Garry...you are up early!! IT must be a quiet night there...glad to hear that.

Did you forget Julie and I darting off after Makenzie as she became her own little tornado of destruction as she ran through the Magic's stores?
I remember Makenzie running out of Lumiere's and I believe Julie running after her!

Sue-GOod luck with the sleepover. Been there done that! Don't miss it. A little thing to do with them...pick up a bunch of cheap undershirts and tie dye them. The boys love it when we did it and they got to take them home with them. I had fun with that also!

Where is Jeanne????????? Having too much fun without us I guess.

Have a good day all! TGIF!

Good Morning!!

Yeahhhh it's Friday....

Missy is so thrilled with the letters from Mike she reads and rereads them. I am sending him a card today.

Enjoyed talking to you last night Bonnie.

Good luck with the sleepover Susan. I remember those days..... Wait a minute! I am still dealing with those days. Tiffany is already planning her next one with all the Cheer squads.

We are headed to the Zoo this weekend. Our Zoo is on the side of the mountain. It is lots of exercise. But I love going up there.

Mom is out planting again. She has an incredible yard in the summer. Everyone is invited to come and have a barbeque at Mom's house!!!

Barb

Let's see, where do I begin? We left at 4:45 AM on the 17th and arrived in WDW at 1:30 PM on the 18th. The front desk gave Kaleigh a balloon and some small kid magazine. We could swear that Kaleigh said "I've got a balloon" in Kaleigh speak. She loves ballons and really was trying to say the word while she had it. She is still ripping apart the magazine.
The first few days of the trip were just OK. Kaleigh was miserable with her teeth. She cut one of the top teeth before we left home and I didn't even know it. The other top tooth was right there, but didn't cut through until yesterday. The poor thing has been miserable! Plus, she was having some tummy trouble, so I kept feeding her applesauce and friut to get her back to normal. It worked. She was great the rest of the trip. We had a number of thunderstorms the first few days as well. Thay wouldn't have been a problem if kaleigh had been feeling better. The temperatures were great, upper 80's to low 90's.
Kaleigh absolutely loved WDW. She would scream uncontrollably in the room in the morning. We would leave the room and she would be fine the rest of the day, just to do it again the next morning. We discovered that she was ready to leave and wouldn't take no for an answer! She met Cinderella and Perla, and the Pooh gang. She was all smiles for everyone, but when it came to Pooh, she started squealing! She loves Pooh!
Kaleigh saw her first Spectromagic parade and loved it!
We were going to try to get together with my brother who was also down there, but it didn't work out. We did run into them at Epcot the day before they went home.
We had a 1 bedroom at OKW for most of the trip. On Saturday, we moved into a studio. Don't like those weekend points. We figured out that the studio next door was never occupied, so we asked if we could move to that room, no problem. Jerry got the key, opened the door and then opened the connecting doors. We moved right in. We had a 2 bedroom for the price of a studio for a short time.
We went to the Magic Kingdom Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It was absolutely packed. We left in the early afternoon and people were still pouring in. Even so, we got a fast pass for the Jungle cruise, waited the hour and walked right on. Why people choose to wait in line is beyond me! We did a lot more rides with Kaleigh this time. She still fell asleep on Small World, but loved the Maelstrom in Norway.
We spent Memorial Day at a friends house in Lake Mary. Kaleigh went swimming for the 1st time and loved it.
We did a little house hunting on Friday. Found some nice places close to Disney, but they felt like they were a long way away. We wanted to do more, but we just didn't have the time.
This trip felt so short. We love the weather and just didn't want to leave. I almost cried as we walked out of the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday to head home. October seems a long way away.
We ate at Artist Point, Alfredo's and Mama Melroses. We enjoyed 2 ice cream cookie sandwiches at the Magic Kingdom and a yummy pretzel in Norway. We walked so much! I don't think we did too bad considereing how much we walked. However, I don't plan on weighing myself until next week!

I am sure there is more, but my brain is already fried since coming home. Kaleigh still wants to be in WDW (so do we), and her teeth are really hurting her. The tummy is messed up again. She doesn't even want her bottle, she keeps pushing it away and crying. I give her oragel before her bottle and some tylenol, but nothing seems to help this time. Who said the top teeth were easier?????

I forgot. We came home to find out that my mom broke her wirst in 3 places, 2 days before we left, but didn't say anything. She fell doing Tai Chi. She refused to have surgery to fix it properly, so they set it and are hoping for the best.
Also, we came home to find out that the Mayor of our city died suddenly on Sunday.

I hope to get around to responding to everone's posts soon.

Looking forward to seeing you on the 8th Julie and Garry. Wait till you see the cake!

