  WHERE IS EVERYONE???

Kristen is recovered from her bumps and bruises from soccer. We are even off of the ice and Advil :bounce: ! Tonight is Open House at school and the Book Fair. (Hopefully I will be home in time to watch ER..)

Not much else to report.......WHERE ARE YOU GUYS???

I am here, Laurie. Glad to hear that Kristen is getting over her bumps and bruises. It kills me these days that girls just bounce right back. Now me, if I ever got wounded as a kid..I was done with whatever.

Wondering where everyone else is. Let's not let this close the thread and all of our friendships. Anyone else out there besides Laurie and I????? Good morning. HELLO.

Hate talking to myself so adios.

Good Morning everyone!!

Soon Denine will be in Disney. I keep trying to come up with creative things to do for Christmas to make it special when the kids find out they are going to Disney the next day. hummmmmmm.

Yesterday Tiffany and I ordered her class ring. $320!! Can you believe how expensive they are now!! She had better take care of it!!

I also got to go to the Dentist yesterday. My jaw is sore today from being clamped open for so long. I am sososo thankful I have a Dentist I like and trust. All it took to get me to the Dentist after 15 years of not going is Bob telling he knew I would never go!

Just got back from taking Kaleigh to have her blood test. She was very good! princess:

I really hate car seats. We tried to recline it so Kaleigh's head wouldn't flop forward on the drive, but that didn't work. So, we decided to turn it around to face forward. But, now we can't get the straps loose enough. She gets strangled in the thing. Everytime you get it secured tight enough into the car, it leaves no room for the baby. All the straps seem to be connected. Will have to play around with it more tonight. It has to be right for Saturday.

Have to start packing today. Already pulled a bunch of stuff out, it just has to be packed.

I will check in tomorrow sometime. Jerry is working from home, so it probably won't be until evening.

Barb, you are always going a different time than me. What is up with that???? How about you change YOUR plans? No, just kidding. Creative things to break it to the faimily, huh? First I would need a creative mind to help you and that is something I will never have. Class rings are so expensive and now the girls never even touch them.

I will check in later. Hopefully a few more of you will come out of the woodwork.

Hey, I'm kinda LIKING the woodwork.
$320??? Yikes. You all got me wondering though, maybe I could offer Katie $150. to buy a ring of her choice, that she would wear years in the future, when that time comes. My parents didn't let me buy one and I only really missed it on the first few days that the other kids had theirs. If I'd had something else nice in it's place, that would have been better.

Hey Barb, Katie is getting into cheerleading more and more. Now, when I was in highschool, the cheerleaders seemed a bit snobby. My sister was a cheerleader and her friends were totally nice (although the captains were bossy). Is it just hit-and-miss like every population? What are your observations on that and how would I be sure and guide the 'trend' in the right way?

Denine, seem to remember having to get pretty creative with those car seats too. I liked the padded head cradle (kind of horse shoe shaped?) for the side to side support when they fell asleep in the car. I never solved the forward problem but my neighbor puts a folded receiving blanket behind the babies back. I wonder how much that effects the safety properties though. Since it's such a firm support, it probably is still just as safe. Good luck, it's good that they do grow up so fast, in cases like this.
Thanks to our own cheerleaders, Sandy and Barb.

Can you say "F" (f), "R" (r), "I" (i), "E" (e), "N" (n), "D" (d), "S" (s), what's that say? Friends!!!! Goooooooooooo friends! :lovestruc :grouphug: Group hug!!!!!!!!

Hey Lori-There still are certain girls that are "Snobby" but for the most part they seem pretty nice. I am sososo thankful the girls are cheerleaders. I think it really helps build self esteem. Plus they HAVE to keep their grades up. Being really involved in school also helps keep them out of trouble. Jaymee started dancing when she was 2 1/2 once she made the competition teams and danced 5 times a week. I got so tired of driving her back and forth. One time we passed 3 teenagers smoking and walking out in the freezing cold without coats. I was so thankful that my kids have been so busy there is not time to get into trouble. Plus being in the "Cheer" spotlight teachers know them really well and they are a role model for the other students. I think they take pride in that.

