter attaches to the motor had to be replaced and it ended up less than $200!!! I was thrilled!! Turner and I went to a Hockey Boosters Club meeting and Paul came home from his 2 days out of town.

I didn't post this morning after reading the banter and didn't know what to say.

I had to work late tonight to pack up my office (a.k.a. cubicle) because I am being move this weekend. I am taking Friday off and Monday is a bank holiday and I am going to Myrtle Beach with the girls, an early birthday present for me! I hope the weather is nice but I think there may be smke rain in the forecast. Here's hoping for !!

Just a little side note, I apologize to anyone who was offended by the banter that was going on between Garry and Bonnie. I did the typing so I'm the one to blame. It was in no way a slam on the nursing profession, Bonnie or anything of that nature. It was just joking that went too far. I will no long post anything with that kind of subject matter or joking of any kind. If I have given any of you the idea that Garry or I think the medical field is a joke you have been mislead. It is civil servants like police, nurses, doctors, and firemen (to name a few) that we give a lot of credit for the jobs they do. What other professions do you have to work holidays, weekends, and strange hours?

Ok everyone time to rally and keep our little family together!!

Last night we went to some friends for dinner. She actually made Pizza from scratch!! Do people still do that?? It was sososo yummy.

I went and watched Tiffany cheer. The state of Colorado has changed the scoring for volleyball. I like the new scoring, games are much more interesting. And Tiffany was so cute cheering I could hardly stand it

I got my Halloween costume yesterday. We always have a team decorating contest at work. Last year we took FIRST and now we have to defend our title.

Susan are you still going to Weight Watchers?? I am trying to get back.

Sandy-Lunch with barbbbbb, lunch with barbbbbbb.......
Once Mom comes back lets get together with Lori again. We could even do dinner again. This time Bob will have instructions to TALK!!! We will NOT be late. I have to redeem myself!

Julie and Garry, no need to quit the thread. Things got out of control and I could feel it coming. Sometimes (just like when we are kids) teasing gets out of control, gets taken the wrong way, something bad gets said but running doesn't change a thing. You've confronted it and apologized and that is hard for most adults. You need to learn from this experiene and move on.

Bonnie, you are missed today and I hope to read something from you TODAY! Not tomorrow and not a week from today, TODAY!

Denine, Chef Mickeys is really fun. Looks like we will make reservations for Dec 2 thru Dec 10th. I tried for Nov 30th but the airline tickets were 350.00 more. Ouch!

Yes Barb, people still do make pizza from scratch. Ted can even toss in the air.

Susan, never new a problem with a car could cost less than even 400.00. You did really good for 200.00! Didn't you just go to Myrtle Beach? Wow, all you guys and your close beaches. I am jealous!

Sandy-You are right about the car repair costs!! Although we did not have to pay $400 we took Tiffany's car in last week to get work done that was suppose to cost $80 ended up costing over $200.

Barb: You may not have meant it, but you crack me up. Myrtle Beach is in South Carolina ( I believe). It is just what it sounds like, a beach, in a resort town. It is not closed, it is nearby.

Where is everyone??????? I think the board is having trouble. This morning I tried to edit my post and it said it did it but really didn't. Just tried it again and the same thing was said. So....I just wanted you guys to know that I can spell knew.

Also, I added that Heidi found a fantastic cruise price with Carnival the same time as the WDW trip. It is an oceanview stateroom, 7 day, western Carribbean for 469.00 with airfare it would be 712.00 per person. WOW! I am soooo tempted but the reason behind going on a trip then was the reunion. Keep me grounded.

Just scrolled down and saw 2 more posts. Maybe they have fixed it. Hello to Barb and Denine. Now we need to hear from a few more!
