Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

Oh my gosh Barb, I am beginning to worry about you. I am here, just a little under the weather. We decided not to go camping because they say the "monsoon" moisture is on its way for this weekend and with me not feeling well the 36' trailer might be kind of small. It has two slideouts but that still won't help. We decided to go to a movie tomorrow instead. And......no, I am not a nature woman. The campground has all the amenities. Huge pool, 2 hot tubs, showers, organized activities and more. Not to "naturey". We used to tent it when we were first married but now we are totally spoiled.

Bonnie, I see Julie's thinking and then I see Barb's way. I like that she could wear it to church and then change. Sorry I just don't feel I have any good advice for this one. I am sorry for all that you went through, however. I was thinking just the other day, that it could be passed down through the generations as an heirloom. Wow, that DIL is certainly an ungrateful little *****!

Susan and Julie, will be thinking of you tonight for Big Brother. Susan, do you have a favorite?

Barb, you crack me up! I love your conversations with yourself. Do you do stand up on the side?

Weather permitting I think we are going to try to do the Off the Wall movie again. They only do it the 1st Friday of each month and once again the weather is iffy. The movie tonight is Gone in 60 Seconds. As for the weekend, just cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning with a little laundry thrown in for good measure!

Sandy - I hope you feel better. I think our posts crossed. I don't really have a favorite on Big Brother but I do like the adversity this season. I won't get to watch if we go to the movie so you'll have to fill me in. Tkae care a feel better soon!

When DIL saw the gown in person she likes it...I told her the picture did not do it justice. Thank heavens...of course that was after she came home from a wedding with several glasses of wine! LOL!

Barb...you were too funny yesterday...now you know how the weekenders feel when we are sometimes talking to ourselves! LOL!

Lot of cleaning to do so off to work on the house!!

HOORAY!!!! So glad to hear that she likes it, Bonnie! I now you worked so hard on it and really wanted them to be pleased. I can't wait to see pictures of Olivia in it! Grandma rocks!!

The rain held off last night and we had a great evening at the Off the Wall movie. I really wish they did it more than once a month. Cheap entertainment!!

I missed Big Brother last night so someone needs to gice me an update. Sandy, did you watch it?

I'm doing major cleaning in the house this weekend so my break is over and I have to get back on task.

it is not perfect...there are some spots on the bodice of the gown ( I couldn't see them) so I am told today...to make a long story short I told them it is not perfect I do not want Olivia to wear it! They would not be happy therefore go buy one and give me the bill. At this point I would like to burn the thing! Never again.

Oh Bonnie, just catching up on these past few pages has me in a twist of emotions for you. I wondered if DIL had a good idea of what an heirloom dress looks like before you started. It's too sad that you worked so hard on a style that she didn't expect. Can the "spots" be dry cleaned? Maybe they just plain don't like the style and any excuse will do. If your DIL saw pictures of other similar gowns, she would see that it is a higher class style. What a rough encounter. I'd bet that you could sell it or give it to a friend as a wonderful gift. Olivia is blessed to have a Grandma willing to give so much love as you.

Bonnie, thinking of you and your saga. I really hope that it gets straightened out without hard feelings and grudges.

Susan, glad that the weather held out last night. We were to get monsoon moisture and didn't. I think it was quite a bit hotter than expected, too. Hmm, let's see, Big Brother. Allison put up Jun and Dana after she made a deal with Jun not to. Half of the house guests will be eating PB&J for a week.

Lori, gotta be loving that air today.

My cold takes a different turn everyday. Today I am extremely congested and starting to cough. Hate coughing as I usually end up with bronchitis or just dry coughs that I can't get rid of for a good length of time. Actually, I feel like I did when I got off the ship in October.

Got my impressions done today for my bleaching. I should have them here on Tuesday. It was an amazingly easy process. Shocked at what a dentist makes off them. Too bad they don't charge less so more people can get them. I would think that their profits would be about the same with more people, less charge VS. high prices, fewer clients. My friend said that one of their patients did it over the internet. The company sends you the "goop" and you make your own impressions and then send the impressions to them. They in return will send back your bleaching trays at 1/2 the price.

Went to see Pirates today. Ted liked it and I thought it was ok.
Looking forward to Haunted Mansion in the Fall.