I love going to the games and being a really big part of their lives. I know their friends, their teachers and how the school is going with their sports teams. After they get out of elementry school it is harder to "fit" into their school lives. Tell Katie to go for the cheerleading. It is loads of fun!! If she ever needs help or wants to get some tips from a Cheerleader Tiffany is always happy to help. Plus the Pom Poms are really cool!!!

Love the hug!! We gotta keep this our family going!!!

Julie Julie come backkkkkkk!!!!!!!! We miss you!!!!!!!

Barb :smooth:

I am checking in again. I will just make a pest of myself until more of you come back! I do feel like a cheerleader Lori. Bonnie??????????? I insisted that you post and you didn't. Man, I can see what pull I have with you! Susan? Denine? Krista? Diana? Darren? Jeanne doesn't always post so I am not on her back. Sally is on her cruise without us and Julie, well, we know that she doesn't want to post. Come on, don't let the Colorado people dominate this thread! Even Laurie posted today. Ok, roll call again. Sandy is here. Next person check in...........

Barb is here too!! Posting from home no less!!

Colorado is on the board!!!

I'm here even though I have 1001 things to do before I leave in the morning. My DIS family means so much to me. I hope :genie:when I return Monday evening that things are back to normal. Bonnie, Julie, Garry, Jeanne, Joyce, Krista, Laurie, Diana, Darren - you are all missed and you are each a very important part of this unique group. We are 10 days away from the first time we met in person. We have to stay together to celebrate our "anniversary"!!!:goodvibes PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - remember the good times and how much support we give to each other!

I will miss you all but I still plan to have a good time at the beach.

Love to all! :grouphug:
Later!

Denine - have a great trip to Disney. Stay on I77 and you should avoid the majority of the race traffic coming through Charlotte.

Sandy, Barb and Denine - thanks for keeping the thread alive this past week. Keep it going through the weekend and I'll be back to join you late Monday.

Love to all!!

P.S. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!!!!:worried:

OK, I'm leaving for the beach. Have a great Weekend everyone!!

P.S. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - I hope to not be begging come Monday!!

TO All:
I have been taking a break...we all deserve a break at one time or another right? I apologize for Trying to goad People on to the thread and for hurting anyone in doing so. It is my warped sense of humor unfortunately. I feel that we have to look at how far we have come as a "family". As with any family there are bound to be a few misunderstandings at times but have to move beyond that to stay together as a family.

Work has been horrible and I have been exhausted trying to do 3 jobs at once. ANd then trying to get ready for Glenn's arrival this weekend.

Have fun at the beach Sue.

Denine-tell Mickey we're coming...Look out!!!

Have a good weekend all. I will.

Love you all!!!! Bonnie

Good Morning!!

It's my favorite day of the week and soon will be my favorite time of my favorite day.... 3:30!!

This week sure seems to of drug by. I think I am just getting to excited about seeing my plans fall into place.

Have a fun time Susan.

Have a wonderful time in Disney Denine.

Craft show season is here!! Every Saturday from now until the end of November there are shows!!! Seems strange not to have Mom here to go with me:(

Barb:smooth:

Good morning all.

So glad to see Bonnie post. You like Susan put it so nicely. We are family and there will be family scuffles but in the end we must put it aside to remain family. Family forgives and moves on. Hopefully Julie can find her way back. End of discussion. Have a WONDERFUL weekend.

Denine, have a great trip to WDW! Wow, how many times a year do you go? I would love to trade lives with you! Do you fly or drive?

Barb, you crack me up. You posted in the morning and said it will soon be 3:30. What an optimist! When is your mom coming back? I can't keep up excercising at this pace!

I have now asked my "employer" for the time off in December. Hopefully she can find someone to take care of the kids with this short of notice. Cross your fingers!

Sandy-december 29 disney world....december 29 disney world...
