Oct. 16-23, 2010 - Bring Back the Magic

I can't help but notice that you spilled some of your martini. :scared1: They'll be none of that on this trip!

Two weeks from today I will be pretending to pay attention on a really boring conference call when I'm actually thinking about my first cocktail by the pool at the Radisson :drinking1

I am with you, I have two calls scheduled for that day and I will not be paying attention. :lmao:

I love the picture of Joanne and Roger. It is nice to see Roger smiling like that.

Just checking in because we changed our e-mail address today and want to be sure that we get notification when someone posts. I guess you have to post something yourself for that to happen.

I sure hope the weather is better 2 weeks from today as that is when we fly to Orlando!

Hi all -- Turning the calendar over to October made me so excited. I get to start marking off the days until vacation. . .

I was wondering if there are any 9 year old boys or 6/7 year old girls that would like to email Logan and Mallory to talk about the cruise. Logan emailed a friend back and forth before the cruise last year and they went everywhere together on the cruise. SO - I thought we would try it again. Logan is 9 and in the 4th grade and Mallory will turn 7 in November.

Send me a PM and we can exchange email addresses.

KATYPOP!

Just wanted you to know that Simone will be back on the Magic for this cruise. Didn't know if you had requested a specific serving team or not, but if not...Simone Tosti, head server! AND please keep an eye out for Handsome Daniel and be sure to tease him!

:lmao:

Thanks for the heads up Jackie! I'll make sure to say hi to HD for you ;)

Is there a meet planned once we're onboard? On the previous cruises I've been on we've met at Promenade Lounge around 3:00 pm, on our 1st day

Kathe

I think this is a great idea! We've met here before for other cruises and it's a great spot, a little out of the way and we can probably lasso a CM to take a group picture.

:cool1: That sounds like a good plan :cool1:
Lets do it :thumbsup2

We are up for a meet n greet. Since we, and I am sure many others, who have been posting won't be staying at the port this would be the only chance to meet everyone.

Great :thumbsup2 Do you think we could have this info posted on the first page so everyone can see and hopefully plan to meet up, even if for only a few minutes to say hi? :flower3:

Welcome to all the newbies! :flower3: I am Melissa & I'm traveling with DH Marty. We are celebrating our 7th anniversary on the 18th. I am a housewife and Mommy/stepmommy to 5 (older) kids, 2 dogs, 5 cats, 1 turtle. Hubby is an airline pilot after 20 years in Air Force. We are DVC owners since 1992. Since we live an hour away from WDW we frequently use our APs. We also are part of a group of folks who camp together at Fort Wilderness. We are fortunate to be able to cruise a few times a year, this is our 4th or 5th DCL and I've lost track of Princess cruises, which caters to our age group. Cruising is FANTASTIC!

Meeting in Lounge 1st day.....Wonderful :)

Martinis.....never tried one, might think about joining y'all

Asbergers....yes, the boys will be fine. :thumbsup2 It's better if you contact DCL ahead of time to let the teen club know ahead of time, but it isn't required. There's so much to do and your sons will have a fabulous time. DH has an autistic son who went on Magic with Mom, and he had no problems:) The teen club 'shared him' with the tweens (depending on what activities were going on) and he didn't want to leave the ship he had such a great time.

Nan, the weather in Florida made a fantastic turn this week (well, after all that rain! I got 8 inches at my house ) For the first time since last May I opened windows this evening!! It feels wonderful outside. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny.:sunny:

and I'll bite too.....popcorn::unfortunately 2 weeks from today I probably won't be completely packed, the cats' food & litterboxes still need tending to, the turtles tank still needs to be cleaned out, food for the dogs & cats still needs to be mixed & set out for son, the DVR isn't programmed yet, and I will be spending 2 hours at physical therapy & feeling like crud. Because of all of this I'll be moody and will end up arguing with DH about something :furious:(it's a tradition we know to expect, but everything always ends up fine)

I can't wait!!! :woohoo:

 :cool1:  :cool1:
Time for the Friday countdown :yay:

We have . . .

I'm starting to get butterflies in my tummy . . . :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!