Guess I will go check on Ted. It is suppose to be "our weekend" without any kids. Too bad I feel like this tho.

Good Morning Everyone!!

Got the house cleaned and most of the shampooing done yesterday. I with you Susan time to start my fall cleaning so everyweekend for a while I will be doing heavy duty cleaning.

All of us think you did a wonderful job and we love it! She better be careful or she will have all of your Disney family to deal with!! What kind of spots are on it?? Can't be that bad.

Tiffany has cheer camp again today. We are going to see Amanda off she is leaving for her cheer camp in Durango. Jaymee is working looks like another day with just Bob and I.

Sandy I can't believe you only thought Pirates was ok. I love it! Course I am kind of different anyway

Barb - I loved Pirates too! I got a lot of cleaning doen yesterday and I am drying the last load of laundry! Yippee!! We went to early mass this morning and then to breakfast. Now to put dinner in the crock pot so I can have some time to myself.

Sandy - not that I like Dana (I don't), but I'd be glad to see Jun go so there would still be a lot of excitement in the house between Dana and Alison. They obviously don't care for each other!

Happy Sunday! Just wanted to check in. Can't stay as it is thundering and lightening.

Maybe I didn't like Pirates because I was just not feeling well and didn't have my heart and soul into the movie. Plus the young man of about 18 next to me was "enjoying" his privates a little too much for me. Made me uncomfortable.

Had a busy weekend. We bought the cupboards for the laundry room and I spent the weekend staining and finishing them. They look really nice. Now we have to get the hardware to hang them and then hang them. I can't wait. We have talked about this since we bought the house, six years ago.

Jerry is officially in deliberation. They got the case handed to them Thursday afternoon. I hope it is finished soon. 1 more day of jury duty and the new computer is paid for.

I found 3 Cherry Ames books at an antique store. They were only $5 apiece. They actually had a 4th, but it was $18.50! I have 2 that my mom had gotten from her parents. I love books, especially old ones and the Cherry Ames books are about nursing.

Good Monday Morning!!

Spent most of the afternoon in the yard yesterday. I scrubbed scrubbed scrubbed the grill. Ick! But it looks so much better. new lava rocks and everything. Bob got our stream finally working in our pond. We put in the pond 4 years ago and build it to have a stream. Bob built a bigger filtering system and we bought a bigger pump. It is so peaceful to watch. I was weeding the flower bed around the pond.

Denine-Will you be able to tell us about the case once it is over??

Denine, sounds like you had a busy but successful weekend. At least you and Jerry can see the end of the tunnel with the trial! Sounds like it "paid" off for you.

Hi all. Been busy this weekend. Had my nephew's birthday on sunday so I didn't get a chance to post.

Where is Bonnie? I want to know if I get the dress ! I'm tellin ya if I knew how to get a hold of her I would give her a piece of my mind!!!!!!! The dress is perfect just the way it is!

I hope you are feeling better Sandy! Big Brother tonight (tues.) It should be interesting to see if anyone uses the veto. I don't like Dana. I think that Alison screwed up by not putting up Justin instead of Jun. Oh well. It should be interesting.

Susan, sorry if I passed the cold onto you. I am still stuffy but feeling much better. I have the nasty cough but primarily at night. Was up between 3 and 4 this morning coughing my head off. All in all I feel pretty good!!!!!!

I doubt that the veto will be used tonight, also.

I was concerned over Bonnie as well. Wonder where she is. Susan had technical difficulties yesterday. Perhaps, Bonnie has the same problems.

Where is everyone?

Jerry is hoping to be finished today or tomorrow. Once he is done, he can tell me about the case and then I can tell you guys. All I know is it involves a lot of money.

Sue: Hope you feel better!

We are hoping to go to the fair tomorrow. I love the fair and all it's fattening food. At least I will have weighed in first! I love all the animals, especially the cows and the bunnies and the baby pigs! Growing up, I spent a lot of time on a farm ( my parents friends). I spent all my time in the barn! They had the red and white cows with pink rubbery noses and peaceful blue eyes. I believe they are Herefords. I also like the black angus. They are pretty and good to eat! I could never eat an animal that I raised. They would be my pets! I also love the draft horses.

We got the stuff to hang the cupboards, now to find the time!

Sandy: Glad you are feeling some better.