Whoa, wait Julie and Garry. I was offering my services for FREE but you would have to as an employer GET me there. Oh, do I ever remember the darter Makenzie. I even have her on TAPE.

Laurie, I do remember the nightmare of an encounter with you guys at St. Maarten. I don't think that I have ever been so hot. Like dopes we all continued talking. I like cruising late Feb, early March better as it isn't as hot but the prices aren't as good. Next cruise after Oct 2004 will seriously probably be Alaska on a Princess ship. We will do the train thing and all. Won't feel the HEAT on that one.

Denine, sounds like a great trip with the exception of teeth. With a baby that age I think you had a SUPERB trip.

Barb, name the date for a BBQ at your mom's and we will be there. Don't you think that you should check with her FIRST? ;) Got Jaymee's thank you card. She is sooooo sweet.

Took Heidi to Curves today. She just couldn't figure out the resistance machines so she wanted to snoop. She is a member of 24 hour fitness with all the weights and machines and was still impressed with Curves.

Wondering how Lori is doing. Hope they are having a FANTASTIC time.

Birthday dinner tonight for Stacey. Better get to cooking.

I've escaped the boys for a few minutes for some quiet and to post. They are all watching a movie right now and one had to have some Benedryl because of our cat (he will probably be asleep soon)!

The picnic at school was wonderful. The weather was nice and the kids played soccer most of the time while the adults talked and listened to the band. It was real relaxing compared to leaving with 5 boys in the van!!!

I'll try to post again tomorrow.

Susan, we are driving to Disney this time around but we aren't sure what route we will be taking. When we figure what route we are taking , I'll let you know! I'm glad to hear that the sleep over is going well and that you are still alive and well. I know when my stepdaughter Anna Marie had ONE friend spend the night, boy was that a LONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG night!

Bonnie, I will try to be on Sat night so we can chat. If anyone else well be around then too, maybe we can have a group chat!

Denine, glad to hear about your trip. I hope that we will have the nice temps you had. Hey, how did that "DVC talk" with Jerry go? Was it worth the time? I'm looking forward to next Sunday. Can I bring anything?

Well, it is going to be an early night for me. Makenzie was up throwing up last night until 4:00am. I felt so sorry for her. This was the first time she had ever thrown up since she was a baby. She seems fine today so I'm hoping that it was a 24 hr bug and nothing too serious! I just hope that the Big Guy doesn't get it!

Garry is off and working AGAIN!!!!!!! We think that next month he goes to 4 -10's ( 4 ten hour days a week so he will get three days off per week instead of two). That should help, EXCEPT he could work 5 or more days off in a row before getting a day off. Especially since the other sgt. on his shift injured his knee. Hopefully it won't be too bad. That will give him 12 days off every 28 day schedule instead of the 8 he has now.

Well, off to bed! Will check in later today!

I know when my stepdaughter Anna Marie had ONE friend spend the night, boy was that a LONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG night!

Julie how could that have been a long night? You are always up to the wee hours anyway! LOL!
I was looking for you around 12:30 last night. I must have just missed you. I was keeping my eyes open with toothpicks!

Mammogram today...I won't miss it this time... wish me luck.

The Dudettes work this weekend so maybe they will be slow and will at least lurk...Jeanne!!!!! You better post!!!!!!!!!!

July 4th weekend plane ressies made!!!! I can't wait!!!! At my age it is a shame to wish the days away but I can't help it! Funny how your life can change so immensely because of one chance happening...and for the better. OK...getting mushy and philosophical here.

Have a good day all! I hope everyone can check in for a bit of a chat tonight.

Another cold and rainy day. This is my weekend to work, but I got called in yesterday afternoon for 4 hours. I had to drag Kaleigh with me, I had just put her down for a nap, and Jerry had to come home early to pick up Kaleigh and take her back home. I still had to work this morning, but I left a little early, came home and went to bed.

Julie: Don't bring anything. It is just a simple cake and ice cream party. But, thanks for offering.

The DVC meeting: There were 8 people in Jerry's group, typical DVC people. The session was being taped and also being seen on closed circuit TV, by who knows. The moderator mostly wanted to talk about the benefits we have, what we use and why or why not. Jerry said it was very interesting and received the $75 in gift certificates which we used to dine out.

The next time any of you go to WDW, you have to check out the Basin store at the marketplace. It has the niceset soaps ( I got a gardenia scented one) and bath bombs, tons of bath bombs. Everything smells so nice.

Kaleigh seems to be feeling better today. Jerry said that last night, she was trying to drink her bottle from the side of her mouth. But, she drank better today.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Man...the nice weather...at least in NC and CO comes along and everyone disappears.

Boobs have been squished for now. If I don't hear anything by phone all is ok...pray for no phone call. I was right across the street from the hospital and was tempted to go in and yell at Jeanne for not posting but I was with my friend Linda.

We had a nice breakfast out and went to LL Bean and Organized Living. I love OL but just can't imagine what to do with that stuff. Now, my friend Linda who is disgustingly organized was salivating through the whole store!!! LOL!

Nothing else new here. Rainy day although it looks like the sun tries to peak out.

WOW no posts this afternoon after 3:45pm! Where is everyone? We lost power here for about 2 hours today due to the weather. It was cold and rainy and windy! The kind of weather you just want to curl up into a ball and sleep the day away.

Sure hope everyone has a good day today!

I think we all should send Darren another email and hopefully if he checks his email he will see all of us looking for him and maybe he will let us know how things are going. Just a suggestion.

Well, see ya later all!

Norma Rae here! I say those of us who post all the time should strike!!! Let's email each other and forget about the rest! Until they all start posting again!!!!

Very excited! Wheel of Fortune Wheelmobile will be in Atlantic City next weekend and I will be going down with my DIL and Olivia!!!! I will be the babysitter!!!! I can't wait!! Apparently she is becoming quite the little porker! LOL! Of course all breast fed babies get like that. I just hope the weather is nice so I can take her on the boardwalk...if it is raining I don't know what I'll do since I don't want her in the smokey, noisy casino. Will have to think that one out. Worse comes to worse she and I can stay home here! If I can convince her mom.

Miserable here...rain rain go away!

I didn't think it was ever going to stop raining yesterday. What a yucky day! It is cold today, but at least the sun is out.

Jerry went out to do some yardwork and I am stuck in the house while Kaleigh naps. Somehow, Jerry has taken over my yardwork duties. Although I was sprung for a little while the other day to do some massive weed pulling.

Work was alright this morning, I j ust didn't feel like going in this weekend.

This is the extent of my exciting weekend.

Lots of not good things going on in my life so I didn't want to bring you all down. The weather has certainly contributed to my depression:( . Put first flex today since I just couldn't handle the party atmosphere at work (Luau time).

Tried to catch up on all the postings but ended up reading just the highlights. Lots of graduations & birthdays!!!!!!!!

SANDY: I will take the heat anytime. I feel like I live in Seattle!

Hope you all have a great week. Toodles :earsgirl:  JEANNE

Here's my post and update!

After all the boys left yesterday, we went to see Daddy Daycare. I thought it was real funny. Then I left and went to my girlfriend Bernadine's house for a girls night out sleepover. Her husband is out of town this weekend so she invited me and Denise for a getaway. We ordered pizza and made a blueberry coffee cake for dessert. We watched moves until I needed to crash. Got up this morning and had breakfast on her patio and then came home. I've been cleaning house since I got home at 11:00ish and Turner and I are going to the mall for a little bit so I will not post again until the evening.

Later!

Kind of a slow Sunday here. Kristen has been down sick with a croupy cough. Its a beautiful day here but we are stuck in the house. John is taking care of his dad today so his mom gets a break too!! Hopefully later we can sit on the porch when the sun finally hits it and read and get Kristen some fresh air. She doesn't want to miss any days the last week of school.

We are going to fire up the grill tonight and pretend that its 75 degrees out rather than 65 :p !!

Have a great day everyone!!

Speaking of firing up the grill.....just finished dinner. Fresh corn on the cob, steaks, etc. I atried to watch it how much I ate but it was wonderful.

Turner and I went to see Finding Nemo while at the mall. It was 5 stars!!

Pixie dust to Kristen. Hope she feels better soon. Turner always had that croupy cough and it sent us to the emergency room a couple of times.

Enough for now. Later!

Bonnie called & gave me some pixie dust via her humor & cheered me up. Leave it to Bonnie. We caught up on her LOVE LIFE!!!!!!

"Ever After" is on TV (Channel 6). If you never saw it before, it is a really cute movie with Drew Barrymore.

Have a great week. I promise I will post more regularly. Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Threaten strike and they all come out!!!!

Thank you all...I am not very good at striking.

Laurie sorry to hear Kristen is not feeling well...it must be going around the country.

Sue...happy to hear Turner's sleepover went well...as well as yours!

Funny story...will make it short. One of the nurses at work is color blind...she came to work friday and really looked like she had a bad eye infection or allergies...Turns out she put red lipliner on her eyes thinking it was her eyeliner!!! We howeled!

Glad I could help Jeanne!

A little late but............( June 1st)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BOB AND BARB PARROTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see everyone posting again!
